The food was disappointing. I really thought with all the good reviews I was set. The meat was overwhelmed with sauce. All I could taste was sauce. The sauce wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. I ordered a brisket sandwich. I was able to pull a small piece of meat out without sauce on it. It was dry and bland. Might be why they drench it with sauce. The fries were pretty good though! The girl at the counter was nice. There is no real service though. You order and sit. The rest is up to you. First time ordering wings from this establishment in years. I was somewhat disappointed. The wings were not cooked fresh and tasted as if they had been prepared a day prior. The establishment was very clean. The cashier was very friendly and greeted you with a smile on her face, except she needed not chew gum because this look unprofessional. What a great lunch! We stopped in at Grangers on our way from Atlanta to Auburn. We had the brisket sandwich and it came with a side of fries. We also ordered a side of fried pickles. The brisket was tender and melt in your mouth good. And the pickles were fried perfectly- with some crunch still in them! The interior of the restaurant was cheerfully decorated. The restroom was clean and well appointed. The family who owns and runs the business couldn't be any nicer. Next time you find yourself in LaGrange, Georgia, stop in at Grangers. Granger's hot wing is connected to a gas station. But don't let the outside fool you! They do have the cleanest restaurant and best wings. We ordered two combos, one wings combo and one burger combo. The menu has a lot more choices including blend(blizzard) to barbecue. Wings were just the ways I love, crunchy and flavorful. Burger was very generic, with breaded fries. Decent food, cheap prices! C'mon people! Review stuff already! The last review on Granger's in 2015?! No way! I went today after just tasting my moms wings- I'm not sure how many she got but I tasted about four different flavors- all good. This is after she got them home and they had been sitting for a while. Delish! So she tells me they have "the best BBQ sandwich" and I'm like WHhAT?! Yes! I was hungry and in a whim we both went to Granger's- her for the second time in one day. I got the combo with baked beans instead of French fries ( fries would have been cold by the time I got the food home) and I got an extra BBQ sandwich -- for later I love the wrapper the food came in first of all. Study stuff and great for take out which is essential with this place. Staff/ owners were super nice and talked to other customers by name. I like that small town feel. The sandwich: HUGE! And so good! I mean seriously. Well made and warm. It was perfect for a rainy night. Total was a little over 10 dollars for two sandwiches, baked beans and a drink. Granger's Hot Wings, has been one of the highlights of our trip; we found them through reviews and being foodies that love hometown food decided to check it out. This place is Superb! We were lucky enough to be attended to by the owner himself, we asked for the wings what was the most popular he said the Gold Rush but since they have mustard I could not have them, he then suggested the Honey Lemon Pepper and they were the best tasting wings I have ever had, sweet and tangy, crispy and delicious. My husband had the Brisket Sandwich Combo and it too was amazing, tender, savory and a good portion. We loved it so much we went back the next day, I had my wings again but with the coleslaw and hubby had the pull pork combo all just as wonderful as the day before, the pulled pork is mustard based and my husband loved it! I had to wait till my daughter quit working here to write a review. As a customer I do not like their wings but the boneless are good. The food's not bad but the prices have gotten too high and the wait can be very long. On a personal note, I can not support a business owned by people who disrespect my child. They expect her to watch their 3 year old while trying to do her job and yell at her if she tries to correct him. A 3 year old should not be in a restaurant all day everyday. This is a takeout only establishment. And they are no longer located on Moody Bridge Road, they are on Franklin Road across from Walmart. The wings are fantastic! There are about 20 flavors to try and of the 10 or so I've had there was only one that I wasn't fond of. And that's just because I'm a wimp and they were too hot. I've never had so much trouble trying to get some food. The order board was difficult to see so I asked if a menu was available. No was the response but she said there was a QR code at the table. I told her I tried that but no internet. I asked if they had Wi-Fi but was told it was just for some people. I found them on DoorDash so placed an order for pick up from our table. I then went to inquire if they would have lemon for my tea. She said the lemon could only be bought if I ordered fish. She then told me that because I ordered DoorDash that it would be packed to go. I told her that was ok as we wouldn't have to ask for anything to take with us. She then informed me that since I ordered from DoorDash that they quit seating in the dining room at 8:30 and the food probably would not be ready by then so we could not eat it here. Reggie once had the best wing place in town. Since he moved into the restaurant it's been horrible, he needs to fire the family members and hired experienced employees. Especially the teen that works the front counter, she is clueless. I was told 15 to 20 minute wait for wings after explaining I was in a hurry for my daughters play. She assured me no longer than 20 minutes; after waiting for 45 minutes I asked what was going on and I was simply given my money back with no explanation and that is unprofessional and unacceptable. On top of it all she shorted me $1 of my refund. I asked to speak to Reggie and he wouldn't take 2 minutes to talk to me. They had 5 people in the kitchen, a restaurant full of customers and zero food came out in an hours worth of time for anyone. As we are all waiting an hour for wings the teen continued to answer the phone and kept telling people that there was a 15 to 20 minute wait on food... Really?!?!?
