He was stuck Union Station with 0-degree temperatures and few resources at his disposable. After hous of looking, I was finally able to find a place where he could stay.... HI CHACAGO! I booked this place online and contacted the property. I spoke with Sharrod who was absolutely amazing assisting thru the process! He was super informative, kind, and professional. He explained everything and helped every step of the way. Sharrod is an absolute GEM And Hi Chicago is lucky to have him! The property itself was clean, well maintained and the room Rob stayed in was very nice! Pricing was probably the best you'll find at a place in Downtown Chicago. There is a community space on the second floor equipped with everything one needs while staying - from pots and pans to plates and everything in between! The location has multiple activities - ping pong, pool, tvs, board games, etc. FANTASTIC PROPERTY! And best of all, the greatest team! Thanks, Sharrod! Try this place, you won't regret it!

Never in a million years did I think I'd stay in a hostel, but Chicago hotel prices were absolutely…read moreunhinged for my trip -- like $500 a night unhinged. So here we are. The hostel itself wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined. I stayed in a 4-bed female room, and honestly barely saw the other girls, though I knew they were there. The beds have privacy covers, no one snored, no weird smells -- so points for that. We shared a bathroom with another 4-bed suite, which meant one toilet and one shower total. Not ideal, but it wasn't disastrous either. But dorm life ain't for me at this big age. Coming back late at night was a little annoying because you have to be quiet, and the location is slightly off the beaten path. Walking down Ida B. Wells late made me a bit nervous, but you do need to scan your card to get in after certain hours, which helped me feel safer once I made it inside. Breakfast was...there. Nothing to write home about, but at least it's offered. The general common areas are decent -- TVs, couches, game tables -- but they can get noisy. There were also a lot of kids staying while I was there, which made it hard to take work calls during the first couple of days. Overall, it wasn't as terrible as I expected... but the more I write this, the more I'm like: girl, just pay the $500/night next time for peace and sanity. Would I stay again? Only if hotel prices are once again trying to rob me blind.

I recently stayed at the Sheridan Hotel in Chicago and overall had a very pleasant experience. From…read morethe moment I arrived, the front desk staff stood out they were extremely friendly, welcoming, and full of great recommendations for places to eat around the city. That level of hospitality really set the tone for my stay. My room was on the 27th floor, and the view was absolutely amazing. I had a beautiful view of the river, and seeing Trump Tower both during the day and lit up at night was a highlight. The room itself was very comfortable the bed was soft with just the right amount of firmness, and there were plenty of pillows to choose from. I also appreciated the bathroom amenities. The lotion smelled amazing (more on the masculine side, which I liked), and the bathtub was spacious. They provided body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, which was convenient. The hotel offers some great perks too. I liked that they allow you to store your luggage after checkout so you can still enjoy the city. There's also a Starbucks on-site, and the location is very convenient close to shops and things to do. I also felt very safe since you need a key card to access your floor via the elevator. That said, there were a few downsides. The TV had an issue late at night and kept showing an error code, and the air conditioning unit was a bit loud. The food provided during our conference was unfortunately very bland and lacked flavor. Housekeeping could also improve there was hair left in the bathtub from a previous guest, and it didn't seem like the floors were thoroughly vacuumed. Additionally, there was a noticeable mildew smell in the hallway, and fans were running constantly, likely to help with that. Despite those issues, the staff's kindness and the overall comfort of the stay really stood out. I would still rate this hotel highly and would consider staying here again.

Parking is terrible on the street so you will have to garage it or valet for $35 a day where they leave it at front. Lots of help staff inside and outside. The bathrooms and premises are clean and for events the staff work very hard and are really nice. The food at the Sheraton kitchen was amazing. The braised short rib was really really fresh and well Cooked and tender and juicy and quality meat. The salad and dessert was also very good. The flowers were perfectly arranged and lively.

The hotel is beautiful. The beds and pillows were like sleeping on a cloud. If you like pillowy soft beds, you'll love it. If you need a firm bed, these beds aren't for you. The bathrooms are quite large. With a roomy shower and a separate large tub, it was nice. My single only complaint (and it's a big one) is that the only air output we had was warm. Yes, I could have complained at the front desk and I'm sure they would have taken care of us, but I'd already unpacked and put away all of my clothes. It was 10pm and I was feeling way too lazy, so I just sweated all night :/ Parking is $85 a night with free in/out privileges if you have your car with you. You can also choose several nearby parking garages if you want to save $20-30 bucks. I'd return. I liked the hotel and the location. I'm guessing that my stuffy room was just a one-off. It's located so nicely and the hotel beautiful, that I'd still recommend

Love that they have bathtubs in all of their rooms and the lighting in the bathroom was perfect (for makeup application lol). Recommend Sofitel for anyone visiting Chicago!
