At the appointment: When it came time for the appointment, the technician (who was on time and fully communicative) went above and beyond in the best way. Not only did the technician answer my 100 questions and concerns about smart locks, but he also advised me my options with different locks throughout the property to balance safety and cost. I thought they would only replace the locks but they also were able to replace the doornobs, offering several appealing options in the style I wanted. They had a variety of options for locks too - regular door locks, deadbolts, and smart lock varieties. They even cleaned off the door all around the doornob because it was dirty and looked a little gross! My biggest joy has to be that they were able to use the same locks on multiple doors so we could use one key for all the doors, which is a lifesaver because I was startingbri appear as a janitor with so many keys, lol. After it was all done, they made me a bunch of copies of the key, which was helpful and honestly unexpected because I thought I'd have to go to Lowes after to do that myself given the million and one copies we needed for various family members. Vibes: it was such a seamless experience with an incredibly friendly, helpful, technician who treated my house with respect (eg no outside shoes inside) and was patient with my questions/concerns. Cost: Pricing was all competitive with other companies I considered. While the deadbolts worked perfectly, I soon realized the keys in the doorknobs were sticking and difficult to push in all the way. I reached out, and they sent a second technician (Christi) who took the time to resolve the issue. While it was a bit disappointing that the job wasn't completed the first time correctly, I am very pleased with the final result. I was especially impressed by their communication; they proactively called me in the morning to update me on a slight delay due to emergency calls. He said hmmm, let me just try different batteries first, sure enough the batteries I bought at Piggly Wiggly (Union Grove) were no good. He saved me $119 on a new fob by trying that even though I told him I just put new batteries in! Lost himself a sale for the fob but this is the reason I will continue to do business with him.
