Don't recommend coming in at 9 or later. They didn't have the chicken breast I usually get so I got this fried chicken with rice, beans, and fries. The chicken is clearly burned on the outside and it tastes horrible. Do not recommend. I also don't recommend you to get the cut chicken pieces too since in the photo on the menu you see it's doesn't have any sauce but when they serve it to me it has this horrid sauce. So the wife and I decided to give it another chance being it's been a couple of years since we've been there, So we decided instead of going there we were going to use Uber. Right when logged into Uber and confirmed the same thing on Doordash, they stated that their $13 dishes (Same plates that we got before) are now $24 each So when you go for the Bogo it looks like you're getting a steep discount so in essence, you're paying $13 for a quarter piece of chicken and some nasty rice and beans each when you get the BOGO, but if you order the regular dish, they have the nerve to charge $25 for a quarter combo! To give you a perspective, this means that each plate was $24. so it would have been $50 for these two dishes when they were $13 each just last year. So we decided not to order from this restaurant ever again! And to top it off, my wife is offended due to being Peruvian and expects her people not to make horrible food and rip people off during these times! For a restaurant to open during COVID takes courage and a commitment to customer service and I am happy to report that La Brasa has both! So far we have only tried the drive-thru service, but it's great. The employees are wearing masks, food is made to order even as it's drive-thru, and you park and an employee brings your order out to your car. Easy-peasy and fresh! I can highly recommend the fried yuca and the sweet and sour chicken. My husband has had the palomilla and said it was pretty good. La Brasa is not fine dining, but the food is fresh, filling, yummy, and a good value for the cost. We've been twice and we'll definitely be back. read more

How can a restaurant serving food that is supposed to be hot serve cold heated over food and get away with it. There were no other customers in the place when my wife and I arrived on an early Friday evening. The place was dead ! There were 2 employees working the front counter taking orders and putting the order together. I ordered grilled chicken and my wife pork chops, both with sides of vegetables and rice. The food was absolutely unacceptable, cold and looked not freshly prepared. The veggies were from a frozen bag and left in a steam tray to cook. They were served cold. The rice also from a steam tray served cold. We brought this to the attention of the clerks who did not speak or understand any English. They offered to heat the food but that was a waste of time as the temperature did not change. I demanded my money back without eating any got my money back. In a commercial restaurant food needs to be monitored for temperature before serving or you can become sick from mal prepared food. STAY AWAY!! There was no on site supervisor or manager to talk to. I spoke to someone on the phone in order for the clerks to make the refund. read more

However, I'm always skeptical about ordering seafood at a chicken/meat restaurant, especially if they only offer a few items related to seafood. La Brasa just opened at this location this week and I'm already impressed! I have gone a couple of times already and everything has been really yummy and thoughtfully wrapped. There is a drive-thru, which is a huge plus for me because I have two small children. They have chicken, steak, ceviche and other typical Peruvian dishes like fried rice. They also have 3 sauces (a spicy red one, a cilantro garlic, and a plain mild garlic). I absolutely expect to become a regular here. Food was ready quick and served hot.
