I absolutely love this presentation and it had been over a decade since I've dined of such a restaurant. It was a 2-minute walk, so my wife and I made reservations and went there for dinner. We were seated immediately at a table which had a reserved sign on it. Service was good and we felt like we were taking good care of by our server as well as someone who appeared to be the manager. The filet mignon was absolutely awesome. It was prepared perfect for the lava stone presentation. A good sear on the outside and blue on the inside. Based on a couple of reviews I saw mentioning undercooked meat, it appears that people don't understand this type of dining. You are supposed to cook each individual slice of steak by putting it down on the hot lava stone, which comes out at 404 degrees C (hence the name). The steak includes three sauces, a garlic rosemary butter, a chimichurri, and the house sauce. All three were excellent, but my preferred method is to use some of the garlic butter to cook each piece of steak in and then dip in the chimichurri. My wife had the chicken penne pasta and she thoroughly enjoyed it. She also really enjoyed her Crossings wine as well. Based on Atlanta prices, I really can't complain much about their price point. For such a presentation I thought the steak price was quite reasonable as it comes with a side and salad. A piece of bread would have been nice, but not a deal-breaker. Our total bill before tax was $87, including two glasses of wine for my wife. Contrary to what I've seen on another review, there is plenty of parking within a 5-minute walk from the restaurant. We will be staying in Hogansville again this September and 404 C is definitely worth a repeat visit.

We stayed because we had planned on a special night out. It is currently 9:00pm and we do not have our food. We decided to leave and asked for a manager. We were told the manager is in the back and not available. We went to the hostess area and asked for a bill to pay for our salads. After waiting, we were told our food is in the window and we must take it to go. They boxed our food up without the included dessert and we left. It was the worst experience for $235.

The roast beef sandwiches were fine, and adding Arby's Sauce gave them good flavor. The Jamocha shakes were thick, exactly the way we like them! Service was pretty fast, making this a convenient stop along I-85.

Oh Sheila, while taking a round trip from Atlanta to Columbus I decided to wait and eat for the 2…read morehour drive back. GPS said 2 hours and 40 min so I pulled over to see what Arby's was hitting on. Surprise, surprise surprise.... Bathroom was overflowing with trash, I didn't know how to gauge it just yet so I washed my hands and said 'I am here now so run it.' I am in line, Sheila the manager was cordial and oh I forgot she did say Welcome to Arby's too so politeness is her motto. Now, I asked Sheila how are the steak bites, candidly as she was said 'if you like beef jerky' PASS... SO I stuck with the ol' chicken sandwich. The good part... Sheila didn't ask curly or crinkled so I went back, and she said no worries. 10 min later my food comes and I should've taken a picture but I was all in. Reluctantly I opened my sandwich after seeing my DARK BROWN never change the oil curly fries and what did I see, A DARK BROWN CHICKEN CUTLET. I was torn, should I take it back or take one for the roadsters.... Yep sure did, got back to the ATL and shook my head on how I should've waited for some real authentic food. Sheila, good customer service but the ONE MAN SHOW COOK, advise him to CHANGE THE OIL because dark BROWN charred chicken & curly fries isn't a hit.
