I have stayed here a few times. Lots of parking in the back, the rooms have been clean for me, despite some reviews showing hair, I haven't had any problems in the past 3 years. The front desk is always friendly. The water is piping hot. King rooms come with a bathtub. The workout facilities is clean, and has a nice cable machine, elliptical, and treadmill, sadly no free weights if bench though, that would complete their gym. There is a pool for summer use, and their parking in back is covered for the hot summer month. The nice thing to is you can't really hear traffic outside of the highway. Maybe once an loud obnoxious straight piped Honda

    Bed bug bites

Bed bugs... I stayed in room 206 but it could of came from my coworker room because I was sitting on the couch in there before I went to my room to sleep. I've got about 8 bites on the back of my legs. Bed bug bites can become noticeable 2-14 days after bites depending on how the body reacts. Yesterday they were itching so bad and they're all about the same size. On the back of both legs and only on the back of my legs. Never have I ever had this experience before at a hotel. Or even with bed bug bites because they can in fact live in couches. But I should have known since there is a roach issue as well there. This place needs some serious cleaning up. There are companies that book here for business purposes and children and JUST PEOPLE IN GENERAL. This is a health hazard...

Room was cozy, bed was really comfortable. If you want a view, it's only gonna be wide open plains. The breakfast was an odd thing. What they did to the bacon should be against the law. And the eggs were just bad. The orange juice tasted like it was mixed with grapefruit juice. Just disgusting. Other than a female neighbor down the hall on the 3rd floor having a psychological break and going out into the hallway completely naked at around midnight after screaming bloody murder in their room, it wasn't too bad

This is the second time I stay at this location. Their are a couple of other hotels next door, but the Holiday Inn is by far the most modern and better looking. I actually enjoy staying at this location because you have a couple of fast food restaurants at walking distance. Right next door, you have a Subway, Starbucks and Burger King to choose from if you're looking for something quick to eat. I also like the fact that they have a large parking lot available and I don't have to be struggling looking for a parking space. They do have a small lobby and a small breakfast area which they do serve continental breakfast in the morning from 6am to 9:30am. There is also an outdoor pool at this location for those hot sunny days. Both times that I have been here. I have received great service from front desk and housekeeping. This is a great location If you are passing through and need a place to stay for the night. Remember it's located in a small town so don't expect to have much to do.

    Hair on floor

Have stayed here several times. Last time I was there there was pubic hair all over the floor !! Disgusting. Time before there was hair stuck to shower wall and a fridge leaking. I complained and showed pictures of the hair and they offered me $25 since I was a valued reward member. Minimum should have been comped for the night. Just terrible. Very disappointing. See for yourself. Yuck !!!

    In sheets more hairs

Paid $200 for our room got to room pulled back bedding as we always do hairs everywhere and little curly black ones at that I mean everywhere on the pillows bedspread sheets wrinkles in sheets as if someone definitely slept in it and was not changed. Crumbs all over chair and bathroom lotion was left open and 1/2 used. Bathroom had hairs in it. Called front desk they said there was no cleaning crew on been waiting over an hour plus for clean linens and had to vacuum our room myself after asking for a vacuum. No apology just we don't have any other rooms sorry no discount nothing to make it right. Will never stay at a holiday inn express again. Marriott all the way! Gross! Feel bad for the gal she is all alone but still having to wait for over an hour is ridiculous. We are starving and now 7:45pm and still waiting. Would have left if we could have been offered our money back for a new hotel. To top it off we had a spider in room and tv doesn't work so much for a peaceful break from our 15 hour drive. Keep driving on by this one!

So so disappointed in this lodging experience. We booked this trip directly through Holiday Inn; we did not go through a third party to book so any problems with this booking was directly on the Willows branch of holiday inn. We booked a room for our family of 6 adults/teenagers. They gave us a room with a king bed with a pullout bed. ??? They told us that they "MAKE NO GUARANTEES" when making a reservation. What the heck is a reservation for then? We crammed 3 in the king bed and 2 in the small, uneven, lumpy pullout bed and put one on the floor (we had to buy a sleeping bag). After the first night of this 3 night reservation we were told that they wouldn't /couldn't correct anything, change our room or compensate for their mistake. To make things worse we found dirty underwear from a previous guest under our bed (picture included). If you have recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Willows and recognize the underwear you can contact the front desk where I left them.

