Love the shower and love the Watkins products
    Brandy E.

I love the shower, I love the Watkins products! The pillows on the bed or amazing! The mattress is a little firmer than I would like but the pillows made up for it and I slept really good. Staff is friendly and helpful. I wish I would have taken pictures of the room. It's very nice. I like the bench they have in the room because you can sit your suit case on it to keep from having to lay it on the floor and bend over. I would recommend staying here!

I've stayed here twice now and had a wonderful experience both times! From check-in to check out, everything went smoothly. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. They're also very helpful. The location is great. It's within minutes of everything in Greater Tampa Bay including Honeymoon Island, New Port Richey, Clearwater Beach, The Sponge Docks of Tarpon Springs, Odessa and Lutz. There's a growing variety of restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores in the area. Complimentary hot breakfast buffet is from 6:00 AM to 9:30 AM Monday to Friday and 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM Saturday, Sunday and holidays. The breakfast includes fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon and/or sausage, biscuits, muffins, pour-your-own pancakes, juice, yogurts, milk, and more. The coffee station is hot and fresh 24/7. Amenities include a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, sun deck with fire pit and grill, hammock, corn hole game, 24-hour fitness center, Wi-Fi, business center, etc. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and spacious. The modern decor in the lobby extends to all the hallways and rooms. Beds are comfortable. I've slept in both their double beds and king bed. Absolutely no complaints about this hotel. Will stay again if in the area.

Proof the front desk received our package, two days before we checked out.
    Douglas S.

What a horrid, terrible experience here. We were hosting a seminar for a government agency at this location. We explained that we had two small packages coming in and we'd appreciate it if they could get the packages either to our room, or hold at the front desk for our seminar. We were clear on arrival, clear the next morning (day the packages were expected), and clear in our questioning on the third day before the seminar began. Each time, we were told "don't worry, we deal with packages all the time." We never received the packages (more on that later) Then, the evening of the seminar, we discover that Eric at the front desk, had made an error and we didn't have a reservation for that night, so we had 30 minutes to get out of our room following our seminar, to move to another room that he'd "taken the liberty to reserve because of the mistake." Oh, BTW, you'll have to move to ANOTHER ROOM for the next night, due to "our mistake." We said "screw it" and decided to move to our next hotel two nights early, as we were teaching at another city 3 hours away. Before leaving, we asked again for our packages that were expected two days previously, that Amazon had said were delivered "to the front desk." Again, we were told the package hadn't arrived. We left, drove the three hours to our next hotel, and I re-ordered the products for our AV system to be delivered at the current hotel. Two days later, we get a phone call from the front desk at the Odessa location. "We're really sorry, your packages did arrive, but they were delivered to the mailbox in our lobby. The front desk manager is the only one with a key, so it doesn't get opened very often. Gee, we're so sorry." And then, even though this was THEIR ERROR, they charged us $15.00 to ship it to our next hotel. Except, they didn't ship it per their promise, they held the package until two days ago (14 days after we've left their property), and called saying they'd ship it to our home, and tried to AGAIN charge ANOTHER $15.00 to send it to our home. They screwed up nearly everything they could, and collected extra cash from us to pay for our shipment that they screwed up in the first place. All this without pointing out that their staff wears masks around their necks, no Covid precautions in this hotel at all, dirty conference room, embarrassingly noisy staff (calling down the hallways to each other early in the a.m.) and a general trailer-trash approach to everything. The only redeeming thing about this junk property was the closeness to a decent Starbucks, and a couple great restaurants. We won't be back.

Let's skip the part where we review the hotel, and let's give a round of applause for the two most amazing employees. I want to start off with Anthony. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to meet this kind soul in person. Anthony is very professional and accommodating. He deserves five stars and probably a higher position because not even the general manager can compare. Next, I want to give a huge thank you to Rick, (RICKY as I called him) When shit hit the fan, Rick was there to save the day with a positive attitude. Very helpful and also accommodating, always checking in to make sure we were well. Thank both you gentle men for being the only good thing about our stay.

