My husband, son and I recently visited Sports Grill at the Sunset location, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from start to finish. Our server, Emily, seemed distracted throughout our visit. I ordered jalapeños to go with the nachos but she brought me a glass of wine instead. Mistakes happen, but it set the tone for the rest of the meal. We also ordered the loaded nachos, and when they arrived, we were not given the small plates needed to share them. We spent time trying to get our server's attention while she appeared to be engaged in conversations with other employees. The biggest issue was with our wings. My husband and I planned to split a 10-piece order, but when they arrived, they were noticeably overcooked and burnt. We sent them back, and when the replacement order arrived, there were only 9 wings instead of the 10 we had paid for. At that point, it felt like one issue after another. We understand that restaurants can have busy days, but the combination of incorrect drinks, inattentive service, missing items, and food quality issues made for a frustrating experience. We have enjoyed Sports Grill in the past, which made this visit especially disappointing. We hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both service and quality control. I have never been here before and I didn't even know it existed until my fiancé brought me here for lunch the other day. The food was delicious and filling and the service was great. I had the shrimp po boy with loaded tater tots and my fiancé had chicken wings with plain tater tots. I even ordered the fried oreos to go. Stopped in for a quick bite and a beer with my husband as we waited for our kid who was out shopping with a friend down the street. As we entered, there were seats at the bar. They had the college football games on which we always love to watch. We had some cold draft beers, and our appetizer were the conch fritters. Not my most favorite. But for our next items we had boneless wings as well as special grilled wings. My husband had never had the special grilled wings and he loved them such great flavor. I love that their boneless wings are actually like wings without a bone so it has a mix of dark meat. Those were definitely delicious and so bountiful that we were able to take them home. We have been ordering Boneless chicken wings here for quite a while, and in the past they have been consistently good, but it has switched to being consistently bad. The wings have been super dry and tough as jerky to two so they have not been very tasty or soft. Like they used to be and this is been consistently the Same quality since it turned bad, so need us to say we will not be returning because we had complained once and we even told him when we face the order to make sure that they didn't overcook them or give us dry wings and they still gave us dry wings so bye bye ! read more

Was super excited to come here with my boyfriend since he raved about the food. We came in at night and ordered our food. Food was dropped off and was wrong. Our server took 15 minutes to touch our table while walking around and ignoring us. We told her our order was wrong and just blamed the kitchen instead of correcting it or giving us a new order. However, the experience was negatively affected by the person assisting her, who brought the plates to our table. At first, I thought she was the waitress. She approached without greeting us and placed plates on the table that were in unacceptable condition, covered in tomato sauce, with the plate underneath extremely dirty, and the forks were also very dirty. I pointed out that the plate was dirty. She took the plates without looking at me, without saying a word, and without apologizing, as if this were normal. In addition to that, I had to tolerate the situation and the lack of basic courtesy. I chose not to say anything further at the moment because my daughter was very excited to celebrate her birthday there, but this experience left me with a very poor impression. It honestly felt like the plates and utensils are not properly washed, and the staff member's attitude made it seem like this lack of hygiene is normal at your establishment. I'm a big Sports grill fan and I live near Sunset which is convenient, however this is my least favorite Sports Grill. The service was not the best and food orders were missed not mention that some of thr wings came out cold. I just didn't expect the difference of quality between this and the other restaurants. I get my meal, see two employees just standing around that could've ran my meal out to me but ok, get home, and the order was incorrect. Extremely Disappointed with the Service I've been a regular customer at this place, often bringing friends and family, but my recent experience with a waitress named Milly was unacceptable and disappointing enough to make me reconsider ever returning. From the start, Milly was incredibly rude and dismissive. When I asked about happy hour, instead of simply letting me know it starts at 9, she gave attitude and acted like it was a hassle to even answer. She told me, "You can't order anything you're gonna have to wait," in a very blunt tone. While placing our order, one of my friends wanted to remove some toppings, and Milly rudely told us she had already put in the order and couldn't make changes even though we were all still mid-order. When I asked for more sauce, she refused and walked away. I also asked for plates and utensils, and she told me we'd get them when the food came out except the food did come out, and no utensils or plates were provided. I had to go inside myself just to get basic dining essentials. To top it off, when it was time to pay, I clearly stated three times that we wanted to split the bill. As soon as I handed over the first card, Milly charged the entire bill to it. When I brought it up, she claimed saying she fixed it yet my friend still has the full charge pending on their card. If this isn't resolved by tomorrow, I will escalate the issue. After charging the card, Milly walked away without a word no receipt, no thank you, nothing. It's frustrating that one person's behavior can tarnish the experience at a place I used to enjoy. But if this is how they treat loyal customers, I'll happily take my business elsewhere. read more

C'mon now everyone who loves wings has to know that this is the original wing king. Growing up in Kendall when you wanted the best wings you came here. Now they have other great things on the menu like waffle fries with cheese sauce, nachos, philly cheesesteaks ,burgers, hotdogs, mozzarella sticks...you get the point. But this spot is world famous for their wings, especially the special grilled flavor. It is all that and then some. I usually like to dip my wings in ranch sauce but these wings come so seasoned and grilled to such perfection nothing else is needed but do what you like. There are other great wing flavors to try too but please try the specialized wings first, they'll win your heart trust me and then feel free to dip always in hot sauce, bbq, ranch, bleu cheese....whatever floats your boat. On certain days they have drink specials if you want drinks and eats. Decor inside is definitely bar divey and friendly AF atmosphere. For good food, best wings, and best service you come here. THE MIAMI CLASSIC: SPORTS GRILL ON SUNSET. I am happy to say I came back to this location and it hasn't changed. Still the same delicious wings and fries. Not to mention the great staff and cold beer :) We came and sat anywhere. Our server came right away and took our order. We got the nachos as an appetizer. Nachos were great! FULL of ground beef. My only complaint is that it didn't have tomatoes and other veggies but it was FULL of meat and you really can't beat that. Now the star of the restaurant: the wings. So they added two new flavors: Lemon pepper and blueberry dale. Wow. What an amazing addition to their flavors. The lemon pepper is tasty and savory while the blueberry dale is sweet and has an amazing depth of flavoring. Both outstanding flavors to add to their menu. My only complaint is that I think they have raised their wing prices which kinda sucks. I guess it will force me to go when they have deals. (Thank you Christine for clarifying the pricing, that's horrible but I wouldn't change the wings either!) We ate all of our food FAST and I was happy to be back to my old chilling stomping grounds. Honestly, Sports Grill is like no other. This is the location I go to the most and the neighborhood feel is great. There are TVs everywhere to catch your favorite games and the staff is willing to change the channels for you when asked (we asked for a Panthers game recently). Food comes out quick and my absolute favorite are the special grilled wings! Also, can't forget the waffle fries with a side of cheese. They have plenty of cold beer options and now cocktails too!
