Yes. Yes, I would absolutely recommend tgis hotel to anyone needing to stay in the Soring Hill area. We weren't supposed to stay here, but this is where we ended up and Im glad we did. All the staff is super friendly and happy. The rains are clean, with all Dove products (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion and hand wash). There is a pool, but we didn't have time to use it. The continental breakfast, 7:30-9:30) has everything you could possibly want for breakfast. They have coffee and tea in the lobby 24hrs. They also have snacks, drinks, ice cream and frozen options for sale. Our room had a fridge and microwave and I assume they all do. Very happy wirh our stay :) read more

I have been staying at the Holiday Inn in Spring Hill, Florida, for the past month while a family member was receiving hospice care. During what has been a very difficult time for our family, the hotel staff made a meaningful difference in our experience. Charmaine consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed at breakfast and always took the time to check on how we were doing. Her kindness, compassion, and genuine concern were greatly appreciated. I would also like to recognize Beth, James, Kelly, and the housekeeping staff who cleaned our room daily. They were always attentive, professional, and accommodating. They worked with us as we needed to extend our stay and made sure we had everything necessary to be comfortable during our time away from home. Their exceptional customer service, empathy, and dedication helped make a challenging situation a little easier to bear. It was a great experience; the room was spotless, and the staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and served by friendly staff. Prices were excellent for the level of service and amenities that were offered. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for meticulous clean rooms and great customer service. Beautiful property, everything was super clean and sanitizing stations throughout the building. Staff was super friendly, courteous and accommodating. Most hotels have suspended breakfast, but a continental selection was available and served by staff. This hotel was by far the best hotel I have stayed in since COVID started. Super nice people but not a fan of the up keep of the property. Rooms were not clean, first room we were giving stunk of mold and cigarette smell. Second one was better but did have a funky smell. The AC did not work good and we found a few bugs rooming with us(roaches). We were in Spring Hill for a funeral and this is a small area with few hotels to pick from so good luck finding a real nice hotel. read more

This has been the first Holiday Inn that I have stayed at in years that I would not return to. Things started out well with a friendly lady at the front desk, she was accommodating to our needs (a handicap-accessible room). The room that we received was nowhere near the best room we have stayed in with these features, but we made it work. The only reason that I am writing this review is to complain about the horrible manager. I do not know his name, but he made a lasting impact. I was sharing a room with someone who was in a wheelchair and did not feel like coming down for breakfast. The previous day had been hard on him, so I went down to the breakfast room and went to get him breakfast. The lady prepping the meal was very nice, but then the manager came down and said that we were not allowed to take food back to our rooms. He then told the lady that she needed to be enforcing that rule and then he threatened to fire her. This deeply upset me, because I now worry that I have gotten this poor woman fired, for a rule that I have never heard of in any of my previous hotel experiences. I hope that she was able to keep her job until she can find a better one with a manager who has some decency. read more

Have you ever heard of a hotel that does not have any soap? I was told by the people at the front desk that I should buy some and they would reimburse me. That was after I was told they would give me some extra shampoo thought it was the same thing and I could use that. The air-conditioners were not working properly and you felt like you had a missed over you at all times. The continental breakfast had what must've been powder eggs that they put in the refrigerator and kept putting out each day I was there. They forgot to clean my room two times. Although the new owner had only been there in a week he seemed like a nice person and realized all the problems. Maybe in the future it'll get better. read more

My parents stayed there for over a week while they were closing on their home. The management and staff there made sure they made them feel at home. Nice rooms, great breakfast and a smiling staff. My parents loved it and were very comfortable. I would recommend staying there to anyone. read more

