I visited Holiday Bar for a Crown Royal Mixology event. I walked into the class greeted with a warm welcome by Ty. She was so sweet. She caught me up to speed with the rest of the class and made sure I was taken care of. We made 2 different cocktails with the regular Crown Royal and the Crown Royal Peach. They both were very delicious. I love how Ty set up the patio area. Each of us had our own Shaker and cocktail space. I went to this event solo, but met some nice people while there. This was my first time checking out the Holiday Bar at The Interlock, and it was a solid addition to my holiday bar hop! The vibe was fun and packed, with people hanging out by the fire outside and crowding inside. Heads up--get there early because it fills up fast, and seating is super limited. The DJ was awesome and kept the party going, but it was pretty cold with the doors open, so definitely bring a jacket. The bar was crazy busy, so know what you want and jump in when you can. I enjoy holiday bar. It has an interesting set up being that it's pretty much an outdoor bar that is connected to other bars in the area. It is nicely decorated, and it has a good vibe. The crowd varies and there was one time I went where it wasn't quite my type of crowd, but usually I do enjoy the environment. I've only been here for a drinks, and the drinks were good. The drinks were really good. A little disappointed the came in small plastic cups instead of actual glasses. The decor was so nice. It was fun to see all the different decorations they put up. You can tell that they put a lot of time and effort into decorating for the holidays. My only complaint is they didn't have very "holiday" drinks. They seem to have the same menu year round. Such a cute bar ! The theme is nightmare before Xmas so they had that theme all over. They had holiday themed drinks from hot toddie drinks as well as a regular full bar. I visited this bar during the middle of the week to go out for drinks with the family. This is an outdoor bar that has a variety of drinks and even some coffee options. We stopped by for the live music and they were so good! There is a good amount of seating and also some TVs for your enjoyment. This is a great weekend spot to go to because it becomes more of a party scene at the interlock. Be warned though, weekend nights are extremely busy so plan accordingly. read more

Came very early in the day on a Wednesday, so not a lot of people just yet. I did a day of visiting pop up Christmas themed bars and holiday bar has the festive vibe complete with holiday drink selections. Service was excellent and the bartender gave us options and answered all our questions about the holiday drink selections. The outside area has a cozy bench with a fire pit that was lit up while we were there so we did go sit out there for a little bit to enjoy the fire. It was a chilly fall day but the combo of the chill with the fire pit and boozy hot chocolate in hand were perfection. This is a cute little pop up holiday bar. Christmas decorations and lights are everywhere. There's no food here BUT there's a ton of restaurants next door. I did notice some had brought food in so I guess outside food is allowed. Very small space but good music and holiday themed drinks. Holiday bar is a great spot to host events or gather for happy hour drinks. The staff was friendly and worked as quickly as possible when working with a very large crowd. I think there's a A taco Tuesday event, very lively on a Tuesday night, kinda like a lounge scene. Cool, casual vibes but still can be something cute bc it's very aesthetically pleasing. There's 3 drinks on the 10pm-close (12am) lobos repasado + Red Bull, lobos + passionfruit + ranch water, + lobos espresso martini ( these are full price, my friend and I ordered drinks (3) the total was $58, however the tacos were $4 beef, chicken, (hmmm can't quite remember the 3rd) and you order them at velvet taco...which I didn't know about until after the fact bc I ordered off of velvet tacos reg menu :( Anyway the tables were very dirty and there was trash everywhere, idk maybe I would've enjoyed more if the table was clean I mean there was spilled drinks everywhere. Very cute, quaint bar with coffees and cocktails and coffee cocktails! I had the Davey Jones Locker and it has rum, Amaro lucano, and drip coffee. I would only recommend this drink for coffee drinkers who like bold coffee. Thankfully I fit the bill and was able to enjoy the caffeine punch complemented by the rum flavor. Since it's cold out it was also a plus to have drink that can warm me up! I sat inside but there's also plenty of outdoor searing. The service is quick and the bartenders are attentive. FYI if you've never been to the Interlock there is a parking lot attached with a 2 hour minimum park mobile fee that runs you $7.35 read more

