This place has poor reviews but I've had nothing but good experience here…read more I do a lot of home improvement by myself but I don't like buying new expensive tools Lots of people pawn their tools here I've bought a drill, angle irons,Dremel, hedge trimmer, chain saw,and sander I've been very happy with those purchases. They let you try it out to make sure it work I also found a beautiful pair of diamond earrings. I paid 80$ and I've seen the sold for $299.00 real gold My favorite. I wer them almost every day They will take your name and phone number and call you if you are looking for something. I found a keurig coffee maker that way It's fun to stop in now an then to see what they have

I officially will never step foot in the store again. They base everything off of some defunct…read morelogic that isnt based in the actual value of items. I took a $400 laen mower to them that had been ran only a few times, essentially a "like-new" item in pristine condition, since i had left some items there years ago and my "history" wasnt good they offered to purchase it for $60 and would give me a loan on it for $35....what? I mean i understand your in the business of taking advantage of people with poor credit and life circumstances but at the pawn shops i have historically used if something is "like-new" and you ask for a loan for less than 30% of the original purchase price that is more than reasonable and it is what the local guys do in Gastonia, for example, after getting $60 loan offers from Cash America and the the other corporate lowballer National Pawn i drove the extra few minutes to my good friends at South Gastonia Gun and Pawn and had a resonable exchange regarding the mower based on its actual value and guess what, no problem at all to obtain a loan for $125 in about 10 minutes, i waited in line that long at cash america watching the manager and another employee discuss something rather than help the multiple people standing in line, customer service is outright lacking here. I would say if you like to be ignored and treated like you don't know the value of you item and be insulted then head on over. On the other hand if you want to be treated like the business you are trying patronize actual wants you there then go local, South Gastonia Gun/,Pawn and Bobby's Pawn shop are my two top choices and that is based on years of doing business with most in town at one point or another. Becuase at the end of the day, it doesnt matter how i dress or what i didnt pickup you still made money on five years ago. What matters is the current value of the item you have to offer, it's how all the local actual Pawn shops operate especially the two I mentioned above. So do me a favor, put it to the text if you have the time to waste obtaining the lowball offers first. Otherwise go where fairness is the norm and respect is reciprocated. Not to mention you can actually get a loan that you need not a 1/2 of tank of gas regardless of what the value of the item is.....OK I'm done, for good!!! $35 loan....very similar to the max loan of ,$120 ,on a Fender American Telecaster but I didn't have a history then...so I guess it's $500 ,item you get $60, $1000 item $120, and so on, seems very fair to no one! Good luck!
