At hobnob, they are outside all day unless the weather is bad, and she is so active, social, and happy! The staff is amazing! We've been going there off and on for 7 years and the Manager has been the same the whole time which shows they must treat their employees well! My dog is slow to want to leave Hobnob! read more

We take our 2 Frenchies Gargy and Moose here and they have so much fun. The staff are THE BEST and are always so sweet and loving to our boys. I love how professional and focused on the pets they are. They really pay attention to our dogs. When our big boy was drooling (from heat), they immediately brought him in to observe him and kept in mind how delicate a brachycephalic boy can be. I appreciate how much they love my boys and always feel they are in safe hands. Also, we love that the turnover of staff is low. I can't say I am a big believer in doggie daycare. Of course sometimes you need to kennel your dog, but the whole daycare thing always seemed silly to me....well until I realized I needed doggy daycare. In short, we are selling a house and needed the dog to be elsewhere while prospective buyers, inspectors and appraiser traipse through for a month. So, I called Hobnob (after seeing it off Arapahoe after my many Pho Lee trips!). They set up a time that my dog could come and try it out (for free) and we could fill out their forms and get him all set. He seemed to have a great time, so we have been booking him all the time now whenever we think we have a workman coming or even if he gets a little cabin fever. They are all very warm and friendly, the facilities are clean and they have web cams for pet parents to see their fur family. Booking is a snap (online or on the phone) and best of all my dog seems to get excited when he realizes he gets to go to Hobnob! My only gripes are 1) They have the WORST driveway ever. It is incredibly steep and almost impossible to traverse when it is icy or snowy 2) You really can only get in if you are approaching from West bound Arapahoe Rd - really annoying and kind of a design flaw in my opinion. 3) I personally think $27 for full day of daycare is high (you can buy packages to reduce that daily rate). They are convenient and a nice spot, but it limits how much I will take my dog. Still, can say enough good things. They are a great spot for you doggies to get in some playtime. read more

Long time customer for the past almost eight years and now being forced to go elsewhere. This place has gone downhill fast over the past two years. It's quite unfortunate, because the outside staff seem to really love my dog. With the exception of a few, the customer service at this place is also nonexistent. They are either condescending, or won't speak back to you when spoken to. The unfortunate parts are they paint him as if he's a criminal because he watches over the yard, or gets over stimulated when the large amount of dogs crowd around him. I've received phone calls (not until the end of the day) about these issues expecting me to find a plan for him not to be a dog. Otherwise he'll be kept in a kennel all day. I have been waiting to write this review for a while. DO NOT SEND YOUR DOG HERE. Unprofessional. Unsafe. Not worth the possible outcome of injury to your dog. There were two disturbing instances we had here: 1. Our dog was left in an empty room for HOURS and I was watching him bark and jump all over the place to try to get out. I called and they said that he was in there to calm down. Called again and he still wasn't out. I had to leave work earlier to go get him because something didn't seem right. I blame HobNob solely for encouraging bad behavior by not attending to my dog's needs - this taught him to bark and jump incessantly when he feels trapped and still does it to this day. 2. We got a call one day that our german shepherd was injured "because he fell on another dog" but everything was ok, they just wanted us to know. We went to pick him up and he was on three legs crying his eyes out. With swelling that was visible to the eye. Conveniently, the cameras weren't working that day so we couldn't see the incident. Clearly something else happened. But long story short, he had 3 broken toes, torn ligaments and over $5k in vet bills, still walks with a limp and HE IS ONLY 3. We don't know what happened for sure to our dog here, but all we know is that he isn't the same dog he once was. He is nervous, anxious and that has caused a whole slew of other issues. SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND DOG AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more

We've mostly used Hobnob for overnight stays and have always been pleased with the experience. Tonight though, Josh went above and beyond. I called on our way back from the airport and said we'd be coming in right at 7 (when they close). I offered to prepaid so they could leave as soon as we picked up our dog. Don't take your dog here. Your dog will sit in a kennel all day without going outside because they don't have enough employees. Lots of dog fights. and when my dog finally got to go out he was constantly getting humped by other dogs and no one did anything about it. This will be my first and only review on Yelp. I had such a bad experience that I felt the need to create a account and share. My dog was attacked at Hobnob by another dog and was rushed to a vet. After talking with the store manager, they don't know what dog attacked my dog (even though they have cameras). After I refused to pay the vet bills, the manager (Kari) threatened to take me to court if I didn't pay the vet bill. Even though I signed a agreement on first day, I strongly feel they are negligent in their care and customer service was unacceptable. read more

