Meh. When we checked in it seemed like your average mid-range hotel. It smelled musty in the hallways. Curtains were hanging limply from one side. Room had seen plenty of use, and housekeeping didn't do the best job vacuuming as a few obvious pieces of litter remained. Ice is only available on the ground floor. Still, none of this would have driven me to leave a review but the kicker was the refusal to clean our room except on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (unless you specifically request it, but they don't tell you that in advance). The room has two tiny trash cans that are full, I was expecting at least fresh towels, remaking beds (not sure I want to touch that mattress...hoping the stain isn't blood), And hoping this time housekeeping would get all the litter from the floor that was left from before we checked in. For $160 a night I expect a bit more effort.

What a dump. Mold growing on bathroom walls. Ice machines missing or broken. Dirty carpets. Automatic faucet fixtures that don't work and are rusted out as well. GOGgle maps had this dump classified as a 3 star hotel which I knew was dubious as I've stayed at other LQIs which are usually 2 star. User rating was 3.7. It wasnt even 0.37.

The employees are very helpful. The view is beautiful This isn't a very great hotel but I see the effort. I swam in the pool which was nice and they have a workout area which isn't open due to COD-VID Honestly it seems kind of dirty. There usually isn't coffee in the lobby it's usually out. Overall it's a decent stay.

More than a day after asking someone to please remove ice, this was dumped in the wheelchair/handicap access path.

Our stay at La Quinta was very disappointing given we have gad good experiences previously at La Quinta. The staff werevery nice. Problems: 1. Cockroaches in bathroom - photo attached 2. Breakfast area not clean and had a foul odor. 3. The chairs in yhe breakfast area sit super low and make it hard to eat at the tables. 4. There was ice covering the handicap parking area where you get out of the car. My special needs son almost went down about every time we went out there. We did request they please clean the ice. More than a day later, someone dumped a bumch or ourple salt there (they never shiveled the ice). By the second day this was the situation. Clearly they do not know how to remove ice. No oke dumps salt like that that has any experience with ice removal fo guests. 5. We asked for a quiet room as my son is a super light sleeper. We were placed next to the laundry room and the machine sounds like a jet engine warming up. Not great. I would recommend finding an AirBNB or another hotel - maybe the Marriott for a few dollars more. It's worth it.

Used towel in bathroom when we arrived

The towels were covered in heavy stains, there was a leftover towel in the bathroom from either the cleaning crew or a previous guest. There was visible debris and a penny on the bathroom floor, very apparent that it had not been swept. No conditioner or cups in the room, we had to go to the front desk to ask for cups.

Run run run away! I had someone try to get into my room at midnight. I'm fairly certain someone was selling drugs in the room next to mine because I counted at least 15 different people stopping by and/or arguing loudly after midnight. There also was a poop stain on the wall. And no, they would not give me a new room.

We have stayed at this laquinta many times and theres really never been a problem until now. We stayed here thur to sat ( valentines day). When we got there our room was DIRTY! We figured that since friday we were going to be gone most of the day, that when house keeping came they would clean everything since if was pretty obvious that it was dirty. We came back friday evening...our towels were replaced, bed was made and it was vacuumed but nothing was wiped down! Nothing! We were pretty disgusted. Also the whole time we stayed there housekeeping had their kids "helping" them. They were staying in one of the rooms but they were running up and down the halls laughing constantly pretty early in the morning. We asked them nicely to quiet down since we were still sleeping but all we got was dirty looks and no quiet. Our stay was not as nice as it has been in the past...quite disappointed!

We needed a getaway to Bear Lake and everything was booked. LAQUINTA inn was our choice because we had our Diesel (dog) with us. Being that this place is DOG friendly I was expecting smelly but it was very clean. Staff was kind and accommodating. Room is HUGE. We got two queen AND there's a LIVING room area which is big as well. FOR NINETY DOLLARS THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!

Absolutely horrifying. The bathrooms are disgusting (photos attached). I actually like the look of the room but the lack of cleanliness is sickening. Other guests that stay here are obnoxiously loud and rude. They allow their children to run boisterously through the halls, yelling, playing and slamming doors. This is my second time here and i am livid. From 7am to 10 pm there are unruly RUDE LOUD guests and management doesn't even attempt to create a peaceful environment for other people. Bye.

