Its a personal choice to take a cab; maybe its also a choice if you have a phone can can't downlead an app. Lately when I have been in a cab it feels like the cab driver has a fried curry sandwhich and has not showered in a few days. These same people will tell you right away business is slow. I stepped into one of these cabs last week and the guy driving was from Jamaica. I myself eat alot of jerk chicken that I make myself but I dont know where to find the "jerk Chicken BO" cologne that this guy had. It was horrendous. I needed a shower right after. This sounds kind of extreme i know. But if you are a taxi driver please shower at least once or 2 times a day, try not to eat things that are soo spicy that it leaks from ever pore in your body, maybe clean the car once a week, and then once your car is clean and you dont wreak of last Sunday's chicken vindaloo that was overspiced with cayenne pepper and paprika then start to pick up passengers. This is a problem that plagues most cabs I have taken lately.

He started the meter. The cab was stuffy and no a/c on a hot summer night. It smelled musty. We hopped on the expressway and as my exit was coming up I told him because he was in the middle lane. He said he knew and drove past it anyway. He drove down a smaller street which added unnecessary time to my ride. I was disappointed and just didn't say anything else. It was now out of my control and I decided his tip was going to be affected. When I finally got home and was paying I realized I couldn't decide my tip and the lowest amount I could select was 20%. Never again. I felt unsafe and taken advantage of because I am a woman out at night. This was a horrible experience!