A relaxing moment at the firepit.

Let me explain my 2-star review! The front desk staff was amazing, and the grounds are wonderful. However, my first room smelled like smoke, so they moved me. My second room had two queen beds one set of sheets had old brown blood on them, and the other had hair in them, and the air conditioner didn't work, but since it was very cool that week it was no issue. I asked for a new set of linens and changed them myself. I stayed longer than initially planned, and they moved me to a third room, and there was a dead bug on one of the beds. The best part was enjoying the outdoor firepit bit. There was trash in the cushions of the big single chair, and the other cushions were dirty. The gentleman on the front desk gave me a towel. The breakfast was probably delightful. However, my one time down for breakfast, an older gentleman reached in and took bacon with his bare hands. The lady told him to use the tongs, and he dropped it back in the pan, grabbed the tongs, and took some bacon. She then added a new bacon and mixed it all up!

Stayed overnight here and was quite happy with the hotel. Besides the slight mishap of them putting me into a dirty unclean room they rectified it ASAP. The new room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby was clean and the breakfast area had much to offer from scrambled eggs, bacon, pancake station and plenty of yogurts. They have a nice coffee bar area and there is a Circle K and Marcos Pizza across the street. This hotel is very close to Medical Center of Trinity for those who travel and work in the medical field.

Wonderful stay here at the Trinity Holiday Inn Express for a nearby Wedding during Columbus Day Weekend. Staff was very kind and helpful throughout the entire stay. The hotel is spotless which was proved by witnessing employees constantly walking around, inspecting and putting misplaced chairs (and other items) in order. Room was great and had a very modern feel to it. Bed was very comfortable. Large breakfast and seating area in the lobby. Fitness center was adequate, clean and well kept. The back area is gorgeous, overlooking a little lake in the back. The area has a pool, hot tub, a few tables with chairs and hammocks. In the evening, the center of the tables are lit to become little firepits. It was a large group staying at the hotel for the wedding and we really had a few memorable nights back there with the family. Right near the hotel (walkable) is a pizza place and a Dollar General (Feel free to load up with snacks for the room there). If you drive about 5 mins, you will see a McDonalds, Taco Bell and Dunkin Donuts. My only complaint would be that though the continental breakfast extends later than most hotels until about 12PM?, going down at 11:40 is never a good idea, as it was already packed up, when I went down. The woman was nice enough to get me a few things out of the fridge, behind a closed door, but everything was literally put away already, which was a bit annoying. Overall a great stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area, even over more "prestigious" named hotels.

They try and charge $50 per pet, not the $30 listed. They will not honor this.

Ashley's Victorian Haven B&B was highly recommended, and for very good reason. This two-story house was built in the 1890's, and recently refurbished and stocked with a lot of period-piece antiques. Barbara and her husband, Larry, are the inn keepers and super-sweet people. They're long-time residents of Tarpon Springs, and can offer lots of helpful advice about what to see and do during your stay in the area. They bought this house, located in the old Historic District of Tarpon Springs, totally rebuilt and upgraded the place, and then named it after their daughter. There is room for three groups of people to stay within the B&B. The first floor of the house has a one-bedroom suite with two Queen-sized beds and a private bathroom with a walk-in, triple-headed shower, and a separate antique claw-foot tub. That's where we stayed. Also on the first floor is the kitchen, where coffee is served every morning starting at 7am. There is a very comfortable parlor with comfy seating on the antique sofas, and a large dining room with wonderful antiques on display. Step outside onto the front porch, and you have a porch swing, and plenty of quiet places to sit and read. Upstairs in the house is a second-floor suite, and out back is a covered patio with a smaller vacation cottage. We spent our late afternoons sitting on this back patio and visiting with Barbara and her husband. She used to own a well-known antiques store in town, and has decorated the Victorian Haven with some of her cherished pieces. Once Barbara starts brewing the coffee in the morning, all of the sleepy heads come staggering down to the kitchen to say Hi to one another and visit with Barbara. By 9am she has whipped up a fabulous breakfast including pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausages, and more, and we all sit down as a group around her dining room table. She checks in with each of the groups to inquire about our plans for the day, and then makes suggestions as to the best shopping, dining, and sightseeing options. The lady knows her stuff! The home is located around the corner from the Tarpon Spring City Hall and police station, and so the neighborhood is very safe and quiet. You'll be walking distance to the famous Sponge Docks area of Tarpon Springs, and it was nice to leave the car behind, and get a bit of exercise. At night, the restaurants and clubs were also an easy hike from the B&B. We had a fantastic weekend staying in a very clean and comfortable B&B, and really enjoyed our visits with Barbara. She gave us some great recommendations about the new places to explore along Dodecanese Boulevard, and also the antique stores in the historic downtown shopping area. If you're looking for a great, reasonably-priced place to stay in the Tarpon Springs area, then I highly recommend that you check out Ashley's Victorian Haven B&B. It's a fun place to get away from it all.

