Mrs. Charolette was so caring and helpful, because it was so much and we had only a little time to get it done, my other daughter and I did it ourselves. However, Mrs. Charolette jumped right in with us and help clean a blood stain from my daughter, who was in the accident, shoes! She offered advice to save money and time, she cared for my family as if it were her own. I recognized right away that she cared for her business and equipment. I will say she is rightfully protective of her family owned small business equipment and she won't put up with deceptive or unpleasant behavior! I respect and admire the way she handles herself and her business. I had the pleasure to spend a few hours with her and I left with clean clothes and a full heart! I think the world would be a much better place if there were more Mrs. Charolette's in it! I will self proclaim her as my grandma!

This is a SERVICE YOU OFFER 2.) Why would you ask that of a customer if the whole reason people use this facility is specifically for the purpose of dropping off their clothes and picking it up once it is done. 3.) You do not know our schedules, plans or reasons for using your services. So Charlotte decides to charge us $11 just for them to move our laundry from washer to dryer.No folding. Instead of the $3 she charged last time for the same service, and same amount of clothes. If you ask the employees how much their services cost they will tell you it depends on who you ask. There are roaches on and in the machines, finding this on my visit 01/20/2022 was the last straw for me using this laundromat as I found roaches in and on the machine I was using. Not to even mention the trash overflowing, limited laundry basket rollers and general dirtiness. As another reviewer stated it is extremely hot and stuffy and uncomfortable to sit inside for any prolonged period of time, even in the winter! Do not go to Simmons Laundry if you have any other choice in laundromats. It's a shame as this location is closest and most convenient to my apartment.

Clearly we were not in Northern VA where we could get "ANY" item laundered or dry cleaned for $2.79 at "ZIPS" and I almost laughed (bwahahahahahahahahahaha) when the Associate quoted me $7.85 to get my young daughter's Sunday dress dry-cleaned--and I have two! NOPE! After polling my friends for the best Dry Cleaners in town, one highly recommended "Holiday Cleaners" at 4329 Southwest Blvd. Right after reading her message I quickly grabbed my dry-cleaning bag and set the GPS for this location which was located right off of the highway. I arrived within minutes but actually drove by the location because I could barely make out the name on the sign which was severely weathered looking. Once I realized where the Dry Cleaners was, I noticed a vehicle in a little alley way next to the building which was their "drive-thru". When it was my turn a very pleasant Associate took my laundry and then stated they would be available the very next day. I picked up my items yesterday and was very impressed that the dry cleaning was ready and everything looked great. We paid $12.59 for two sets of military uniforms and you can't beat next-day dry cleaning. This would be a Five-Star Review if the owner of the establishment cared enough to update their store sign so that customers could easily find what they were looking for. Terrible. I'm in the military and took my uniform here to get my rank sewn on and get my shirt…read morecleaned/pressed. The lady at the desk said the alterations lady knew what she was doing. I went to get my shirt (a week later) - the rank was too high and my shirt still had wrinkles from when I bought it. Then when I took it back for them to fix it, the blame was put on me for not pinning my stripes on where they were supposed to go. They re-did it, I got it back after ANOTHER week, and no reimbursement was made. I will not go back here.
