I can say I swish this location offered more variety like other locations in the Virginia area that seem to offer more high end products. You can always find something you "need" at Target. It would be perfect if Costco would bring back the English crumpets they previously sold and served as samples. Otherwise, we can find organic fruit, quality meat and scrumptious baked goods and a great selection of vino. Our family would be over the moon if the crumpets returned and we could enjoy with Nutella! The plant department definitely deserves praise, from gorgeous hydrangeas to potted plants you can place on your doorstep over each season brings a smile.

The hours say this store closes at 10pm, and again we walked in at 9:29pm. I'm not sure what the issue was with one of the young ladies working during this shift but there was obviously no self-checkouts open (like usual as of lately) so unfortunately yes it means we had to let you check us out. But the female behind the counter who had what appeared to plaits or braids in her hair with a skully cap went behind the counter as we walked up but had her back to us and huffed and puffed several times to show her irritation that we came to the checkout counter. Then proceeded to continue doing so with her back turned to us, and as the customer (and yes I've worked in customer service retail before) I should not have to make an announcement to you that I'm standing here at the counter. As if her attitude and passive aggressiveness wasn't enough, she then proceeded to say, "So y'all just going to stand there and ain't gon say anything?" I just looked at her and gave her a look that showed I'm not entertaining her ignorance. Then she said, "Okay was that it? " and we said, "Yes." and of course she continues on with the attitude and then says, "Okay.... have a good night " after she rang us up. Again I wasn't going to dignify her ignorance with a response. But I am writing this review so management can know one of the young ladies that worked that current shift tonight needs to be reprimanded and she definitely needs to be retrained on what GOOD customer service is because that clearly was not it at all; I have definitely always experienced better customer service from other workers there during the day shift and the night shift, but this is the first time I experienced extreme rudeness from start to finish. Again I've worked in customer service and retail and I understand it can be a frustrating job and it could be long days for people, however if you're going to project your negative mood and attitude onto the customers then maybe that's not the job for you and don't show up to work. This is another reason I agree with what other customers have said about the self checkout lines; if customers they're going to have to be dealing with disrespect like that on a regular basis then the self checkout lines need to be open for us to check ourselves out in peace.

I went back to the store to exchange and the manager initially refused to return my money. My husband had attempted to give her the details but apparently wasn't clear. After a somewhat heated exchange the manager Ms. Matthews allowed an exchange which I was very grateful for considering I did not have my receipt only a copy of the exchange in my bank records. It was all good in the end. I will say, I won't buy any food from this location. I'm sure the bug or whatever it was slipped in through the manufacturing process. Also, the store is extremely dirty. It needs a good deep cleaning. Management will return your items at their discretion but seem to be reasonable and professional.

This day I stumbled upon their boys summer sale and purchased several items for my sons. I love the Sephora inside the kohls. They don't always have what I'm looking for but they have a lot of options to choose from. I appreciate the quality of the items I find. I feel the value matches the price! She was patient, kind, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. She worked hard to find a resolution and maintained a positive attitude and smile the entire time. I haven't been to Forman Mills since college (I'm not telling you how long ago that was. Mind your…read morebusiness... :). ) Back then, it was a great place to get cute, disposable clothes for cheap. It was basically lying Shein, before Shein was Shein. I didn't even know they were still around, but when I passed this one, I figured I'd stop and check it out. It certainly has the same minimalist look that I remember so well. Ahhhh...nostalgia. I was looking for a few lightweight tank tops and t-shirts for an upcoming vacation. Nothing fancy. Something colorful, breathable, lightweight, and disposable. I found a number of things that fit the bill, and even found items from a few brands I recognized, including New York and Company. I eventually headed towards the fitting room, only to find it blocked off with a sign saying it was temporarily closed. I had to chat with one of the cashiers and she told me that the fitting rooms are actually closed permanently. Since Forman Mills was bought by Shoppers World, they notified the employees that effective immediately, they were to permanently close both the fitting rooms and the restrooms. I don't know if this is because of rampant theft or what, there are massive signs hanging from the ceiling directing customers to both the fitting room and the restroom, and that neither of them are available to the public. And it's especially callous that only employees are allowed to use the restroom. There are more concerned about their inventory than they are about offering a common courtesy to customers. Fortunately, their return policy allows for returns within 30 days with the tags on in a receipt. So I was able to buy the items I was interested in, keep what worked, and return what didn't. Definitely not an ideal process and I could see how a lot of customers just wouldn't be bothered. Fortunately for them I had time that day. The cashiers themselves have no sense of urgency whatsoever. They also don't know how to prioritize time. After waiting in a short line for an exceedingly long period of time, I placed my items on the counter for checkout, only to find that the cashier has decided to move hangers to the rack and do some other things to tidy up her area after having us waiting for so long. The counter space was large enough that she did not need to do those things right away and she could have easily done them when the line died down. When I returned to the store to return the items I had purchased, the same cashier and another of colleagues were leaning against a piece of furniture behind the counter having a casual conversation while there were people waiting in line. There are people waiting to check out and these folks are looking right at them and continuing their conversation. Unacceptable. I walk over to the customer service line and get the nastiest look from someone who are later found out was one of the managers. She never acknowledge me never spoke, never said "Hey I'm helping another customer I'll be with you in a second". Just looked at me like I was ruining her day. After an impossibly long time, she finally acknowledged me with "What do you need?" I told her I'm here to make a return. She directed me to the next cash register over and was nasty and rude the entire time. I immediately reported that experience to management because someone who behaves that way should not be customer facing, and should definitely not be a manager. Aside from rude and unhelpful cashiers, I also hate how they damage the clothes Well inserting the tags. The original manufacturers put the tags under the arms or somewhere thicker that won't leave holes. However the staff here put them in the thinnest part of the garment, which leaves conspicuous holes. I don't know if they do this on purpose but it ruins a perfectly good garment. And regardless of how much we're paying for the garments, we deserve to receive them undamaged.

We were in a long line and were the next people when an attendant called that lane 5 was open for the next customer which were. We headed to the line and some lady who was just standing around the register pulling items off the rack next to the register. I watched her for about 5 minutes and she was just standing there like she was purposely waiting for that register to open. AS soon as the attendant opened the register she grabbed her cart and headed straight in. To me it was like she had been told that the register was going to be open. I hate to throw out the race card but it seemed to that this is what was going on. We took our cart and left it loaded in the center of the aisle and left the store.