There is a small guest gym and pool available for use; however, access is limited due to capacity restrictions and Covid-19 safeguards. She had already spent over $3000 at this establishment while she looked for an independent living facility that met her needs and income. She thought that she was paid up until Monday, March 27, 2023. But something went wrong with the processing of her card. The evening attendant not only put her out of the hotel but would not let her sit outside the hotel. Two lifesaving police officers saw my aunt sitting outside with her belongings and were able to get her to a nearby hotel. This establishment did nothing to help my aunt including offering her the ability to contact someone who could help her, so I had no idea she was going through this experience. Throughout her stay, I tried to call her room several times through the front desk and through the automated line and was unsuccessful. Instead when I didn't visit her I had to contact her through her email. I don't believe the hotel has phone service. While I understand that establishments don't want people sitting inside or outside of their property, it seems staff would have more empathy for an 81 year old woman who has paid almost $3000 to stay at your establishment and been there for over a month. I am sure the staff member had seen her. They also said the hotel was full after she tried to get a room. This was a lie. According to my hotels.com app, there are still rooms available.

It tooks us 3 rooms to be satisfied enough to stay the night, which I now regret staying even that long. All of the rooms we were in had a small gap between the door and the frame, enough to let a decent amount of light into the room, which led us to question safety and efficiency of the locks. First room had mold and stains of many colors in both beds, and bird seed on one of the mattresses, beneath the sheets. There was mold in the shower, in the sink, and overall, the room was just not clean. There was, what looked to be, dirt caked into the paint on the wall the bed was against. After we reported the issues to the receptionist, a member of the staff asked us to show her where the seeds were. When we did, instead of properly cleaning the bed, she swiped the seeds onto the floor and put the sheet back on. We left after that, so who knows if they were left there. Second room, the fridge had been left open, and it had thawed all over the floor. It also had a cigarette burnhole in one of the beds, and the bathroom was filthy. Flash warning for the video, as the light in the bathroom flickered, and appeared to have some sort of electrical issue based on the sound coming from it. Third room was not great, but decent enough to sleep in for a night. Or so I thought. After the lights were out, I noticed not one, but two small cockroaches, meaning a nest is not far, with potentially hundreds more. They came from underneath the beds and were only spotted due to one crawling onto the nightstand between beds. I ended up not being able to sleep, opting for a nap in the car the next day. The shower itself was much cleaner in this room, appeared to be recently renovated. However, we did notice a dark patch in the roof that seemed to be mold growing beneath the paint. I will say, the area seemed safe and nice, the pool/courtyard area was very well maintained. If the rooms would be treated the same way, I guarantee it would be much nicer. Even though it wasn't a huge expense, I wouldn't stay here again, even if they paid me.
