I picked up Anne Patchett's latest and a new historical novel about Anne Boleyn. (Both 20% off.) I also bought a staff recommendation and David Sedaris' new book of essays. I was interested in the Percy Jackson series, and it wasn't in the adventure or young adult area, it was actually tucked away literally in a corner of the children's area. The box set was more expensive than the Amazon price, so I asked if they did price matching, and they declined. It's a store policy to not do so with competitors, which I guess makes sense. So sadly we left empty-handed with an Amazon order on the way.
