As soon as he walked in he said, 'This is the place'. He felt comfortable and it was his decision! He has been here now for going on 5 months and he enjoys his new surroundings as well as their wonderful staff. I no longer worry about him as I know he is being very well taken care of! He enjoys his meals in the cafeteria, walks and activities. We are both very happy that he is a resident of The Lodge.

Fortunately for me, the people at the local medical office referred me to Interim HealthCare. The manager (Tracie Pistone) came out to my home, went over all of he paperwork and answered my questions. She also helped explain some of the laws out there which help protect seniors and elderly from being taken advantage of by those who would take care of those in need. It was fast and pleasant, she explained the whole process and what to expect. Come the time I need help, a CNA (a great young lady by the name of Kelly Wilson) shows up and off we go. Nice, great conversation, and when I was done with the procedure, she got me home and taken care of. What was the icing on the cake? Being called later to see if everything is okay. If I could tip, I would but that's one of the no-no policies. So instead, posting up a yelp review with a shout out to the two folks who helped me get past this endeavor. Would I do it again? Absolutely, but I'm out of wisdom teeth :)

Dwight the administrator is a very busy man who operates a positive peaceful facility with a lower than market price for the average Senior consumer. Eric the Dept. head for sales and residency is a Veteran who speaks from the heart and from years of experience working in the field. Kindness and compassion from all the med techs and medical assistants is a required attribute that is possessed by those who consider this place a home for their "family". All are welcome here including children and friends. The feeling of safety is awesome. The staff in the kitchen including michael frankie and Joe work very hard to prepare meals for the nurishment of the folks who are in their final stages of life.Mallory Kenise Tana Summer Karen Allena and Allisa are wonderful people who operate with integrity and kindness. It was a life changing experience for a man like myself who needed the support and strrength to give the real world another shot after having had 2 strokes.
