I made an appointment online, easy as could be, had my first consultation and cut and loved it and loved Holiday as well. I try to go every 3-4 weeks, and while we don't do anything crazy with my hair, we play around from time to time and he always nails it. His studio's vibe is super cool, he's also a musician and a true artist with style and soul, and such a caring individual who is plugged in. I would consider him a friend at this point, and love our talks as much as my haircuts. You won't be sorry if you go to him. The relationship you have with the person who cuts your hair, it borders on a monogamous, committed love affair. And I was seeing someone else when I first brought my little boy to Holiday for his first haircut. I had a glass if whiskey. The boy got his cut. We talked about guitar rock. I had a blast. And then the boy looked good enough that Holiday snapped a photo for his wall. That was 8 years ago. I quickly broke up with my prior barber and came to Holiday. It is easy. It is fun. Holiday is fantastic! I recently moved back to Asheville after 25 years in Seattle. I was recommended to Holiday through a mutual friend whose three generations of men use his services (young boy, middle aged dad and the grandpa - something like a 70 year time span; I'm closest in age to the grandpa). We are all very happy with Holiday. His studio is clean and modern while retaining old fashioned touches like an honest-to-god barber chair and a leather apron. Many years and at least three locations ago, I let Holiday cut my four year old son's hair. At the time, I was in a committed relationship with another stylist, but when my long-term cutter retired, I moved to Holiday and have only been happy. I always attend with my son.
