This was my first time at Wild Leap. I came with my wife for a friend's birthday, as she was celebrating here. Parking can be a little confusing at first, but there's a huge parking lot basically right behind (or in front) of the place. They have quite a few beers on tap, so if you like beer, you will definitely find something you like. They also have slushie drinks and then you can make your own well drink if you want too. They don't serve food, but they do occasionally have food trucks on site. Wild Leap has two levels, but the lower level is where the party is. The TVs are all down there, and they have some nice outdoor seating. The staff is all super friendly too. Happy to help! While Wild Leap is quite nice, it's super far from my home in Chamblee. I probably won't come back anytime soon, unless someone is having an event here. read more

We've known of this place, but wasn't really sure where it was so we stopped here for a quick beverage before heading home. It looks like the brewery itself is attached to condos/apartments. The good thing about this place is the free parking! The brewery itself did reek with a smell of bleach, which gave me a headache so opted to sit outside. The outside is pretty spacious with a chairs, fire pits and picnic tables. Their restrooms could use a bit more cleaning and replenishing. Only one stall had toilet paper and there were no paper towels. read more

A great place for some different beers before the United match...but be forewarned. Very limited seating, and the process for getting food is a little brutal. You have to use an App and order from the food truck that's on-site. Took 36 minutes to get a cheeseburger and fries. So come to drink and stand - I wouldn't come hungry. read more

My husband and I love the original Wild Leap location in LaGrange, and we were so excited to hear that they were going to open an Atlanta location. It took us a long time to finally try it because it's in downtown, so traffic is usually terrible and we didn't know what the parking situation would be. We finally went one evening before going to an event nearby. It was a weeknight and we got there early, so parking was easy in their lot. (I do think it could be a challenge if it's slammed.) It's a really nice place. They have tons of seating. The drinks we got were tasty! If it was a more convenient location for us, we would definitely go more often! read more

I've been here a handful of times. But the big highlight ones are when they host the volunteer after party for momocon. They have a variety of really interesting cocktails which they custom rename for the party. They've got two levels and such a cool vibe. It started with ordering drinks. They don't specify which alcohol they use nor did they have certain alcohol so they give you their brand of alcohol which is overpriced for that establishment. Let's talk about the food now .... The smash burgers were the worst I've ever had and I should've took seeing no one really eating as a sign to not get food. The patty was was super hard , over cooked and very dry. It came with no topping. Only cheese. No lettuce. Nothing. The fries were also over cooked and not worth the money spent. This was my second visit! I had a big group the first time and a small group the second! My child in tow both times! The service has always been great each time I've went! I was able to try both the summer slushes and the fun fall flavors! My favorite thing so far is the espresso martini slush!! Yum!! My friend loved it as well! I recommend the slush or beer flights! My partner and I dropped by Wild Leap during our visit to ATL and enjoyed the experience! We tried a flight of beer (my favorite was one of the peach varietals) and the slushie flight, which was delicious! The white pumpkin slushie was my favorite - not super pumpkin-forward and tasted almost like a horchata. It was a large space, so it is definitely great for largw groups. Great first time visit to this new location! **FYI THERE IS FREE PARKING IN THE BACK ** The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. They even accommodated mobility needs as the bar is on a lower level. Our bartender came out to check on us multiple times. We had a flight of slushies and enjoyed each one. They were not overly sweet and we had a hard time picking a favorite. After the flight we each choose a favorite, the Guava Margarita and My Boy Chamoy. There are food trucks on different days, but not on the Monday we were here. There are so many seating options both in and out which we love! We've enjoyed Wild Leap beers here in Atlanta locally (especially their Mygotu seltzers) and were excited to see that we didn't have to go all the way to LaGrange anymore to be able to enjoy them in a taproom. The new Atlanta location is located in the new Centennial Yards development and is spacious and looks really nice. Wild Leap has 2 levels and you'd see the upper level passing by it on Ted Turner Drive, but the lower level is where their TVs are located and their outdoor seating area with fire pits for the winter. Wild Leap doesn't serve food, but there are food trucks in the parking lot behind the location. Trying to find out where to park is kind of tricky. You have to head south past Centennial Yards on Ted Turner. You then have to take the first right after you cross Trinity Ave to get to their parking lot. Don't even bother with Google maps or Waze, because they'll just have you driving around in circles to the point where you either give up and go somewhere else or park at one of those rip-off private lots across the street instead. read more

Great new spot in Castleberry neighborhood and a happy sight for local ATLians that used to make the trek from LaGrange to try Wild Leap. They opened today on Dec 30th and it was pretty busy on both levels for opening night. The taproom only cocktails packed a punch and their beers and seltzers are the same as their OG location. Parking is a little tricky but hopefully they'll put a map or something on their website to direct people to the parking lot. Excited for this new spot in the southwest. read more

