Fresh and good. I have only eaten the cheesesteaks, but always good. I believe they use 8" rolls, but tasty and always good.

A hidden WOW in Walhalla! Absolutely delicious cheesesteak complete with onions, pepper, and very tasty cheese. On a great unseeded roll straight from the famous Amoroso bakery in Philly. Was in town on business and took two Customers to lunch. My "go to" place is Steph's Steak. Best Philly cheesesteak in South Carolina. The subs packed with juicy and delightfully flavored seatings, with added grilled mushrooms, onions, and mozzarella cheese. The crispy french fries are bonus. Service is always fast and correct. On our way back to Auburn, Al from Lake Toxaway NC, we stopped here for a late breakfast/ early lunch. What a great spot! We feel lucky to have come across this restaurant and cute downtown area. There was something for everyone... toddler had a grilled cheese and chips, picky 6 year old had just fries, preteen had a hot dog and chips, husband had a Philly cheesesteak and they were able to accommodate my Whole30 diet by leaving the bread and cheese out of my order and adding extra veggies. Had the pleasure of eating Steph's cheesesteaks today, my wife and I, and they were delicious! And what a cute, comfortable restaurant! We are both originally from Philly and can say that they are as close as you can come to accurate deliciousness. They even use Amorosso rolls from Conshohocken, PA for authenticity. Locals call it ("Conshi") anyway, Steph has been open only 6 Months but had a food truck making these steaks locally since 2012...go in and support her! We had a classic steak/grilled onions and tried a chicken hoagie, which has some cold ingredients on top on hot chicken and melted cheese...Ummm. Gulped down so quick forgot to take pics! read more

I'm a Philly Cheesesteak lover and so wanted this to be good....and it was! My only suggestion would be to change the onions which were way too strong. Tasted those onions for hours afterwards. A mild grilled onion would earn you a 5 on my scale. Otherwise, I probably won't be back. read more