Peeling wallpaper, dirty hand towels, and mold in the shower are but a few of the surprises you might find if staying here. I usually stay across the street, but they were booked. I have never stayed in a hotel with this many issues. When I originally checked in, I was given a room that wasn't cleaned yet. I had no idea when they relocated me to the first floor, this is what I would find. I absolutely will not stay here again. The hotel is an obvious remodel of and older motel.

One of the things we liked most was the desk/table in the middle of the room that allowed two people to work on either side of it! Also the barn door covering the bathroom area was a really great privacy feature without taking up any extra space. Their breakfast was out of this world delicious! All the staff members we came in contact with were extremely polite and friendly! Definitely gonna try this hotel again, and next time hope to have more nights and maybe take a dip in the pool too!

Additionally, parking is free and there's plenty of it. It was fortuitous that even though it's on the main street, there aren't many cars passing by; this is nice as a ton of passing cars tends to keep me awake at night. They've also got a nice indoor pool sand jacuzzi. Their workout area is 25% bigger than the other places I've seen and features a lot of free weight dumbbells and disposable headphones. Overall, it was a nice stay if you're willing to spend a little more money.

$265 for one night in a dark musty basement…read more I can't speak for the other flats on the other floors, but I honestly don't know how they get away with charging close to $300 a night and calling a dark basement with no windows luxury. The photos online are incredibly deceptive. They make it look like a modern studio flat with plenty of natural light. The truth is that it is in the basement of an early 1900s building with 2 sliver slats of glass. It's dark, it's musty smelling. Also not mentioned on their website is that it is literally spitting distance from a giant mortuary. Now for some, that might be a selling point, but not for us. There were giant cobwebs in the tiny window slats and yes, we did see a giant spider that eluded us and made our "sleep" not restful. Speaking of the bed, not comfortable. Again, this place is advertised as LUXURY. Their words. Not mine. It's fine to call something rustic or industrial, but this room in particular is being sold as something it isn't. The bedding was hot, the bed was a rock, but it does vibrate on command if you are into that. If this place were closer to $100 a night then I could maybe see this being just a weird night and a funny story. But there are other hotels in the area that charge $100 less and offer a free breakfast and you don't have to clean up after yourself. This is not a boutique hotel, it's an Air b&b. Little things: Website says bathrooms are stocked with Aveda products, they were not. Websites says to enjoy complimentary snacks (bottles of arrowhead water and 4 bags of chips) You have to do your own dishes The water pressure is TERRIBLE There wasn't much hot water at night Despite being in the basement it was weirdly hot Whatever they are using to clean was irritating our eyes the entire time. Again, it's one thing to call a spade a spade and charge accordingly. This company is not being honest about these accommodations and they are charging luxury prices. This is a small town in the off season. We booked this room specifically because we wanted to have a nice luxury hotel stay. We aren't rich and this was a stretch for us to afford but again, it was supposed to be a luxury experience. So disappointed. We didn't sleep and we are out almost $300

Second, breakfast was perhaps one of the worst things we have ever tasted at a bed and breakfast. The fritatta was like soggy cardboard and somehow, oatmeal was incredibly bland even with the extras. Strongly suggest instead you find the local coffee shop named after the bird and go there. I called the front desk to get a new stopper for the tub. The lady at the front apologized and told me she forgot to tell me it was missing, and offered another room. I had specficially booked the space room so no, I did not want a new room, I wanted a stopper. She suggested sliding the huge floppy disc they had provided as a backup down the wall and then holding it and it "should" hold. It did not. So after a five hour drive, no hot tub. Being as that a main point of an "anniversary" inn....So I was told to talk to the front desk in the a.m. and they'd amend the bill. I did so and was pretty much told they DID have extra stoppers, unsure why I wasn't given one, and she tried to leave it at that. I informed her I wanted a partial refund. I was told she'd pass this on to management. It took a WEEK of e-mailing on FB and to the e-mails to get a response, and only did after I threatened a charge back. I was offered something like 10% off my next stay. Number one: You get something like 15% off if you book within 2 weeks another stay, so this was less than that and I am NOT coming back. Two: No. I asked for a partial refund. Finally after negotiating, I got something like the tax and a small percentage back which was how much I spent on coffees at the cafe after such a horrible breakfast. Never again.
