There are beautiful views of the gulf. I would recommend reservations. It is packed at 4:30. There is an early bird dinner. The difference is smaller portions. For example you get one piece of grouper instead of two. We had 1/2 pound of steamed shrimp which I forgot to photograph for starters. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and delicious. I ordered the fried grouper and fries. It was the flakiest fish I have ever eaten One diner has the broiled grouper. She didn't eat it because she didn't like the seasoning. Another diner ate a bite and was a fan One diner had the seafood Alfredo and loved it The New England clam chowder was excellent. The other diner loved the broiled flounder. Nobody had room for dessert.

We ate here on a Sunday around 1 pm. The location is great, right on the water in Hudson. They have plenty of seating with both indoor & outdoor options. The restaurant was cool so bring a sweater if you're sensitive to that. It was clean and the service was great. They have a lunch menu with a nice variety of options, my husband had the fried grouper with fries. The fish was a nice portion and it had a breadcrumb type breading. It was good. Nothing spectacular but it tasted fresh. The specials also came with soup or salad and we both got the Manhattan clam chowder. The soup was hot and it tasted nice but was on the saltier side. I had the captain's seafood platter with crab legs, fried shrimp and fried clams with coleslaw for the side. The fried seafood seemed like frozen and fried- it tasted okay but nothing special. The crab legs were a nice cluster and hot. The coleslaw was very sweet. The portions were plenty & we were full! Overall, we liked our food we just weren't blown away and for a $70 bill, we aren't sure if we'd go back or not.

Ok. Been living in Sea Ranch for 7 years. Inn on the Gulf is my go to place. I love it. The food is always outstanding. The bartenders , especially Nicole , really take care of the customers and "know" their drinks. In my opinion- best thing on the menu is anything to showcase the homemade blue cheese dressing. I wish they would put a buffalo shrimp or buffalo chicken salad on the menu. They will make them; but it forces the servers to really go above and beyond. Overall I love this place. You can't go wrong. Best food in the west Pasco area for sure.

Just wow! This place was epic. My husband and his friend got the calamari appetizer and it was huge and apparently delicious. I had the saganaki (flaming cheese) and it was probably the best one I've ever had. Huge portion and crispy outside! Yum! My husband had the special which was grilled grouper, 3 local scallops, 3 Gulf shrimp, and 2 sides! I think it was $34 and massive portions. Truly amazing deal for such high quality food! We got the fries and greek salad as our sides but they had so many options to choose from including sautéed veggies, clam chowder with either white sauce or red sauce, etc. Amazing! Thank you!

This is worth the wait but please note that I highly recommend the call ahead seating! Our waitress was polite, quick and professional. The portions are huge and the seafood was cooked perfectly. The calimari batter was light and very tender. The mussels in scampi sauce were perfect with bread to soak up the remaining sauce. YUM! Great service by nice people. We will definitely come back here.

Great service and excellent food! Can't remember our waitpersons name but they were fabulous. We were celebrating our anniversary and the restaurants were between Sam's beach bar vs Inn on the Gulf, the win went to Inn on the Gulf because it was 10 minutes shorter wait time. We started off with mozzarella sticks and crab cakes which were fantastic. The crab cakes were made with fresh crab and had a lemony pepper sauce. We had ribeye with crab legs and steak potatoes and side salad. Shrimp scampi linguine with a cup of soup, chicken and orzo. Classic cheeseburger with steak potatoes. The seating out on the patio nearby beach access, the music that was too loud if we had stayed at Sam's was just perfect from the Inn on the Gulf. We finished the dinner with a slice of keylime pie and the Vesuvius. Both were phenomenal!

Earlier this month, I met a few of my nieces and nephews for dinner at the Inn on the Gulf restaurant at Hudson Beach. We had reservations for 7:15pm inside. We arrived as scheduled, but the Florida weather was surprisingly nice and breezy so we asked to be seated on the covered patio. Not a problem! Tables and chairs for five were quickly pulled together outside. Heather greeted us as our server. She was very friendly and provided excellent service throughout the evening. Our orders started with calamari and stuffed mushrooms on to entrees of steaks, grouper, and Gulf shrimp with side dishes and drinks. Heather was very attentive and keenly anticipated our needs. By the end of the evening, she was saying, let's see what Auntie has to say about this question. And we laughed and had a great time! We have dined here a few times before, although not together. In the past, the food has always been delicious, kept warm, and served timely. Tonight we expected nothing less and you nailed it! As usual, the sunset views of the Gulf are spectacular!

calamari. smelled like the low tide.

