My number one recommendation for coming here is to have a list of what you need/are looking for because you couldn't possibly just browse the shelves like you would at Joann's or Michaels. The prices are insanely low and are the reason I keep coming back for my projects despite the lengthy drive from my home. The workers are all very kind and generous, often measuring lengths of fabrics and trims more with their heart than the rulers. I have never had an unpleasant experience with fine fabrics and I visited their Norcross location many a time, as well. If you're looking to stock up on materials, make a wedding dress, or your next cosplay, Fine Fabrics would be my number one choice for fabric and notions.

My only complaint is that it can be hard to navigate the aisle due to all the merchandise, the building has an unpleasant smell, and figuring out the price can be hard. I asked if I could show him the upholstery work that I needed done. Without even looking, he responded "I don't do that." I think a little bit more care could be expressed in the way this attendant handles customers. Perhaps the name of the store should be fabric store and not fabric and upholstery store, since the company doesn't provide upholstery services.