My husband goes here regularly for the motorcycle track days down the street, and we've stayed at this hotel a couple times. We also stayed at the hotel next door and the BW is significantly better, so we would never go to the other one by choice. This place is very clean, well organized and has great amenities. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Everything looks newly remodeled (and it might be), the carpets look and feel very clean, they're perfectly touching all the walls and corners, no parts where the carpet is already coming up or torn, etc. The bathroom is spotless with Dove accessories- soap, (the cutest little soap you've ever seen) lotion, shampoo and body wash (those are mounted to the wall so you don't get samplers). Our room didn't have conditioner which was a bummer, not sure if that's standard. I think this is such a key element because that means you're always going to get quality products. The shampoo and body wash smelled sooo nice, it filled the whole bathroom. There's a pool with a really nice hot tub and both are always very clean (and usually empty!). There is also a hot breakfast which I didn't taste, so can't attest to, but it looked legit! There's a cooler with milks, yogurt and a couple other things that we were able to access the night we got there, I'm not sure if that's always available, but we were able to get milks for my daughter for free! There was also a really effective black out curtain in our room, which made a huge difference, because I'm pretty sure the sun would have been shining right in our room in the morning. We also asked for a pack and play and they had a crib waiting for us with all the sheets put in it and it appeared to be very clean, so that was a relief. The staff was friendly and helpful and if we have to come back to Willows, we'll try to stay here again!

Plenty of parking, including parking for big rigs, and vehicles pulling trailers. I was checked in by Nadia, who was very friendly and very helpful. The lobby was very clean. The hotel also has a very decent sized indoor pool.... they also have a fitness center and a guest Laundry. My room was spotless. Plenty of plugs to charge my gear, the heater heated the room well. There was a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine. The bed was very comfortable.... The star of the room was that Jacuzzi tub. It's big enough to hold two people, and it was amazing. The Jacuzzi Jets were just so relaxing. There's a timer. It gives you 15 minutes of the Jacuzzi Jets. Unfortunately, the timer was across the room underneath the TV set. So when the Jets shut off, instead of getting out of the tub and walking across the room to reset the timer, I just soaked in that wonderful tub for almost another 10 minutes. I slept like a baby afterward. Breakfast in the morning is basic, cold cereal, they have a waffle machine, yogurt, and coffee. If you want more, there are plenty of good places to eat in town. The black bear diner is less than a half a block away, decent portions of great comfort food at decent prices. There was a problem with the TV set. I could get Netflix and YouTube, but none of the Dish Network channels. I mentioned it to Nadia, and she said there wasn't anything she could do. She gave me the email address for her supervisor. I emailed the supervisor, and he called me on my phone in less than 10 minutes. He told Nadia what she had to do to reset the TV set, and she came up and tried, but unfortunately, I just couldn't get the Dish Network. He offered to put me in a different room, but I had already unpacked. I asked if I could get a few dollars off the room rate, and he mentioned that I was already on the government rate. That was fair. At least they tried. In addition to what I did get off the TV, I also had my iPad. One other tiny glitch, while the Wi-Fi was fast enough to stream video, occasionally, it would either bog down, or disconnect for a few seconds. I just reset it on my iPad, and it was fine. This was a great night, and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you.

Finding a place for us to stay is always quite a bit challenging because we have a dog. Primarily, this place caught my attention as I was browsing through hotels.com because it welcomes pets and it's cheap, $32/night. He was a little hesitant because for $32 a night, you would not know what to expect. My expectation was way down at the bottom to be honest but all I cared is they welcome pets. For $32 per night (booked through hotels.com), I'd give this place 4 stars. Clean rooms, comfy and firm bed, HBO channel, hot shower, and offers breakfast. The parking is good and the place is conveniently located near the restaurants and gas stations. But just like most motels, it has a distinct funny smell that literally sticks with you tell you get home. So take a shower if you don't want to carry that smell around with you. The doors make this loud banging noise when you open and close them so try to make less noise as much as you can if you are considerate enough. I don't know why they didn't change the name to Willows' Travelodge yet but that's the new name now.