Perfect for meeting with friends if you have a mix of personality alcohol on one side, coffee on the other, then tacos next door. My favorite drink I have gotten from here was the Pink GNT, but I do like that they have a twist on a lot of traditional drinks. Parking here is going to be in the shared parking lot of all the businesses there - which is a pay to park so keep that in mind if you're driving. As for location, this place is fully covered from the top, but is open on all sides, with a focus on coffee for one and alcohol on the slight more inclosed side. I happened upon it after a game at puttshack which was great because I was in need of some coffee. Personally when I go here, I usually order from the bar and end up taking my drinks over to grab tacos, having one friend be in charge of ordering from each of the establishments to beat waiting for lines for both. I have had both coffee and cocktails from here and I think they do it really well here. Everyone has their preferred drinks, so each person can make the experience their own on that side of things but for the vibes here it is mostly a walk up bar. As for service in here, the bartends are not here for conversations, they are trying to bust drinks out quickly but not necessarily welcoming. I don't see this as my friendly neighborhood bar, but I definitely have been more than once and I will probably be going soon again. read more

It can get crowded very fast, but the staff is very attentive in ensuring everyone gets served, even when it is very busy. Was excited to take a friend here for her birthday. Unfortunately we didn't feel welcome. We went up to the drink counter and the server said we need to sit at the bar. We went to go sit down at the bar. One of the worker/servers was spread out with her bags and laptop. She was taking up 3 seats. We sat in the two empty seats next to her and she said "really, you could sit literally anywhere else". We felt so uncomfortable trying to say sorry as she kept making comments to the bartender and dramatically moved over a couple seats. She made the whole experience there awkward. read more

The holiday bar is in an exceptional place in the Interlock. It has a full bar and has indoorish and outdoorish vibes. Everyone that I have met has been friendly to serve me, so that's a plus. They don't have the biggest beer selection, but that isn't the end of the world! If you are walking along Howell Mill, or coming from the Drawbar or out of Puttshack, you can't miss this spot right on the corner. Depending on the time of night, your line will be super long though, and the bartenders may or may not get to you (it gets SUPER crowded). If you just want to mix and mingle or people watch, this is a good vibe, but if you actually want a drink... eh... good luck I suppose (you will get there eventually ...but... again... there can be a LOT of people, so prep for that). read more

This is a new bar (well new to me anyway) that is part of the Interlock building on the Westside. The Interlock has its own parking garage, but I parked in the Westside Provisions area and made the short walk over. The bar is a great hangout spot with many nooks and cranny to lounge around. The bar offers alcohol as well as assorted coffee options. From what I could tell they have an extensive cocktail menu, but the beer menu is very limited. They didn't have anything on tap and only offered a few canned choices. I ended up ordering a Tropicalia. They need to expand their beer options, but the location, layout and the overall vibe were great. I really liked the place and will come back when the weather is better to really enjoy the outside seating areas. read more

This bar located in the interlock is such a good time. It is an open air bar with amazing views. The set up is great to experience the patio or be closer to the bar. There is space to dance. I love that you could take your drink and you could walk around if you wanted to because there's other restaurants and shops. The music was good the night and I went. I am so excited that this place is finally open! The name of this spot would have most people saying "hmmmm, what is this place???" Well, it is a gorgeous, open concept coffee bar right in the middle of the Interlock (across from Puttshack and Velvet Taco). They are still working on the final touches including decor, signage etc., but when I tell you, it is absolutely stunning already! Think Garden Room (Buckhead) meets coffee/wine bar. All of their coffee is local and syrups are house made. I ordered a latte with honey cinnamon syrup and my hubby ordered a matcha green tea latte. Both were delicious and made with love by Patrick! Patrick and the other employees were sooo sweet! They gave us a full run down of what's to come over the next few months. Right now, the bar is open from 7am-4pm. Once they finalize their liquor license, they will serve alcoholic beverages and stay open until 2am! They also plan to partner with other restaurants in the Interlock for food options. One of the employees told me that their hope is to bring business and community in the Westside together, not compete. Love that concept. This unique bar/lounge is going to be my new go to when it's all done. Please check it out now before it gets too popular! My new favorite West Midtown bar! I have passed this bar so many times before I realized it was a bar and I am glad I stopped here! The drinks are not super strong though and they are a bit pricey. But that's what you can expect at a cocktail bar. The bartenders are also very fast and quite friendly. They also have security before you enter the outdoor bar area so it is somewhat secure despite being on the street. They have a wrap around bar and also an outdoor lounge section that is parallel to the sidewalk. Then you can walk through the indoor bar area (although it is quite right there is another section for seating) towards the back of the establishment where they have a dj and a dance area! Overall 10/10 for vibes. I will definitely be frequenting here. read more