My husband took our dog to Hobnobpet (DTC location) this morning. He was a normal healthy happy boy and he just picked up a swallowing, red, hyperventilating dog... We understand that allergic reactions happen, but we can't understand at all how no body notified if about the situation. To section off a dog off by himself because he was getting anxious and not check on him is unacceptable. His lip is three times the size, one of his eyes is barely open, he is red as h***, and has hives all over his body... They say "he wasn't like that 20 min ago" really? That's your answer, people from Hobnob!! We were happy about the place at the beginning, it looked nice and safe, but now, I definitely think management and communication procedures need to seriously improve. We do not recomend hobnob. Called Hobnob today to get info on doggie daycare for my 8 month mutt. Unfortunately it is their policy not to allow any dog that "possibly resembles a pitt". My pup is part pitt, shar-pei, and Great Dane... I think it is ridiculous that places have policies like this because they perpetuate the negative stereotype. Should be called HobSnob - unless you have an old dog that has zero energy they won't like your pup. This place has sensitive staff who are not trained or aware of young hyper dogs and how they play. They just like shamming you because your dog has energy and they are extremely unprofessional about it and lock your pup up in a room alone all day if they don't want to deal with them. I took my pup to another place and they love having her, they say she's the belle of the ball when I bring her. It's way more relaxed and they don't have uptight staff like HobSnob. I have taken my timid, eight pound pup to a few spots to have his nails trimmed and he cries and at one of those spots, he was literally screaming. I have taken this little guy to HobNob twice and one of the mindful girls holds him, while the other trims his nails. He doesn't cry or seem upset afterwards. Hobnob is the best place ever! All of the staff members are very welcoming and friendly! Dogs have so much fun there and are under close supervision 24/7. I wouldn't recommend bringing your dog here. There isn't nearly enough supervision and they are typically full because they aren't properly staffed. We had an incident with our dog recently where he was attacked by another dog while at daycare, and since he defended himself OUR dog was the one who ended up in trouble. The staff wouldn't call us back, allow us to review the cameras with them, or get any additional information. Once we finally were able to get some information (weeks later), they were rude and condescending. I would find another daycare for your dog. read more

