The worst massage ever!!! My feet had no problem before I got a foot massage from King massage. And now I have to deal with Achilles tendinitis for the rest of my life. The masseur Ying Zhang massaged my foot and she pressed so hard on the tendons near my heel. I felt uncomfortable but she stopped massaging the same area so I didn't think much of it until after the massage is done. It started hurting right after the massage and I thought I could just wait it out. I went back after a week because I couldn't handle the pain and they kept telling me it wasn't their fault. I realized I have to talk to them face to face to solve this problem. After an hour and a half waiting, I was finally able to talk with the owner on the store phone, but he refused to give any help and denied they did anything wrong. He did not care about my illness at all and all he wanted to do was rudely ask me if I remembered the exact date and exact time I came in, even the picture of the lady who did message me. I can't stop wondering the reason why he asked me all those questions, was to delete the camera evidence and make sure I did not have any proof that they did anything wrong??? Well, I'm helpless and all I can do is write down this review and warn everybody before they decide to check out this place. read more

I have been going here for over 5yrs, and this review is to owner/management for poor business practice. They will cancel your scheduled appointment (single service) 2-4hrs even though you made the reservation days in advance. This has happened multiple times before, because they don't want to turn away multiple services for your single service (more money for them). Forcing prepaid customers to pay extra for 1hr service, since they raised their prices after panademic. DO NOT sign up for the prepaid service, since they will not honor what you paid for and will attempt to charge you more after prices are raised. My original prepaid was for 1 full hour foot massage (including neck and back), without notice, I realize my service became 50mins instead and ONLY feet now (actual massage is 40-45mins & 5mins for soaking your feet). Plus I personally give 20-25% tips on top of what I already paid. The service by the massage therapist is great if you find the one you like, but I'm extremely unhappy with the owner and management for this recent practice which started in March when businesses started to reopen. read more

The business practice isn't fancy nor is it sound proof lol but that gave no excuse to Harry to perform an outstanding one hour foot massage. During my one hour, Harry equally applied a good amount of pressure the whole time. It's rare for me to find a masseuse who's passionate and dedicated to his work as Harry was at the value the business charges for their massages. Seemed like I was at a $$$ spa with his technique and professionalism. I'm giving this business a four star rating based on my experience, minus one star because of the background noise that was a little disruptive to my liking but overall a nice treat without hurting your pockets. I got a foot package with 15 min shoulder and back. The guy who did my leg for an hour was ok. He kept doing the same movements which started irritating my skin with the gloves. And when he worked on the back my spine felt so bruised the next day. My friend got the full body 1 hour massage. Said it sucked and was in so much pain the next day. I tipped 20 and then my friend tipped 10 they were rude about it and said "only $10? Your friend did $20" pretty rude. Update: I received a refund after requesting by email so a favorable outcome after all. Had a very bad full body 'therapeutic' massage that was done without oils but through a sheet covering me. The therapist was untrained and not at all professional. The first few minutes using his hands were ok but he then started to pummel my neck, shoulders and back with his elbows and forearms. I complained twice about the pain he was inflicting but he continued to do the same thing so I had to end the hour massage after 25 minutes, the last 10 minutes had been extremely uncomfortable. So I walked in and gave them a try. I think I must have gotten a trainee to work on me. She tried, but it felt pretty clear that she didn't know anything about pressure points. I've had better massages sitting on a chair at Sharper Image. One good thing about this place is that they concentrate on your feet more so than the rest of the body. One bad thing is that unlike other places that work on your face, neck and shoulder while you're soaking your feet, they leave you alone there to soak. Clean space. Comfy chairs. I tipped 15% of what the massage price was since I had no idea how it would go with the intent of tipping after too based on how good it would be. ummm.. I think it is really important to get the right person here. I've been here in the past and it was decent (I had a male masseuse). The most recent time, I had a relatively petite woman and it was terrible. There was no method to her massage - a little arm, and then a little back and then a little leg, and then maybe some ears... it was totally weird and unrelaxing. My first thought was ghetto but then I think CLEAN!!! =) Let me say I don't want to say my masseur's name on here b/c he might be too busy when I go back (yep I'll def be back. I totally said that as soon as he finished) BUT Ken is in the right business and deserves the business. Foot massage was nice.. I was experiencing cramps in my feet BEFORE I went in, and now the paws feel like they're light as a feather. Serious Bliss. $25/hour for a foot massage that also includes a back/shoulder massage in Millbrae? Yes. I tried a bunch of these places near San Diego last year and am glad to finally see them pop up all over the place in the Bay Area. We made an appointment after dinner last Thursday. We came in around 9 p.m. - kind of late but KIng Body and Foot closes at 11 p.m. There is plenty of street parking and it is hard to miss - it's on the corner across from Safeway. This is not a seedy place; the interior of this place is really calm and quiet. There are dark brown blinds and 8 recliner chairs in a big room. It's super relaxing. Another Yelper said that it was noisy because of the street traffic - but I only heard the bus 2 times - nothing really after that. The music they had playing was very soothing. They soak your feet first and they spend a majority of time on your feet. I wasn't able to get the name of the gentleman who massaged me but he definitely knew where I had problem spots (mainly my right shoulder). I am coming back for sure. For the service, price and the atmosphere - $25 (plus a $10 tip) is not a bad way to spend an hour. read more
