Hobby lobby what can I say! Its a decorators paradise so many beautiful accessories! My only complaint is the customer service isn't always friendly. If you ask questions you feel dismissed. I always feel like some people don't know how to be assertive and professional without being rude. It's possible to be just kind! Bad customer service and unwilling to take feedback. Custom framing questions were pushed aside and the associate didn't help us understanding prices. She wouldn't tell me the different prices of frames and was overall very unhelpful. Poor customer service. I called the manager to give my concerns and she was very dismissive as well. Disappointed. I favor this Hobby Lobby out of the two in Edmond. This one gets less crowded, has easier parking, and is overall more organized. The only drawback for all Hobby Lobbies are that since they lack signs and some sort of directory, you have to walk throughout the whole store to find what you are looking for especially if you cannot find an employee to help you. read more

I've been fortunate enough to have Savannah in their Framing Department handle the matting and framing of some very special items for me. She's never done anything but an outstanding job with great care, precision, and often with creative suggestions that dwarf with what I originally had in mind. And all this with a very friendly, personable, and genuine concern to make my item look as appealing and attractive as possible. I've had friends who spent big money on some high falutin' framing ask where I went. They're always shocked when I tell them Hobby Lobby. Savannah does just a fine a job as the high priced galleries and she can frame and matte to museum conservative standards if needed. Surely there is no craft chain on earth that compares to Hobby Lobby. An Oklahoma based retailer that sells every possible craft item, but also gifts, art, home decor, Christmas decorations, greeting cards - just too much to list. I grew up in Oklahoma, and never knew better than to go to Hobby Lobby for about anything you need. Once I relocated to CA, and had to use other options, I realized what I had been taking for granted. (last month a Hobby Lobby opened in Huntington Beach, and my daughter and I are so excited) This company is expanding and growing for good reason. I find the location to be very well organized and the staff to be very helpful when asked a question. Always very knowledgeable about what they have and where it is located. Even though some of the reviews are negative below, I have never had a bad experience. The ONLY reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because THEY NEVER HAVE A REAL SALE OR DECENT COUPONS. I am sorely disappointed in Hobby Lobby. I experienced a decided lack of customer service from the lady in charge of the store on Danforth in Edmond OK during the morning of 6/26/2019, from the cashier who rang up my purchases, and from Hobby Lobby corporate (according to the lady in charge). Hobby Lobby engaged in a deceptive practice of displaying wall items around a sign declaring 50% off in large, bold, red letters with small print saying table-top items. So I bought an item thinking it was 50% off. Then the card reader was malfunctioning as I was paying for my purchase and the cashier was insistent it was my fault, when it was not. I mentioned it should be fixed when I was finished checking out. I realized that I did not get 50% off on the item, but the cashier did apply the weekly 40% off discount. When I brought this mistake to the attention of the lady in charge, she explained that it was for table top items and that I had bought a wall item. I said that was deceptive and she replied that several people had complained and even gone to corporate and Hobby Lobby would not change the display or the sign. She then stated that "I just work here and I can't do anything about corporate." Someone who is "just working here" should not be in charge, as they have no concern for the customer--or the corporation. This does not look well for Christ, considering Hobby Lobby is owned by Christians. read more

Hobby Lobby has been a new place that I have been frequenting to get everything to accomplish my new hobbies of playing with miniatures. They also have a coupon on the Geoqpons app that has 40% off any one item which helps when you are buying paints and brushes or other tools to help out with. read more

This hobby lobby is a nice one. It's always pretty clean and on there restocking days, which are Thursdays if you are looking for something they are out of they will go out of there way to see if they can find it through the boxes. Only thing is that most stuff from there I buy eventually breaks or needs to be fixed. I actually have three things I've bought in the passed month I've had to recreate/fix. I bought a furniture piece from them that was scratched on top. When I asked if they could give me a discount they said its going to scratch even if it didn't have any scratches... Which kinda ercked me. They ended up giving me 10%. Then when my husband was loading it the manager came out and said be sure to return it if u get home you don't like it, there's something wrong or it smells bad... Didn't quiet get the comment but it was a bit unprofessional coming from a manager. In the end I ended up having to change the handles on it bc the ones it came with were really flimsy and cheap. read more