Walked in and the entire lobby was being renovated. I thought I was at the wrong hotel. Wasn't impressed with the noise level after the first minute. Checked in and Adam was the nicest guy ever. Apologized for the construction, got me checked in with a room FAR away from any demo. It was a very quiet hotel all times of the day. I was in town for a family reunion and Adam even sent a thank you card to my room letting me know to have fun at the family reunion and if there was anything i needed just ask. This hotel was a huge disappointment...room was dingy and smelled horrible...it had obviously been smoked in and they tried to cover it up with fabreeze or something similar. We had reserved a king size bed for our room but they gave us a suppose it upgrade of two queen beds which we did not want. We had to move the couch to the side of one queen bed so our small child would not fall off the side. When we did so we found a lot of filth on the carpet underneath it.However instead of only giving this place three stars I have to give it the extra star because the staff was extraordinary. They were extremely courteous and helpful on every occasion and at every level. The place does need some upgrades but I would stay there again just knowing that we would be taken care of by their incredible staff. read more

We arrived late last night. The Person on duty greeted me when I came in and had me quickly on way way. We have a two queen bed. Has a mini fridge and microwave. Table and chairs. Spacious in the bathroom area. Very clean. Comfortable beds. We have a view of pool which we will go In later. The breakfast was delicious. Lots to choose from. Yogurt and many varieties of milk and condiments. Lots of hot items to choose from along with fruit and pastries and bagels and such. The lady at the breakfast, Alicia, I think her name is, was so sweet and friendly. She was very helpful. read more

I made a reservation to stay at this hotel on 11-4 -20. When I arrived I was checked in by Hanna. There was no mention of water problems they were having. I went to the room and put things away and got ready for a shower and found there was only steaming hot water. I tried calling the front desk 3 times and no answer. I got dressed again and went to the front desk and was then told they knew of the problem. I went back to the room and gathered my belongings and went back to the front desk. I mentioned that it would be a common courtesy to mention known problems before someone waisted their time checking in and finding a room with an unusable restroom. This comment was met with chuckles from Hanna and a guy behind the front desk. I asked for a zero balance receipt and was told they don't give those out. I called Holiday Inn Customer Care and was given apologies and an offer of 15k points for waisting an hour and half of my time and I ended up talking to Paul as throwing points out didn't seem like a plan to keep this from happening to others. Paul would only offer the same so the problem probably will not be addressed. This Holiday Inn is a poorly run organization and is unlike the many Holiday Inns I have stayed in before. Pretty pathetic hotel. 1. They were out of soap. No this is not a joke they were actually out of soap. They were out of soap for at least three days. So if you used the bathroom or needed to clean yourself in the shower their solution was "use shampoo". How a hotel not the less a chain can't manage to stock soap is beyond me. There is a Walmart down the road which they could have easily bought a temp supply from. 2. The fitness center. The tv didn't work, the elliptical didn't work, no cups for water and extremely small. 3. The breakfast. The breakfast consisted of pastries and bread. No pancakes, waffles and popular cereal ( they had cereal just not the popular brands like Cheerios). 4. The wifi. The wifi is very unreliable and couldn't hold a signal. 5. The customer service. Basically can't help you with anything. Read the other reviews. Really just a bad experience. read more

Beautiful establishment the place was perfectly clean breakfast totally enjoyable great staff willing to help me with all my needs immaculate very clean pool very clean gym facilities perfect what more could you ask for the only problem I had with this place was my mattress me and my wife slept on felt like we were on a piece of metal and we did that for a week but other than the mattress I enjoyed my stay I enjoyed the management and all of its staff highly recommended but please get some softer mattresses LOL read more

Don't stay here....Terrible front desk! Stood at the front desk for at least 10 minutes waiting to check in. Lo and behold, the front desk person was the woman I passed on the way in. She stayed outside sitting on a bench and smoking a cigarette while I waited for her to finish. She checked me in with a 1st floor room. Before I went to the room I asked if she had something on a higher floor. She said no. The room was terrible (landscaping lights shone in window/noisy/ no privacy). I went back to the front desk and said I wasn't going to stay in the room. She argued with me saying the room was fine and I had to stay in it. As I started to leave the hotel she said she would find me another room on the 2nd floor. This clerk named Dawn was horrible. Never will stay at a Holiday Inn again. read more