But enough about the net, since it's not a telecom place. The Days Inn located right off US 19 looks like your typical touristy road hotel, but there are a few extra comforts I was pleasantly surprised by, especially after my Hillsdale stay in San Fran a few months back. For example, a pool and outdoor hot tub (with room for 2:) The kiddies have a swing set - and yes it's a great way to decompress after meetings! The AC is freezing cold and the bathroom is spacious - almost the width of the room. My king size bed was deliciously comfortable with a firm mattress. Although there's no restaurant as part of the property, it's centrally located with a bunch of restaurants about a 5 minute drive. Free continental breakfast is included in the fee, and I'm tempted to take away a half star because they didn't have waffles. I suppose they could add a waffle iron and do the make-your-own-waffle mix I've enjoyed at other business hotels. However, the friendly service and convenient location to my meeting site round it up to 5 stars. I will be back!

I was pleasantly surprised by this Days Inn location. At check-in, the gentleman at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is in a prime location, not far from restaurants, shops and attractions. On premises, there is a pool, a hot tub and a sauna/steam room. I didn't expect these considering the price for a Saturday night stay during spring break. Very impressive. Parking was also very convenient, as I didn't have to walk far to my room. Even breakfast was full of a variety of options. The only two minor downsides would be the lack of a refrigerator in the room and the fact that the carpet in the room was old/worn. Otherwise, no major issues and I would highly recommend staying here!

HORRIBLE. IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THIS HOTEL FOR A BUSINESS OR LEISURE STAY, READ ENTIRE REVIEW! I…read morerarely post reviews however I could not let this go. The only positive was the front desk lady who was kind & accommodating. The hotel is primarily used by FEMA for displaced persons & families, veterans, etc - which is not a bad thing it is just not the place for a person needing a good night sleep in a comfortable, peaceful environment. The property is ridden hard and shows wear. The rooms are BARE BONES. My room - an upgrade or so I was told had (a) electrical tape covering most electrical outlets & door peephole. (b) I had non-working lights due to bad bulb. I swapped one from another light so I could work at the desk with a light (c) The bathroom had 2 small bars of soap and 2 small shampoo's ONLY. No bath gel, no conditioner. No cups, no soap dish - nothing. BARE. The walls had some type of splatter spots - blood, waste - who knows. It was disgusting. (d) The sofa was worn hard, stained, ripped - I wouldn't even sit on it with clothes. (e) No closet of hangars. 2 pegs on the wall to hang clothes. (f) The bedding consisted of a flat sheet and a thin coverlet only. No blanket. THE WORSE THING WAS THE NOISE. Since it is a residential property, people congregate in the halls and foyers and socialize during the night-time and after work. And before you ask - YES - I did go to the office AND CALL. They don't have conditioner for the shower. They do not have blankets available. She offered an extra thin coverlet and then an old bed runner. That was all they had. I had to ask for hangars (and got 2), and iron. No lightbulbs available but would bring one to me later (most likely needed to go to store first to buy). They also have a non-working ice machine! The woman was very gracious and kept apologizing and thanking me for "giving them a chance". Starting at about 7:00pm, social hour started outside my door. By 9:30pm I was frustrated, uncomfortable and repeatedly called the office. (MY RESERVATION DID REQUEST A QUIET LOCATION!) At my 2nd call, I was put on hold and never picked back up. I should have checked out and asked for a refund at that point but it was late in the day and I had to work the next morning early. I was unfamiliar with the area and did not want to start looking for another hotel in the area especially in tourist season. I felt unsafe at this point. I did not want to leave my room while people were outside in groups and place myself in a potentially confrontational situation. By 11pm or so, the noise died down. In the morning I dressed quickly (no shower - the bathroom was gross and poorly provisioned) and went to the front desk to check out. The clerk was inconvenienced when I asked for a printed receipt. He confirmed my email and told me he sent it. I asked for a printed copy and he responded by asking why the email wasn't sufficient. I again requested a printed copy which he eventually provided along with clear annoyance. As an FYI - his email DID NOT include the receipt. It was not attached. Once I got home, I tried for a full day, unsuccessfully to reach Wyndham at the corporate level. When I did reach someone, they offered to pass on the info and would have someone reach out to me within a weeks time. She then provided the corporate number in New Jersey which each of the dial option were non functioning other than to direct you back to the main call center. THIS location is a terrible reflection of the Wyndham brand - a name that we can normally trust to provide quality accommodations. The property itself and its reservation center should inform people that it is used a primary residential property for displaced and homeless persons. The property is not well-kept - and that has nothing to do with age. It clearly caters to a non-vacationing/business traveler. And its rooms and property reflects this. I welcome a call from their corporate office. My contact info is on my reservation.
