You really can't go wrong with Hobby Lobby! They have a little bit of everything and I love this time of year with all of the Fall and Christmas decor. I came in the other day mostly to just wander around. This store was laid out well/easy to navigate and relatively clean. The staff I encountered were all friendly. Prices are more than fair in my opinion for all of the stuff they have. If something isn't on sale one week, it usually is within the next two! Will definitely be back in when it gets a little closer to the holidays for my decor needs. read more

I am not really a craft store/hobby store type of gal but my husband is this kind of guy. He LOVES this store! It has a very big selection. So much so in my opinion its a bit overwhelming. The staff was all extremely helpful though and easy to talk with and ask questions to. The lines at checkout went quickly. Here's the deal...every time I come here I find something I want! I rarely leave empty handed and they always have some kind of sale going on. I love the cool stuff they have here and the selection is great!! When I'm thinking about something new for my office, I come here! When I'm thinking about seasonal decorations, I come here! When I'm bored sometimes, I come here! The exception is...when it's Sunday and they are closed . I'm not a huge decorating kind of guy and I'm not big on seasonal stuff, but this is absolutely the best place for it and they do it so well. The service is great and the company always brings in fun stuff to explore. I'll keep coming back here! Also, my wife loves it here and spends more time here than me...easily! I was visiting from California and was interested in buying a remote controlled Electric powered truck . The staff was very knowledgeable and understood what I was looking for, I bought a Traxxas X MAX , 2 batteries and a charger, the newest version . This truck is ready to run, I charged the batteries and holy crap will the truck stand up on the back wheels and scoot. I've probably spent so much money here over the last two years. More than $5000 at least. I think their staff is friendly for the most part but since the corona I'm not thrilled at how things have been handled. I'm a higher risk case and I try to go early in the mornings, every time I go in, despite state mandate, I see at least 3 shoppers with no face masks on. Worse even, the staff when checking them out says nothing. It's hard to want to shop here when they're okay with putting you're life at risk. Disappointed. Avoid if at all possible. When pandemic numbers were higher, my friend picked up an order up for me, with the knowledge that it was on significant sale. At the register, they argued with my friend and said it wasn't on sale and charged full price. When I called to get the price corrected, they couldn't or wouldn't help, and corporate was the same. Understand, I wasn't going ANYWHERE unnecessarily (the purchase was for specific holiday gifts I couldn't find elsewhere). So I had to go in a store, when I literally hadn't been in a store in 18 months or so, to get this corrected. On the phone, the store staff told me I could use the product and only needed to bring the packaging and receipt in for the price correction within 30 or 60 days - whatever time limit. Not wanting to risk anything, I brought in the slightly used product, the packaging, and the receipt. They almost didn't give me money back, telling me they normally don't adjust prices if the product was opened. Ummm.... Not AT ALL what I was told on the phone. Also, the issue was their fault, not mine. I didn't like the store to begin with and now I have another reason why. read more

Hobby Lobby has a great, broad section of supplies--wonderful for multi-disciplinary artwork and "out-of-the-box" projects. I especially appreciate Hobby Lobby's selection when planning installation art-- I go there to find everything from balsa wood, to hanging wire, to bolts of colored plastic tablecloth material. Also, as an artist, I have really appreciated their framing department. They have helped me out many times with both traditional framing and with unusual requests (like cutting double thick museum mats, which require special tools that are used by-hand). read more

I was recently here looking for candle making supplies. Mostly fragrances and colorants. They had a few tools, some blocks of wax but nothing I was looking for. I love hobby lobby! It's my go to place for most of my craft needs! And since they expanded into the old Savers building, they have a nice selection of home decor and rows and rows of seasonal stuff! Christmas in July, spring and summer starting in Jan/Feb. Plus, I have never run into a mean or unfriendly worker. They are knowledgeable about where to find things and always willing to help you or walk you to the section to find what you need. read more

Whether it is seasonal decorating for my home, creating a spectacular wedding venue, framing original art, or designing one of the 19 show homes I have created for home builders in northern Colorado--it's all there.. The staff is super helpful, always pleasant and the inventory is EXTENSIVE in the mammoth Fort Collins store.
