The good: The hotel was clean and had everything we needed. It was modern and spacious. We enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. The complimentary breakfast was superior to average hotel breakfasts. It included fresh oatmeal and toppings, fruits, yogurts, whole bottles of chocolate milk, cinnamon rolls, bagels with cream cheese and peanut butter, cereal, pancakes, sausage and eggs and more. There was a coffee machine accessible to guests at all hours of the day. The black out curtains worked well. The bad: Our keycard got demagnetized multiple times so we had to keep bringing it to the lobby to activate. It happened to other guests too. This could have easily gone four stars but I since it had 4 1/2, I couldn't be the guy that brought it to 4 so I gave them 5. We have stayed at this particular location two times. This hotel as clean as the other locations. In fact, this city is extremely clean. The staff was friendly. My ONLY beef was the noisy indoor fan on our air conditions unit. I called after our stay to let them know that our room had this problem. I didn't feel confident that the issue would be resolved. This a/c unit has probably been making this racket for some time. I stay here every time I come to Logan on business. Partly for the location since I work on the north side of town, but I always get a nice clean room at a good price here and the place is well run. I'd give it 5 stars if the breakfast buffet was a little stronger, they don't always have fresh fruit and some of the offering like the omelets are a little processed and bland. I finally have hope that there is a reasonable (by today's standards) hotel in Logan that is clean, has good service and does not break the bank. On my third attempt, I found this Holiday Inn Express. After walking in the front door, I was greeted by Krista, who was working the front desk. Extremely kind, professional and very friendly. I had my room key in short order and off I went to the 3rd floor. The room was very clean and modern. I believe this hotel has been around a few years but my room looked like new. The carpet was clean, bed was made, there was no dust to be found on the furniture or countertops. The room smelled fresh and I was pleased to see it came with a small apartment size fridge, microwave and of course the coffee pot. I normally avoid any coffee in a hotel room as one just never know how old it might be. These coffee packs actually had expiration dates on them! The bathroom was extremely clean and well laid out. The shower had newer, functional fixtures. And the bathroom exhaust fan actually worked! The tile and drywall work got two thumbs up! Same with the room, well cared for and in great shape. The bed was good and I really enjoyed the pillows with the cases that identified if the pillow was hard or soft. What a concept! There were several television channels to watch and the room had a nice desk, with a second pull out section. Lighting was good and the only complaint was that one of the lamps had a switch that needed to be replaced. Easily repaired. I heard folks go up and down the hall but I really did not hear any of my neighbors. They offer express check-out and I found my paperwork had been slipped under my door prior to waking up the next morning. All parts of this hotel were clean, including the public areas. There was a nice indoor swimming pool but I did not use the facility. I did see a laundry room on my floor but it was equipped with only one washer and one dryer. You may have to be selective on a time if a few folks want to use them. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot and this hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants and stores. They offer a complimentary breakfast which I found to be satisfying! Your typical morning breakfast station. Food was well prepared and if I had to be critical of one thing, the kitchen staff fell a bit behind on keeping up with the eggs, etc. They cleaned tables as soon as folks left the room and kept the place very nice. All-in-all, this will be my go-to hotel during my trips to Logan! I have zero complaints and after two previous trips at hotels that I felt were substandard, Holiday Inn Express has renewed my faith in the hotel industry. Not to say I've never had a bad experience at a Holiday Inn Express, just not this one. 3.5 star hotel for me. The positives: beds were comfortable, room was a decent size and there was plenty of parking. The breakfast was your basic hotel breakfast, but the woman running it was pleasant (and the only hotel employee I saw wearing a mask). Front desk staff were also uniformly pleasant. The somewhat negatives: As of my visit in the beginning of October, there is significant construction going on behind the hotel. It started bright and early, including on Saturday, and was quite noisy. I would have liked it if the hotel staff had let me know about that. Housekeeping was a little strange. I did ask for service after 2 days and the bathroom was restocked with towels and toiletries and garbage cans were emptied, but the beds weren't made. When I asked about that, I was told that this was due to covid (which doesn't really make any sense to me). read more

We enjoyed our stay in Logan at this hotel. It was clean and well kept. The lobby is very modern and welcoming. At night it's very well lit and easy to find. All of our interactions with the staff were great. Very nice people. Our hotel room had plenty of space, the bathroom was nice and well stocked. The bed was not too hard, not to soft. Nice pillows. The tv service and channels was a pretty good selection. There were lots of kids running around. It's not the hotel's fault, but It was difficult to relax in the pool and hot tub areas because yelling and screaming echo significantly in there so be warned. The complimentary breakfast was a good selection and there were plenty of comfortable places to sit. The parking lot has lots of space which is nice. Would return. read more

This is certainly not the most exciting or original place to stay, but it certainly gets the job done. The decor matches the decor of all newly decorated hotels of its type. The breakfast isn't too exciting, however it is free. The room was completely clean. They provided us with extras of all the things we needed such as shampoo, conditioner etc. The indoor hot tub was a great temperature and felt very clean. The location isn't too appealing, but if you need to stay near this part of Logan this hotel is a perfect place to stay. read more

The breakfast team is always helping me get an amazing start to my morning and the pool is the best I've seen in this valley. I've been here twice now for work and the staff really is a step above the usual. They regularly have the front desk staffed with 2 people and the guy working last 2 nights I checked in offered everyone to take their bags up. Certainly not a big deal to me but a real nice touch of service. Of course the room is clean and brand new, not unlike a lot of IHG brands and the breakfast is exactly what you'd expect. A famnily wedding brought us to this hotel, we negotiated a large block of rooms at a discounted rate. When we got to the hotel they had increased our daily room rate by 75% and told us it was because they were sold out and this was their sold out pricing. They are a Holiday Inn Express franchise which means that if you complain to the corporate Holiday Inn Express there is nothing they can do. After we complained and were irritated about the price increase they took 10 dollars off the price, which was completely unsatisfactory but better than nothing. Then we went to load all our stuff into the elevator, we had 4 rooms worth of people and luggage. There was 2 luggage racks 3 kids and one adult in the elevator. The maintenance man saw the nearly full elevator and proceeded to come over shove through everyone waiting for the next elevator and scream at the people in the elevator. He told them it was unsafe for them to be in the elevator like that and on and on, but when we said, OK, some of the people could get off he said, no, just don't put that much in it next time. I confronted him about his outburst and he said that is was not a weight issue, that if there is too many people in the elevator (we had 4...3 of which were under 10 years old) that it can set off an alarm and it is a pain for him to deal with. He made my 2 children scared to stay at this hotel, my daughter who is 3 cried when he started yelling at us. Overall unsatisfied and would never stay there again. The room itself was excellent. Very Clean, well kept, comfortable bed and choice of firm or soft pillows on the bed. In room coffee, microwave, refrigerator, iron, ironing board, and blow dryer. There were plenty of outlets for charging all of our equipment (phones, computer, camera, etc) Plenty of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouth wash. Breakfast was included and was tasty and lots of Choices and the lady in charge was very happy and welcoming.The stay was GREAT - The Manager Was TERRIBLE. She is very abrasive and does not know the word compromise. She would not check with the person we booked the room with for the rate and terms quoted. It was, SHE IS RIGHT and I (the customer) WAS WRONG. She would benefit from a class in personality skills. I have the quoted rate in my email, showed it to her and she still charged my card the difference between the quoted rate and the regular room rate. I have disputed this charge with my bank and may dispute both charges if she continues to be her own personal style of charming. I would would recommend staying here. Great Place but if you have to deal with Keely - I would certainly request a different front desk manager.
