The center is modern, clean, organized and has all the amenities. I came prepared with a clear bag but entry was still a breeze. Security does a great job pointing people in the direction of their seats and ensuring that stairways and hallways remain clear. In terms of food and drink, I was really impressed with the number of options. They have two full service food counters on either side of the arena. While I personally did not get anything, I saw people passing by with nachos and popcorn. If you want something a little more substantial Antones Poboys and Chick-fil-a were both set up for grab and go. They also had lots of alcoholic beverage options from tall boy beers, liquor for cocktails and even a spiked fresh lemonade stand. The arena has a fan shop onsite, some historical displays and a kid coloring zone. The game itself was well played (they won!) and executed from the announcer to the lights and entertainment. Great experience overall.

I like the large screens and how red everything is... you really feel the Cougar spirit here. During commencement season, UH does a good job of managing traffic in the garage and on the streets.

The stadium itself is about as fancy as they come. It honestly felt like something out of the movie Drumline. There is a massive amount of seating across multiple levels, plenty of concession stands, and parking options all around the venue. Parking is not free and can be expensive. I would recommend using Uber, Lyft, or a taxi if possible, since parking fills up quickly for events. During halftime, concession lines were long as expected, but they moved fairly fast. We had great seats and were able to see the fireworks clearly, which was a nice bonus. That said, the seating is fairly tight, so personal space can be limited. One important heads up is to be mindful of seat placement. The sun was beaming directly down on us, and it was extremely hot. Overall, visiting this stadium was an enjoyable experience, even for someone who does not care much for football.

The game was already started and minutes of the quarters was being missed. However we did have the proof of purchase tickets and we got access that way. Afterwards we were able to access the tickets, thanks to the assistance from my friend Daniel & team member. The online tickets process can definitely use some improvement. Very clean Stadium very very clean restrooms food choices were great they even have Trill burger here which is my young man's favorite. And they also stem camps that's linked with University of Houston as well as options for high school and middle school children to attend these games. Home of the…read moreHouston Astros and one of the most passionate fan bases in baseball, the energy hits you the moment you walk through the gates. My first impression was total sensory overload in the best possible way. Everywhere you look, there's Astros gear, vendors, and fans proudly decked out in orange and navy. The massive team store alone could keep you occupied for hours. With seating for more than 40,000 fans, the sheer size of the crowd was impressive. As an added bonus, the first 10,000 ticket holders received a free Carlos Correa bobblehead. This visit was part of a girls' weekend packed with fun, including an Astros game and even a bodybuilding competition. It made for a memorable mix of adventures. Food options go far beyond traditional ballpark fare like hot dogs and nachos. Fans can enjoy favorites such as Whataburger, Chick-fil-A, Pluckers, and Blue Bell Ice Cream from nearby Brenham, Texas. It also happened to be Barbie Day, and the Upper Concourse bar got into the spirit with themed drink specials. The Astros faced the Cleveland Guardians, and although the Guardians came away with the win, the game itself was only part of the total experience. Between the electric atmosphere, enthusiastic fans, and nonstop entertainment, Daikin Park delivered a fun and memorable day at the ballpark for our girls trip.

I rank ballparks on 4 categories: Architecture, Food, fan base, and what I call other. Architecture: On the outside, it's kind of blah but inside it has some charm. It has a retractable roof, but I have never seen the roof open which loses some appeal for me. I love the big window in left field and the train that runs from left to center. It was cooler when it was full of oranges though. Food: Solid. All of the standard foods and some crazy stuff. My buddies got a blooming onion that had burnt ends, cheese, sour cream and chives on top. They said it was great. I got brisket donuts which were not the best to me. Basically, breaded brisket shaped into a donut, deep fried and drizzled in bbq sauce. The beer selection was very good with Karbach and St Arnold, 2 local breweries each having a tap room on site. Fan Base: The place was full and the fans were all into the game. Lots of orange everywhere. Other: Close to all the downtown hotels, the convention center, lots of bars and restaurants including 3 breweries. Fun tip: get a 15.00 tab at Frost Town Brewing and get free parking for the game. Oh, and this place has more advertisements than NASCAR. The only place left they can put up an ad are the bases. " Altuve slides into second base brought to you by Imodium AD"

And I can honestly say it has been an amazing decision. I contemplated on going back because I wasn't sure if I would feel left behind with younger adults knowing more technology that I do. But one thing I have learned with this school is that they honestly care about the students. And they want you to succeed. The classes aren't extremely big and EVERY single professor is available to help you. The school itself isn't as expensive as other schools either. If you're considering going to college. I have been trying to get clear information about their aviation program for months, and the lack of communication and professionalism is disappointing. At this point, I honestly question how many of the positive reviews are from actual students, because my experience has been the complete opposite. I wanted to support an HBCU aviation program, but this kind of administration gives the school a terrible reputation. It makes prospective students feel like they are not a priority.