Very friendly staff. My puppy loved it. He first did a trial daycare day and did great, while Molly gave a helpful report card. He then spent the night the following week and I was able to check in via the webcam. Indygo evaluated him that time and again, a helpful report card. Would absolutely recommend. I hate doing a bad reviews , this is actually my first time writing a bad review but I needed to share so I can help out any one else in the future. -We have actually had 2 Not so great experiences there. The first time was years ago when Hobnob first opened, we took our Danes there and they all got kennel cough. The two dogs I brought to hobnob came back and gave my third dog also kennel cough so I had to take all three dogs to the vet which was a $700 bill. As you can read most of these reviews are all very consistent and similar. I thought I would give this place a try a couple years later and bring my new sheepdog in. We took our Sheepdog to get groomed here for the first & last time. This is what I emailed to the owner" As you know we are not very happy and when I originally dropped him off I said I didn't want his haircut at all, my husband has grown up with old English sheepdogs his whole entire life and he has had them had a summer cut and never ever of the short. When the groomer looked at Tucker, she said he has madding, which he got groomed 4 weeks prior and has always had a grooming schedule. I'm actually a hairstylist and I own a hair salon for 13 years I know what Matting is and if I saw any visible matting on my dog I would've taken a pair scissors to it and cut it out but there was none. I told the groomer my husband will be pissed if you cut his coat she's like well we need to so I went outside to make a phone call to my husband before I let Tucker there and said to my husband they recommend trimming him down. My husband said " that was fine" Thinking trimming or shaving down to a summer cut leaving a few inches of hair and of course his beard and long face which is what you're supposed to keep on a sheepdog. When I picked him up the lady at the front desk before giving me Tucker said " I just want to warn you he is very short". I am new with Tucker so I was expecting the worst but when he came out I was in shock so I paid for the service ($120 plus a $10 tip) and went out to the parking lot to FaceTime my husband. I knew something was wrong and I again was like my husband's going to be pissed that's the first thing that came to my mind when I was checking out. Tucker Was depressed when I picked him, tail & ears down, he didn't even eat his lunch when he was at Hobnob and he never misses a meal, my other two dogs did not recognize him or freaked out when I brought him in the house and now Tucker has zero sun protection now , and no summer coat to cool him off while I'm the sun. it's now summer time he's got pink skin and a white coat which can be dangerous if he's left out in the sun too long. As a hairstylist and in customer service, I know mistakes happen, I also know there is nothing we can do to fix Tucker's hair, But maybe there is something you can do to help the situation out with us and keep us as a future client , Tucker & I do enjoy going there and the front desk is great. I just wanted to take this to your attention about the groomer and her skills on cutting certain coats etc. The front desk did say you contract out your groomers out and I would also like the name so I make sure I do not go to her again. " Tucker doesn't even look or act like himself since the cut. Heals nakes I'm sure. He's shaved to the skin, even the face which any "Certified Groomer" would know that you don't do that on this kind of hair. The manager called me back and gave me 65% back on my credit card I never got the name of the groomer so I don't know where else she will go work. The manager also said " it's our policy to shave them down, and I don't know where you come from but here we shave?"!!! I just want people to do research and get referrals and not just drop the dog off anywhere where people say that their dog is in good hands. I am giving them two stars because I'm glad the manager called me back and the front desk is very friendly but unfortunately I've had two bad experiences there so now I need to find a new place and giving me back only 65%, is the extra 35% worth losing a client that's going to spend more money in the future & maybe some bathing or doggy daycare sessions for complementary? read more

I'm terrified reading the reviews from fellow Yelp-ers. We have been taking our babies here for a long time, just taking them to swim. I kept thinking, how great to be able to get them some non-weight bearing exercise. Recently, our dog has been coughing. We ran him to the vet and it's diagnosed as bronchitis. After reading the posts on here, it's confirming our fear that he picked something up from this facility. The water in the pool was rarely ever, somewhat clear. I get it, dogs swim in it, but to me that means cleaning more often? There were two front desk staff that were WONDERFUL, so I hate saying this place is terrible.... But we went on a Friday once and who I think is in some sort of managerial position was VERY rude and lacked any kind of customer service skills. When it first opened everyone was eager for us to be there and try the pool, now it seems as though it's a hassle when we are there. It's safe to say, we won't be visiting again. Which really sucks because it was such a nice refuge from nasty creek water. read more

My dog really enjoys coming here and the staff are very helpful and nice. I knock a star off for a couple things: * seems a little pricey * very hard to get in and out of during rush hour traffic. You can only approach from 1 direction * their driveway is very steep and didn't get cleared during storms. Very hard to get back out to Arapahoe when you need to. read more

I recently moved to the Denver area and landed temporarily at a hotel near the DTC location of Hob Nob. It was really the only solution for daycare for my puppy, since I didn't want to leave her alone all day while I was at work, since she wasn't used to the area yet and she's still little. She is a very expressive puppy, both when she is happy and when she is unhappy. I could tell right away that they treated her well when, within days, she began to get excited when she saw us pulling into the parking lot of the center. She would rush into the building and run right up to the people there. Equally, when I would pick her up in the evening, she would greet me happily with her tail wagging, obviously a little tired for having played all day. She is a large breed dog (Saint Bernard) and shouldn't be playing too much, and the people there knew that and would allow her to be put up for extended nap times or just get an extra downtime in now and then, when she needed it. Also, she is going through a little bit of a phase right now where she is scared of her own shadow and while there were builders across the parking lot from the center making loud noises that spooked her, the people there knew enough to take her inside and keep her calm and relax her. They made sure that she was okay and well taken care of. She never *didn't* want to go back there, even with the loud builders. So, in summary, they took care of her and she liked them, which is good enough for me. I have since moved and won't be able to take her there as much anymore, but I will still use them for boarding. I have not used the boarding services here, but found out about their self-wash for dogs. For $15 it was perfect. They helped me lift my dog into/out of the tub since he didn't want to walk up the ladder. I liked that the soap was already mixed with the water, so you got the perfect dilution of soap/water. The place was very clean. The only thing missing was a brush - it would have been nice to have a brush for after the dog bath. But I'll easily go back. read more

