Dust and material left at the job site. Very poor caulking job. One big issue I had was the backsplash. At first we said we wanted one but changed our minds and told them. We even emailed them and told them we didn't want one. When they measured for the countertops, they told me the contractor said we wanted the backsplash. NOT true at all! The contractor is my brother and he said the only thing he said to them was "hi". Seems as if they are trying to sell you more but do less work. Fingers are crossed nothing happens to the counters, because I would hate to deal with Granite Works again.

I was told that the info was in Lexi's email and that Lexi was "on a well deserved vacation" and was off for her sons birthday. I asked when I should call back. The woman told me "like I said Monday the 31st" (FYI..she never said a date. Just said she was off). I called yesterday, November 3, giving Lexi some time to catch up after her vacation. She answered the phone and asked what I needed. So I went through the whole story. She told me she left me a voicemail (if she did, she left it on wrong number, I have no history of a missed call or of a voicemail from her). She told me the material is discontinued. I asked for the name of my product. She didn't want to look it up. But finally did. And I asked her for the company's phone number (I figured they might know where else I could get something like this or mill it for me...because she suggested they may), she said "you can Google it". I said, no, you can give it to me....she hung up on me. I did call back to talk to a manager and was sent to their normal voicemail. It was approximately 8k worth of hard wood that apparently she didn't want to sell me for some reason. I called the manufacturer and was told that in fact this was not discontinued, they re-mill it all of the time and that they have 8,000 square feet in their warehouse. I called 2 other vendors to check prices and "miracle" they found it and quoted me on the phone right then. So run away from this place. Do not use them.

Not just my annual service and pickup, but this year I hit a stick and the mower stopped working. I have a large area to mow and the grass grows tall and fast, so when I called in a panic because I was worried I'd get a ticket for tall grass, they came right away! Not only that, but they picked my tractor up at 8AM and brought it back at NOON the same day! They also troubleshot a problem I was having with the clevis on my cart bending and attached a new part in a different configuration so it would hopefully prevent any further issues. Jim and Don are the nicest guys and I always have pleasant conversations with them. It seems to honestly make them happy to give such great service and I am not exaggerating when I say they go above and beyond to make sure they can do all they can for you. Jim even said he'd have mown the lawn if he'd had the time today! I cannot recommend them enough and am so thankful the Kalamazoo location was too full to take me a couple of years ago, because paying a little extra for the pickup/dropoff to Plainwell isn't that much more and totally worth it! I am hoping to purchase a home generator at some point and this will be the business I call first!