I recently stayed in Downtown Atlanta and was looking around for a place to quench my thirst. Thankfully I found this spot listed on a friend's "Bars and Brews" Yelp Collection. Super glad I stopped by. The service was phenomenal. Absolutely no complaints about the bar service, staff, etc. I wish every bar/brew pub had employees like Wild Leap! I really should have asked for their names to mention in this review because they deserved it. The beers and frozen cocktails were delicious! I started with a couple of IPAs and then they insisted I try one of their signature vodka frozen drinks - no regrets! I ended up having two (chased with a shot) and by then it was time for me to stumble back to my hotel room. Unfortunately on this day the food truck that was supposed to be at Wild Leap cancelled with little notice to the venue (no fun!) so there was no food being served. I will definitely be back to check this place out again, especially when it's more "happening" such as on a game day or another big event in the area. I have to admit it was nice having most of the bar to myself and such attentive service though. 4/5 for Wild Leap, due to lack of food options and pricey cocktails but overall no major complaints. Okay. I live OTP. It takes a lot for me to go into the city. This new location is worth the drive and aggravation. It's beautiful. It's got great beer, cocktails, Slushies and Jello Shots. Oh. Boy. We are big fans of the LaGrange location so we swung by the new location near the Mercedes Benz stadium. This place is top notch. We had no idea we would be involved in a Mardi Gras crawl but we were happy to be there. This location is spacious and the bartenders are hilarious. We had a good time chatting as we drank. Be careful of those slushes, y'all. They'll sneak up on you quick. Two bars are available with plenty of seating. It's a great place to be rain or shine. Great location, great beer, great atmosphere, terrible management and owner (Joe) We visited this location both before and after the Atlanta United opening match with about a group of 10 people. Enjoyed the time there until the end of the night. As we were leaving, we had a congenial with one of the owners, Joe. While there were patrons still in the building, one of us simply asked if we could use the facilities before the trip back OTP. This request was denied, while others patrons were still using the facility Mind you that our group had spent a significant amount of money there throughout the night. Disappointed in how an owner would treat a paying patron, who out of common courtesy, asked to use the facilities while others just walked right in. This speaks volume of their character and would not recommend this location to anyone unless you want to be treated poorly. Edit: Addressing response from ownership. I have provided my contact information the night of the visit for an amicable discussion while owner felt necessary to throw accusations and assume "fraud", again showing the true character of his intentions - which I'm happy to share with anyone interested. I am not disputing the timing nor the tone of the discussion, but to call someone defamatory or fraud because they gave an honest review of a location with someone who they attended with, again, shows the true character of ownership. Their response only solidifies my honest review and opinion, other paying guest used the restroom without asking while I was declined when I had courteously asked management. In addition, owner does not understand that reviewing on multiple platforms for same location is not out of the ordinary or "fraud", again showing ownerships disconnect with these type of sites. As someone who has managed a Yelp page for my family's businesses, I understand how to get things taken down but also understand the importance of how to treat customers both publicly and privately which Wild Leap has shown their intentions by continuing to throw accusations. Enroute to Wild Leap I realized one of the keys to finding parking is to turn on Garnett Street, which directs you to a sizable parking lot. I quickly found an available space and entered through the lower level entrance, which led me directly to one of the many bar areas. I was immediately welcomed by a friendly bartender who was ready to take my order and answer all my questions. After taking a quick tour of the space and stopping by the small but clean restroom facilities, I continued to explore the lower level, which was quite expansive and offered a wide variety of indoor and outdoor seating options. I walked upstairs to the second level, and I spotted the beer group I had been searching for, tucked away in a corner booth right next to a massive TV screen. The venue itself is exceptional, with multiple large-screen TVs mounted throughout the space and a second, equally impressive bar on the upper level. I approached the bar and ordered a flight of beer, featuring a nice mixture of beer styles. After getting my flight, I returned to the group and spent some time sharing and discussing our beers. The venue was full of comfortable nooks and crannies, both inside and out, making it an ideal spot for intimate gatherings or larger group events. I am eager to return and explore more of the menu, as this place clearly offers a bunch of different beer options. Overall, I highly recommend Wild Leap Atlanta and look forward to future visits. read more

Owner didn't reach out to me to understand the situation but just assume this was a spam review. Disappointed in the owner, Joe, in his hospitality on a simple request, using the restroom after drinking beverages. While we enjoyed our time there, it was tainted by a simple request, using the bathroom. Our group had about 10 people who all enjoyed our time and had left, while two we're having a nice conversation with Joe. One group member simply asked the restroom before they hopped in a Uber, approximately 15 minutes after closing, which was declined. Mind you, we witnessed multiple people used the restroom during this time without asking. We were fairly disgusted in the response and simply left. I find this indicative of ownership in the future and would not recommend going here if you expect common courtesy. read more

Bartender was fun and place was cute. Don't go if you're looking for a vibe. It's definitely is more about you and the company you bring. Meaning, I don't remember music or anything so it's a great place to sit and chat or just kick it with friends. The parking situation is very weird! We had to park on the street then go in and ask for directions. Apparently they are known for not answering the phone and instead sending an automatic text that never texts back. Overall, the parking situation would have been a deal breaker for me had I not been able to come in and ask. I only knew there was free parking because I called and heard about it on the voicemail. The left instructions on the gmail but they were so confusing and were not helpful for someone who is not from the area. Something like "go pass the light and over the bridge!" I was letting thinking "what light and what bridge." By the time I "followed" those instructions, I was on another street, in front of the Smokey stallion. Overall I had a good time but Im being detail so you know that 1) there is free parking and 2) don't expect to understand the directions unless you are from GA lol It's really unprofessional not to answer the phone. read more

This is not to be missed on a beer pilgrimage to ATL (or just a regular Sat afternoon!) Finding the parking lot was a little challenging, but once inside, Wild Leap is a treasure trove!! Bailey and Jeff behind the bar were knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and encouraging! The space itself offers many different seating options (inside, outside, table, high top, etc) and was so comfortable and welcoming.
