I had to get an Ayinger Dunkel and followed that up with a PBR, which gave me a nice happy buzz while we shopped around. Their weekly bar menu has a special for each day and the items range between $10-$12, which isn't bad at all. We didn't order any food but the food that was coming out looked great. Staff were friendly and efficient; I would definitely return again if I was ever back in Helen. One thing to note is this bar is not very big so it can fill up quick during festivals and on the weekend, they do have some tables out on the patio and I'm sure the party can expand out to the lot; regardless, Betty's Porch is a great little hangout spot in Helen and I recommend them.

If you're expecting a six-level parking garage with valet service, you've made several wrong turns. The staff immediately made us feel like we'd wandered into Papaw's store and the grandkids were helping out for the afternoon. Two young ladies were running the place, one at the register and one making sandwiches. They weren't reciting a corporate script or trying to upsell me a rewards program.
