My husband and I were shopping. He decided to stop in to get his hair cut. He gets this head shaved. He was charged $55.00 for his cut which was literally him just having his head shaved. Terrible do not go rusty is very unprofessional and goes way to fast and does not even care what he does. I asked for a low taper and he shaved the sides all the way and I said please don't take anything off the top and He did anyways. When I asked him to please stop when he was doing the top and he said no it looks good and I said please don't and he said it would look better and I told him I didn't want anything off the top. Joanie is the WORST! I took my little brother to get his haircut and she was INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL the whole time. She wildly jacked up his hair and now looks like a mess. I told her it was too short and she said "well, no going back now". After the haircut was over I took my brother to get a pastry from the Starbucks right outside. I was talking to one of the other hairstylists who is a friend of mine and JOANIE CAME OUT AND ASKED IF SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH HIS HAIRCUT. And I was like it's too short which is what I told you. And she said "I did exactly as you asked". And was trying to entice an argument with me in front of all of those people. It was so embarrassing. I tried to stay quiet about the whole thing but it was the absolute worst. Please go see Sydney or Amy. They're amazing people. But STAY AWAY FROM JOANIE unless of course you like being treated like garbage. read more

I visited this salon today with a friend who was also getting her hair cut. I had planned to get my sons hair cut at the same time. My friend was helped right away but I was deliberately ignored by the stylists there even as I was waiting at the register for assistance. After seeing the stylists ignoring me and my son I finally sat down to wait for my friend to get her hair cut. She noticed and said something to the stylist "Mara" who was cutting her hair. Mara apologized for her coworkers behavior and offered to cut my toddlers hair after she was finished with my friends hair. I was happy with Mara who did a fantastic job on my sons hair cut given he is a toddler and doesn't sit very still. For the other stylists though I would like to raise the question as to why I was ignored? Is this the expectation that stylist sit on their phones and ignore customers? I've attached a photo of the stylists sitting on their phones as I was waiting for someone to notice that I was there. Not sure if I will come back as there are other places who will appreciate my business. read more

I've been going to Holiday Hair locations since I was a child, and after my last visit and today I won't be returning. I was five minutes late and they filled my spot immediately and the woman at the counter was unbelievably rude about it. Last time I was there they charged me 250$ for a cut and to color just the tips of my hair. when I looked at my receipt I had three extra dye charges, when all she did was bleach my tips! horrible business, horrible customer service, and they will steal your money. I'm so disappointed. I should have known better than to go back. I'd rather go to a great clips or Supercuts at this point. today they lost a faithful life long customer. To post such a review about Joanie is completely absurd. She has over 20 years of experience with Holiday Hair, and provides outstanding customer service to her many clients. She clearly was trying to accommodate you after telling her you were on a time crunch; probably not the best thing to tell a stylist right before they are about to give you a haircut. I received very unprofessional service from my stylist, Joanie. My appointment was at 4:00pm but she was working with another client and I wasn't seen until 4:20pm. Because of the delay, I opted to skip the eyebrow waxing and only get my haircut. (I had scheduled both services but was meeting friends for dinner later and did not want to be late. The haircut was more important than the waxing.) When Joanie sat me down at the shampoo area and asked what I was getting that day, I told her of my choice to skip the eyebrow waxing because I was on a time crunch. This clearly annoyed her and she ordered me to sit back for my shampoo. She gave me the fastest shampoo ever. She was borderline rough and she splashed water on my face. I was questioning whether I should say something because I felt weird about it but I did not say anything. She took me over for my haircut and was very short with me. I was trying to describe what I wanted and when I asked her questions, she would give one word answers. I felt uncomfortable because I am normally one who wants some guidance from my stylist. She began to cut my hair frantically. There is no other way to describe it. I wanted to leave, but then I would have a half done haircut. It was the most uncomfortable experience I ever had at a salon. I was scared of what my hair would look like because she was cutting so fast. A fellow stylist could tell Joanie was annoyed because when she passed by she said, "Love you Joanie" and Joanie replied, "Love you too." It was so passive aggressive. I would describe my cut as "okay", mainly because Joanie would not communicate with me and help me get my desired look. She was also cutting so fast and didn't even show me the back of my hair. read more
