As a client with brain trauma, and physical disabilities, I was able to sort and purge a large storage with their expert assistance. They evolved their set up and flow around my physical and cognitive needs. They were phenomenal! I could not have done this without them. You get so much value from just one session. This included an initial zoom meeting at the beginning of the process so that Audra might be able to assess and prepare for the work that needs to be done. She also made sure that she was very clear on what my goals and expectations were in terms of their work. That was important to me and makes a huge difference in any business contract. The "Pretty Neat" organizers were patient and easy to talk to. They were very open minded, kind, and I felt very comfortable with them. Unlike other organizers who claim to help you organize and utilize space, Audra and her team NEVER ever told me "this needs to go," or "you have too much of this or that and you need to get rid of things." Not once did I hear these things. Instead, they would say, "we have several of these. What would you like to do?" They gave me tips for letting specific items go and tips for which items I should keep. They even organized my pantry making it so much easier for me to find my can goods, cleaning supplies, and other miscellaneous items. They made it so easy by picking out the items they could tell that I liked A LOT and discerning the unwanted and unused items! It meant so much to me. They came with bins and other tools needed to help me stay organized and not just that, but that I am able to sustain the hard work they completed. If you need help organizing a room or your whole home, Pretty Neat is your company! They had a great eye for how to how to utilize space, particularly if you like and have an overwhelming number of items in your collection (i.e., for me it ws 100's of tee-shirts, make-up, shoes, purses and the list goes on). My apartment is only 900 square feet but they took all of the things I had an overabundance in and creatively figured out a way that I could retain all those items yet make the space look a lot larger than it is. They hauled away bags and bins of donations which was also a huge relief. They acted like it my home was their home and took great pride in it. Since I have 2 young children ages 10 and 6, each organizer, using their experiences as moms, could offer suggestions on how to keep my kids' room organized and as a result a miracle happened; my kids now love their room and spend more time in there than they ever have. I am ecstatic with the finished product. I was overwhelmed with my "stuff" after moving to a new apartment. My apartments was close to a scene from "Hoarders," seriously. The office, closets, and bedrooms all became a vast dumping ground. It was a mess! I was embarrassed to hire Audra at first given that I hold a very prestigious job and reputation. I didn't want anyone to see the clutter and chaos and my hoarding tendencies but from the moment she and Bethany arrived the first day, I felt comfortable, empowered, and confident that they were up to the job. Their suggestions, ideas, and inspiration were remarkable. I felt like I was on a healing adventure, enjoying every step of the process. They helped me focus my attention on the task at hand -- sorting things into "keep", "donate", and "trash." They broke the job into other small doable parts as well; buying the bins, using a label maker for the bins, organizing the chaos into categories, hauling the donated items, and teaching me how to use my space and find an organized spot for everything that I had. Audra and her team completely rethought where items should go so that me and my kids would have resources that would help us to be efficient and quickly put things away. Pretty Neat is a professional business but one that is extremely was friendly, warm, and very flexible with her time. I highly recommend Pretty Neat to anyone who is looking for help with getting organized! With the demanding life I lead teaching, conducting research and meeting service standards, along with raising small children, I am not surprised that I needed help. I cannot say enough good things about "Pretty Neat" and all the ways they blessed my heart. I even cried when they finished the tasks. With their help, my new apartment, finally feels like "home" again. I'd give them more stars in this rating if I could.

    I reached out to Catherine after having recently moved into our new home. We'd been set up and…read morepretty organized, but our closet and dresser were split up in ways that didn't flow like we wanted them to, and I knew we could do better with using the closet space efficiently. Catherine came by to do an in person assessment, and she wore a mask, which we loved given everything going on. She and I quickly brainstormed some potential solutions, and she asked me all the right questions in terms of what we needed for our space to be more functional. I liked her so much, that I had her take a look at our very small pantry. I am a big cook and baker, and the pantry would look great at the start of the week and quickly start to overflow. She told me that the shelves were more than double the standard depth, making it easy for things to just get swallowed up in there. She was able to fit us in the very next week, and brought with her another very sweet and professional assistant. Catherine and her assistant had done their prep homework and brought with them some things from The Container Store they knew would help us with our spaces -- she had even asked me ahead of time if I would feel comfortable with them purchasing a few items. I appreciated how detail oriented they were for what is likely a smaller scale project for them! They had everything completed within the predicted timeframe, and were so quiet, neat, and asked me a few questions along the way. They also used the organization bins and baskets we already had when it made sense to, and reworked our whole pantry system. Our closet and pantry make so much more sense now and are easy to keep organized, which is another huge success. Talked to Matt...he had a gemologist that did an actual appraisal of the jewelry's worth. After telling me the amount I could hope to get and getting my approval, he sold it (and quickly!) for even MORE than the appraised value! I was tickled pink. Seriously, go to one of the sales. It's amazing. His staff is friendly, attentive and professional. And if you are looking for a well run, well attended estate sale to manage the disposition of your own "stuff", McNeil's should be the first call you make.

    I've gone to many, many estate sales hosted by Swan, mostly in-person but I've also bid on items in…read moreonline auctions hosted by them, over the past few years. So to say I've spent *thousands* of dollars in Swan estate sales and auctions is not an exaggeration. Today they had a sale with some boxes of baseball cards. Of the nine boxes of cards I grabbed, five boxes had *two* stickers that said they were $10. Four had $20 stickers. I asked for a ticket of sale and the man said they were all $20 each. I showed him a box that had two (*two*) $10 stickers on it and he said it was $20 and the stickers were wrong. I put down all nine boxes and told the guy he should remove the stickers that contradict the price he's telling people. He said, "yeah." And started removing the $10 stickers from the boxes that weren't $20. Long story short, Swan does not honor their own stickered prices and will not be getting another cent from this once faithful customer.
