There are many things I like about this hotel. First, the cleanliness + modernism is there from the lobby, entrance and inside the room. Second, the parking lot didn't seem to be crowded at all. There were always spaces open to park (for free!) even towards the front entrance of the hotel. Third, the staff were really nice and helpful throughout the day+night and all opportunities I had to interact with them. And..finally, the spread of breakfast has now resumed and not a breakfast bag during peak-COVID anymore! The only thing that made me minus a 1 star though was that while the room key is a tap key (no longer a card that you insert in a slot), my key failed to work all 3 nights that I was staying there. So, it was sort of annoying when you got to your room...found out the key no longer worked...and had to go back down to the lobby to get it rekeyed again and head back to the room.

The place had a scented aroma throughout the whole building that whole strong I enjoyed it a lot. Smelled fresh and nice. Due to covid the pool was closed but they did offer to go grab bags. I tried the pancake machine, which was fun to watch. Yet, it severely undercooks them. The staff that help's in the breakfast area is exceptional, seriously. Given the feeding frenzy I've seen there before, I'm impressed with the way things stay stocked and in good spirits. The room is basically clean. I found a cigar, chewed on ~not smoked, on the floor behind the bed. That was like dining a bunch of critters, but says more about the people staying there than those trying to help make travel easier. The rooms feel outdated and well used, which is why I have only 4-stars. Given the price tag, I left thinking I'll check some of the other spots within 1/4 mile. Our room was perfect--surprisingly quiet with no outside noise, and the blackout shade was a game-changer, letting us sleep in without the morning sun waking us up. One of our favorite parts of the stay was breakfast at the Great American Grill, conveniently located just downstairs in the lobby. It's open from 7-11 a.m., which is later than most places--perfect for sleeping in and still making it to breakfast! You can choose the buffet or order from the menu, and we went with the latter. Everything was cooked perfectly. I loved that I got to customize my omelet, my bacon was exactly how I like it, and my friend's eggs and toast were made just right. Another huge plus is the location. Being in Cherry Creek, the hotel is right in the middle of everything. Plus, there are tons of great restaurants in the same parking lot, from Mexican to seafood--and even a Dunkin' Donuts! The hotel is clean offering a nice lounge area, spacious dining with a full breakfast buffett and swanky bar at night that serves food. There are a variety of places to eat adjacent to the venue or within walking distance but the bartender in the bar is a lovely gal. The little bar area gets busy and she does not miss a beat. They serve yummy cookies at night, fresh water sometimes garnished with fruit, and coffee/tea in the morning. Nice little business area, small private gym and a pool. The rooms are nice, with room service offered every other day. My recent stays my toliet was spinning all night. When I called the front desk in the morning, they immediately sent someone up to repair it. No problems after maintenance left. Parking in the garage is $15 a night with plenty of parking. I'm just very overall impressed with the level of service provided.

I was able to walk to and from the convention center every day without having to wait and pay for an Uber. First, my stupid butt managed to lock myself out of my room because the hook lock got stuck. Not only did they have someone come within 15 minutes to fix it, they were super nice about it too. Second, there's breakfast included and it's actually real and fresh cooked eggs, unlike the buffet eggs you usually get. Third, there's a water filter in the room so you can fill up your own water bottle! There's also free ice in the lobby so you can put it in your water bottle. And lastly, staff here are super friendly and super nice.

They only put a $50 hold on my credit card rather than the standard $100 or more. I was expecting $100 so I'm glad it was less. I stayed in a standard King room. The room was practical. I can tell that they converted an older hotel here with many nice upgrades. Unfortunately, I smelled a faint smell of smoke when frequently using the stairwell. However, I didn't smell any smoke in my room. It was quiet here as well. I had a good night's rest. The King sized bed was very comfortable to sleep in. There were plenty of pillows and I woke up very refreshed from a god night's rest. Although I'm not into yoga, I loved the space in the room for the practice of yoga. There is a nice large sized ball in the corner, straps hanging nearby for stretching, a yoga mat and other supplies in the room. If you're a yoga enthusiast or practice it, I highly recommend that you spend the night here! You will love the setup and just overall concept of having this area in a hotel room. I didn't eat dinner or breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. I chose to eat dinner at a nearby restaurant that was within walking distance from the hotel. There is a Maggiano's across the street, a Brazilian Steakhouse and other restaurants down the street. Check out is at 12:00 PM which is very nice.
