I was referred to Dr. Dorothy Pang by someone in a local Bay Area based Infertility and IVF group…read more My spouse and I have been getting treated for our fertility needs on/off for the past two years, and wanted to make sure we tried everything before plunging another big lump sum of money into another round of IVF. This included changing our diet, taking supplements, eliminating drinking alcohol, and reducing caffeine... and seeking eastern medicine (acupuncture + Chinese herbal medication). Dorothy is so accommodating and kind, and immediately pointed out discrepancies from both my and my husband's historical lab work that point to considerations our reproductive endocrinologist (RE) dismissed. She explained that I may not have an official diagnosis of PCOS but my body is "PCOS-y", and guess what? A month later, my doctor put me on medication for PCOS and labeled it as my diagnosis for infertility. Dorothy also identified my husband's results being on the lowest point of "normal" was still very problematic, and when we did more research, we found plenty to support Dorothy's concerns. Without her giving us advice along the way, we wouldn't have had as much success asking our RE questions and navigating this very stressful, scary, and confusing world. Dorothy also manages all of our insurance billing despite being out of network, which has taken one more stressful thing off our to-do list. Her initial estimate for out of pocket costs was pretty accurate. I can't recommend her enough for other couples who are facing infertility challenges.

She genuinely cares for him and is patient, loving, and attentive. We always feel that he is in great hands. She is also very efficient and productive, seamlessly balancing caring for the baby with cooking and cleaning the kitchen. She prepares nutritious postpartum meals tailored to my preferences and has been a tremendous help to our family. She is caring, patient, and dependable. We highly recommend her to any family looking for a wonderful nanny!

Overall we are happy with the service and care we received. We would rate it more like 4 to 4.5…read morestars and would use Auntie Yang and the service again. The reason for less than 5 stars is related to communication, some misunderstandings early on, expectations that were not fully communicated, and time needed for both the nanny and us to compromise and adjust to each others schedule. The misunderstandings could be related to us needing to find someone quickly as we were having a very rough postpartum experience and not everything was communicated along with a language barrier. Lisa also happened to be on vacation in Asia at the time so the time zone difference was a challenge. Lisa did make an effort to get back to us quickly and communicate our needs to Auntie Yang. If you hire a Postpartum nanny, please understand there will be an adjustment period the first few days and a difference with how you want your baby cared for vs what the nanny has been doing for years. This is more related to cultural differences and practices. In the end Auntie Yang helped get us through a difficult time, truly loved and cared for our baby and in many way become a part of our family.

The prices are well worth the service they provide. They have repeat customers with my wife and I! We've gifted gift certificates and recommended this place to our family and friends and they've loved it!

The massage therapist was visibly unhappy, pointed to the suggested tip paper by the register, and indicated that he needed more. The man working at the register supported him and told me I should add another $15. Having both men pressure me about my tip was extremely uncomfortable, embarrassing, unprofessional, and rude. I gave the additional $15 because I wanted to avoid a confrontation and leave as quickly as possible. I understand tipping etiquette and always expect to tip for a service, but a suggested tip should remain a suggestion. A customer should never be confronted or pressured into giving more. Unfortunately, this interaction overshadowed what had otherwise been a great massage, and I would not feel comfortable returning.

I told them to focus more on my back and sciatic area, which they did. First came in a woman to do the primary massage and hot stones therapy. Then Dr. Justin came in to do the cupping session at the end. Everything was quite the experience! They take very good care of you here and have some pretty affordable packages if you want consistent massages on the regular (with a Groupon). My favorite was the hot stones and pain relief oil. All of it felt sooooo good! The cupping experience was interesting. Parts of it felt uncomfortable but I tried to just bear through it. Then I had some cool red marks on my back :) they're supposed to fade away within the week. Highly recommend if you're looking for an amazing, quality massage.
