This location has the worst customer service. They don't answer the phone to place an order or even ask a question. When ordering through a delivery app they don't have all the options (like onion rings). Even with notes that we will pay at pickup the difference they still won't make them telling you for that you need to call in, yet THEY DON'T answer the phone. This isn't my first time trying to address this with the store and the delivery app. It would be nice if there was a way to actually contact someone above the useless management at the store. read more

Visited recently while in the area. Hadn't been for some years and the place looks the same! If you're a sports fan, you're going to love the big screens and the amount of tv's around. There are some booths to sit at and some long picnic tables to sit at. We ordered some wings. Barbecue and they were ok. Nothing out of this world. I prefer the dry rub and it was saturated with bbq sauce. Great if you like barbecue! Also ordered the blackened mahi mahi sandwich and I gotta say that it was too salty for my taste. I don't like when the salt is too strong and makes the food salty! If you have high cholesterol, then look out! The service was ok. Just a dude brining us our food cause he has to, lol. I stopped by Hole in the Wall Restaurant because it's right next to a spot I really like, Arcade Odyssey. I'm rating this place for what it is--a quick, no-frills bite at a fairly economical price point. It's not a 5-star luxury experience or a Michelin restaurant, so my expectations were grounded. The Bad: * The conch fritters were some of the worst I've had. There was very little meat, and as someone who grew up eating conch fritters, I was really disappointed. This was the only thing we didn't finish. I'm a big guy, and it's extremely rare for me to leave food, but after two fritters, I gave up. * The brisket was...odd? It was shaved razor thin, which was unusual, and while the flavor was okay, it didn't hit the mark. It was more like a cross between jerky and super dry, thin brisket--really hard to describe, but not what I expected. The Average: * The chicken fingers were good. Not great, not bad, but exactly what you'd expect--deep-fried chicken fingers. The Good: * The Texas toast that came with the brisket was a winner. Buttery, crunchy, and downright delightful--my girlfriend and I both agreed on that. * The blackened fish sandwich was solid. Nothing fancy, just simple, no-frills, and a great high-protein option. * The fries were absolutely addictive. They were crispy, flavorful, and so good I kind of wish they weren't because we couldn't stop eating them. Surprisingly, they paired perfectly with the sauce that came with the conch fritters--I ate more of the sauce than the fritters themselves. Final Thoughts: It was an okay meal overall, and I do think it's a decent value for your money. That said, the food didn't win me over, and I wouldn't go back. Wow these fries are soooo good!! I couldn't believe I ended up eating most of them! I had to order an extra side because I left so little for my date lol. I have driven by here so many times and heard ppl talk about this place - don't let the name deter you! The food is really good! The portions are big too. Delightful sports grill with just the food you want. Wings are great; the 8 oz hamburger is a winner and they cooked it just the way my wife wanted it. Fish sandwich was nicely blackened and a good size. Jess and the other servers we have had on our visits here are warm and professional. And today I discovered the walk up Cuban cafeteria with Cafe Cubano and probably the best pastelitos , home made, in town. And one of my friends says their Mahi Mahi Rueben is over the top. Other than that, the service & food were pretty good. We came on Tuesday and they had a taco Tuesday special. If you get a drink, it's $1 tacos. One of our friends got this deal and the tacos were okay. We got a bunch of other things off the menu: BBQ burger, mushroom burger, onion rings, tater tots, burnt ends, and a hot dog. I was driving by and decided to stop and grab something to eat for lunch. It had been a long time since I had returned to the restaurant, I sat at the bar and ordered a draft Stella Artois and was handed a menu, so far so good. The server walked away and never came back having a more important things to discuss with the back of the house were she sat on one of the beverages cooler and ignored completely to come back and take the order. My favorites are the pulled pork sandwich and the blackened chicken sandwich. But don't forget the fries which are probably my favorite from any restaurant. All the food is seasoned perfectly and the portions are excellent. This is a great spot for casual lunch or dinner. Although keep in mind it can get pretty packed I. There (for good reason). the service here was great super quick and to do the point. For starters we had the onion rings, which were good but i wish the portion was little larger. We ordered the mahi sandwich, burnt ends, ribs and pulled pork sliders. From the reviews I was worried it wouldn't be spacious but was pleasantly surprised. The spot doesn't seem like a barbecue place from the outside but definitely has a sports bar feel inside with a good amount of seating. All orders came with sides. The mahi sandwich came with chips and i'm not a fish person but heard it was good. The ribs were for sure charred also good and super smokey. The pulled pork was juicy and had to be the best pork ever. The sauce was interesting i found it to be a little vinegary. The problem I had was it felt like there was more bread of the sliders than meat. The burnt ends were definitely burnt but still juicy and tasty on the inside. I go here often on my lunch break. They have really solid BBQ, I love their burnt ends and onion rings. We had 6 wings, the Hole burger, BBQ burger, chicken fingers and drinks. The service was great, the wings were awesome, burgers cooked to order and the beer was cold. The staff was polite and friendly, food came out fast. It wasn't full about 5 empty tables, but it was when we left. I'll go back on a full day. Then I'll move them up to the all mighty star of all stars the YELP 5 star if their performance is the same as this last visit. Overall great job and a hell of an improvement.