Don't bother! Before we booked a room we asked about an exercise room. The owner/manager (we found out later) told us where it was but he didn't bother to tell us both treadmills were out of order. We are traveling for most of 3 months so we need to exercise in the morning or gain lots of weight. The palm trees were dead by pool. We booked at Hampton for tonite. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever!! Dawn the front desk Rep had the nerve to ask me to leave with "my crazy kids" kids who had been strapped in for 3 hours. They were walking around the lobby talking to each other. I would recommend this location to no one! Stayed here for a week while visiting relatives in Spring Hill. Great hotel, very clean, reasonable prices, great customer service. Breakfast was an added plus, save money every morning. This hotel is ok. It's clean and really close to Weeki Wachee. However the beds were not comfortable and the pillows were crap. My wife and I woke up several times during the night just from being uncomfortable. Breakfast was practically cleaned out when we got down there at 8:30am. The area is not bad so I guess what I'm saying is you can do better, you can do a lot worse. read more

So while my boyfriend and I visited Spring Hill, we stayed at this hotel...we've stayed in Holiday Inn Express' before in different locations and overall have always been satisfied...on our 3rd day, the maids were outside our door and asked if we needed service, of course we said yes please because besides getting the trash taken out, they hadn't done anything to our room yet...got back to our room on this day and still our room had not been attended to, so we went to the front desk and talked to the manager about our experience and he would not do anything for us but give us some toilet paper...I would say to anyone that plans on staying here for an extended period, don't expect your room to be cleaned or management to do anything about it read more

I want to start by thanking the staff members for making my family and I stay wonderfully. I have to say that even though the hotel was in renovation it was clean and smell great. All the facilities was perfectly clean and organized. I was impressed. The breakfast was awesome! Hot breakfast, pancakes, biscuits, sausage and gravy, sausage links and turkey sausage for someone like me who doesn't eat pork, scramble eggs and ommelette, biscuits, bagels, fruits, yogurt, beverages, etc, etc. Our room was spacious, clean, smell great, air conditioner was working awesome, bathroom was super clean with everything we needed. Immaculate. Nice and quiet. We had great nights of sleep and it was peaceful. My iron was not working and they replaced it for me immediately. I loved how they gave us a thank you card hand written for staying with them, that was great and cute. We will choose this hotel again. Our experience was wonderful. We have no complaints. My son who is 12 yrs. old. loved the staff and his room. He enjoy the pool. Thank you again for making our stay enjoyable. Returned to my room today at approximately 2:15 p.m. (having departed before 5 a.m.) only to find it had not been serviced by housekeeping. Complained to "guest services" (that's a joke) who is competent at passing the buck, but not at resolving guest service issues. Got referred to the "head housekeeper" who could not tell me when my room would be serviced (or when I could expect to take the nap I had returned for) -- So I checked out and won't return. There's a dearth of decent hotels/motels nearby; but what's really missing is people who know how to run what otherwise could be a decent facility. Stayed two days....left before breakfast being served each day so can't comment on the food. Room appeared decently cleaned, although the odor of some overused "air freshener" lingered. Not only would I not recommend...I strongly suggest you try to find another alternative. read more

I booked this reservation in order to stay go to Weeki Wachee water park. I arrived at aprox 5pm and was treated very rudely by the receptionist/staff. I originally had requested a non smoking- pet free room due to my daughter being severly allergic. I was put on a smoking floor. As soon as you step out of the elevator the stench of smoke hits you. The room was mediocre, the bathroom was dirty, urine on the toilet seat. I decided to overlook everything since it was only going to be a short stay. My children were tired of being locked up in a car all day so I decided to take them to the pool. The pool was dirty and filled with soot or some floating stuff. When I asked the front desk, "Can someone clean the pool?" I was told, "Absolutely not, the pool service will be in the morning! And please keep your daughter's hands off the sliding door or I'm going to have them clean the windows!" I was appalled and quickly checked out. I was further demeaned when the frontdesk clerk said she would have to go with me upstairs to check the room. She had the audacity to count the towels and said," Good you didn't take any!" When she said, "Im sorry you didn't like the room" I expressed to her it was the poor service and conditions of the hotel that was sorry. Please don't stay here or with any Holiday Inn. Customer service refused to help me or credit my account. I had to place a claim through my credit card company. read more
