I asked him/her three times NICELY to just unroll the whole bolt then measure it. It's quicker than rolling out one yard, measuring it, rolling out another yard, and measuring it, etc. I was buying all the fabric on the bolt. I had at least 8 other fabrics to purchase and it would take forever. He/she didn't understand, or didn't want to move it along. I asked another employee to help , then I asked if Hermes was new. Eddie went BALLISTIC, turned into a total fool recording and yelling at us that I was being rude. Trust an a-hole to hold up his phone and say "I'm recording this". I raised my voice once, then spoke in a calm tone while Eddie berated us. A woman who claimed to be the assistant manager came over shouting that she was going to call the police if we didn't leave. Didn't ask what's the problem, didn't try to diffuse the situation, just jumped in shouting. A-hole Eddie continued his tirade, shouting across the store. Eddie called someone named Amanda, told his lies and told us the manager wanted us to leave. I said "let me speak to her". He refused. He kept shouting that he was calling the police. They called the police. We did not leave until after I tried unsuccessfully to call Joanns corporate offices. In the interim, Eddie and the Asst Mgr continued with their shouting. A-hole Eddie said I was 72 and needed to act my age. I'm FAR from 72. Then claimed we were laughing, I don't know who at, but none of us was laughing. Claimed I was calling him names, a total lie! I did say "fuck this" to my (adult) daughter, and Eddie claimed I was cursing at him. Well, cry-baby Eddie needs to GROW UP and learn some MANNERS and customer service skills. His parents should be ashamed. I had my friend buy the one fabric we drove TWO HOURS to get and left the rest. I sat outside in my wheelchair and waited for the police. When the TWO police cars arrived, I explained the situation to one officer while the other went in to speak to the employees. I've worked ar a Joann fabrics, my daughters have all worked at a Joann fabric store. I have NEVER seen anything like these FOOLS in my LIFE. GO AHEAD AMANDA, PULL THE RECORDINGS. YOU WILL SEE THE TRUTH. Your employees are the most UNPROFESSIONAL SNOWFLAKES I HAVE EVER SEEN! Main aisles are blocked on the craft side, so accessibility is a problem. There were two employees who had the common sense to stay out of the fracas and do their jobs. Amanda needs to learn how to diffuse a situation rather than join in and instigate further. No "what's the problem " just shouting at us. The cashier and a petite female employee with grey hair were the only employees who minded their own business and acted professionally.. DON'T WORRY, I WILL NEVER ENTER THIS JOANNS AGAIN. You lost several hundred dollars in sales today.

There weren't many people in the store, but it was still hard to move around and get what I needed without being in someone's way. Their thread section isn't lacking in color or texture, and they have some very cool elastic I've never seen before, with ruffled edges.

Unfortunately, he responded in a way that felt dismissive and rude. When I made a light comment about a shirt color, he responded with a smart remark that came off as unprofessional. I understand that stocking can be a demanding task, but I believe all staff interacting with customers--whether directly or indirectly--should be courteous. His attitude made me feel like I was bothering him just for asking a question, which left a very negative impression. I enjoy shopping at this Target and usually have positive experiences, but this interaction was disappointing. The customer service was the perfect combination of asking whether I needed help and letting me browse and sniff as I love to do in Yankee Candle stores. The two candles that the one store clerk had picked out and put on hold for me were beautiful, and I bought a total of five candles in this visit. This store was very neat, organized, and well stocked, and it had a great selection of scents, including many that that I had not seen at other Yankee Candle outlet stores in the area (inventory differs among stores). Beware! The sales associates provide incorrect information to the customers! I bought a ton of…read morestuff (over $100) the day after Christmas from this Hallmark location. I've never had issues with this place until now, and I will certainly not be purchasing anything else from them in the future after this incident. The lady who rung me up at the counter informed me that I could return an item if it's defective or if I changed my mind. This is not the case. I brought in something to be returned that was incredibly overpriced and wasn't working properly. The store manager had such an attitude with me and said she couldn't take it back because it's seasonal. She pointed to the fine print on the receipt. I let her know that her employee told me different, and she said that she couldn't return it even if she wanted to because the system would not recognize the item. I realize that businesses are hurting, but this is not how you treat a loyal customer! My Mom and I have been shopping at this location for over twenty years and have dropped some serious change! The hours say this store closes at 10pm, and again we walked in at 9:29pm. I'm not sure what the issue was with one of the young ladies working during this shift but there was obviously no self-checkouts open (like usual as of lately) so unfortunately yes it means we had to let you check us out. But the female behind the counter who had what appeared to plaits or braids in her hair with a skully cap went behind the counter as we walked up but had her back to us and huffed and puffed several times to show her irritation that we came to the checkout counter. Then proceeded to continue doing so with her back turned to us, and as the customer (and yes I've worked in customer service retail before) I should not have to make an announcement to you that I'm standing here at the counter. As if her attitude and passive aggressiveness wasn't enough, she then proceeded to say, "So y'all just going to stand there and ain't gon say anything?" I just looked at her and gave her a look that showed I'm not entertaining her ignorance. Then she said, "Okay was that it? " and we said, "Yes." and of course she continues on with the attitude and then says, "Okay.... have a good night " after she rang us up. Again I wasn't going to dignify her ignorance with a response. But I am writing this review so management can know one of the young ladies that worked that current shift tonight needs to be reprimanded and she definitely needs to be retrained on what GOOD customer service is because that clearly was not it at all; I have definitely always experienced better customer service from other workers there during the day shift and the night shift, but this is the first time I experienced extreme rudeness from start to finish. Again I've worked in customer service and retail and I understand it can be a frustrating job and it could be long days for people, however if you're going to project your negative mood and attitude onto the customers then maybe that's not the job for you and don't show up to work. This is another reason I agree with what other customers have said about the self checkout lines; if customers they're going to have to be dealing with disrespect like that on a regular basis then the self checkout lines need to be open for us to check ourselves out in peace.

I went back to the store to exchange and the manager initially refused to return my money. My husband had attempted to give her the details but apparently wasn't clear. After a somewhat heated exchange the manager Ms. Matthews allowed an exchange which I was very grateful for considering I did not have my receipt only a copy of the exchange in my bank records. It was all good in the end. I will say, I won't buy any food from this location. I'm sure the bug or whatever it was slipped in through the manufacturing process. Also, the store is extremely dirty. It needs a good deep cleaning. Management will return your items at their discretion but seem to be reasonable and professional.