I worked at this daycare, and I would not recommend taking your dog here. While most of the staff are nice and love dogs, the owner penny pinches and refuses to spend money to fix up the facility (turf is coming off all over and poles in the back continuously fall down, could definitely hurt a dog or person). The owner also makes arbitrary rules up constantly and doesn't listen to those who actually spend time with the dogs. The yards are fairly disgusting and they allow way too many dogs to come at once in order to make more money. I wish I could recommend hobnob but I wouldn't take my own dog there. read more

I have even called while out of town to check in and they were always very helpful, informative, and understanding. My wife and I love taking our dog, Luna, to Hobnob because of the care they take and love then give our dog. We are on a first name basis with the front desk, Megan (there are two Megan's) and Josh. I appreciate their friendliness and the care they take, for instance the gracious staff at Hobnob have donated jackets and coats for the dogs so that if an owner forgets to bring their dog's coat/jacket on a cold day, the pooch doesn't go cold. They cannot provide the services that are posted. They have told me numerous times that they cannot perform all of the services offered because they were: not trained, not prepared or under staffed. They were able to provide the absolute minimum level of care in some limited instances. 3. The pool had been shut down due to poor sanitation. Yikes!!! I boarded my healthy 3 year old dog at Hobnob DTC Location for 5 nights. I really had high hopes for Hobnob. This is a new facility and I paid top dollar for my dog to stay here. After, returning home, my dog was coughing/spitting up nonstop. I have high vet bill to pay on top of the top dollar I paid for my dog to stay there. I am very disappointed. I only gave second star because the staff members I spoke with during my dogs' stay were courteous. read more

I have never trusted anyone with my dogs as much as I trust the staff at Hobnob. They are always friendly, recognize me and my dogs by name, and my dogs absolutely LOVE THEM. They have such a great time at daycare (bonus points I can watch them from work over the live stream) and I have to physically drag them out the door they never want to leave. I also do grooming and board them overnight here and they provide so many awesome additional boarding options (beds, snacks, grooming, swimming, etc) and always communicate with me even when it's so much as that my dog didn't finish his food. Dropped the dog off for a 3 day weekend. The place is great, and dog loved it. I know this because they have these cool camera's so you can watch your pup. They have a pool if you want your dog to try swimming for 10 bucks extra. We did this option and now know our poodle doesn't like swimming. Building is a little hard to get in and out of besides that it's 5 star. read more

The place is nice enough and reasonably priced. But I took my dog there so she could have a chance to run around more instead of being stuck in my apartment all day. Instead she got sick. This was the end of March/beginning of April. We were in daycare on a Tuesday and by Thursday she was hacking. She had kennel cough. After a long weekend of her hacking, we went to the vet and I dropped 140 between the vet visit and antibiotics. I know the facility requires a shot record showing a Bordetella vaccine but someone's dog slipped through the cracks. As soon as my dog showed signs of being sick, I called to let them know. The lady I talked to said it was just that time of year and that they try to keep everything clean. I don't know if we will be going back anytime soon. read more

Took my ten month old Shichon to day care for the first time while away at a conference and I watched the live feed almost every hour. I realized come hour #4, that they didn't bring the small puppy section inside for a break from the sun. Being the middle of summer, I was extremely pissed off at this. I then realized once my sitter picked her up 8-9 hours later that she'd been outside ALL DAY. Completely unacceptable! Also, important to note if you have a small pup that they do very poorly managed transfers of large dogs into the small dog area back and forth. It was a shit show and I was worried about all the tiny breeds while watching these huge dogs run around in their space as they got transferred. I had no clue what I was watching on the video because it looked like a joke... My sitter notified me that my pup drank water for minutessss straight once she got into the car... She was obviously improperly hydrated and exhausted from the HOURS AND HOURS OF SUN EXPOSURE. Inattentive staff and overpopulated area. Please consider a better place to care for your pup all day. read more
