The carpeting is a bit old, stained and worn and the walls could use a good washing, but the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast area was well stocked aside from the lady packing things up at a quarter to ten, but as we were checking out we saw that she was also trying to run the front desk. So they were obviously a bit short on staff today. In all this is a comfortable location at an affordable price & we'd stay here again.

We were traveling with our Cavapoo, Jameson. Upon arriving I was trying to book online, as the rate was $60. I couldn't get it to go through. I got to the hotel and the lobby doors were locked. Someone finally let me in. Another lady came at the same time. She had a large heavy suitcase and she found out there was no elevator, she asked to change to a first floor room. She was told they had none. I booked my room and was put in a first floor room, I guess because I had a dog? I found the service to be subpar and the lady was extremely slow... and charged me $129 for the stay! Along with a mandatory deposit of $40... although the signage clearly stated that the first pet stays for free. I was too tired to argue. I paid what she asked for with my credit card. The place is a complete DUMP. The environment was dirty and the odors in the lobby, hallways and our room were HORRIBLE. But, again, we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. The room was barren of any kind of furniture, only a bed. There was a stand for the TV... no closet. The door was open when we got to the room. There was linoleum on the floor that was sticky and wet. It didn't feel clean at all. There was matter, like crumbs on the bathroom floor. It was pretty disgusting, even staining on the comforter on the bed, but we stayed and slept and left first thing in the morning. I would NEVER recommend this disgusting, nasty place to an enemy. Me and my family stayed here Friday- Sunday this weekend for a softball tournament. At first, everything appeared okay in the room. It wasn't the nicest room i'd ever stayed in but it looked clean for the most part so we were satisfied with it. I did notice little things here and there like stains on the walls and lamps. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close completely. The first night went okay. The neighbors kept us up pretty late by being loud and partying but we didn't complain. The staff is rude. Me and my daughter were getting some ice out of the ice machine and one of the staff members came around with a huge cart and almost ran over us with it and yelled, "EXCUSE ME!" We literally had to walk around a corner to get out the way from being hit by this cart. The second night was the same. Loud neighbors, bad location, very very sketchy location. There are homeless people walking around everywhere hanging out around the hotel. The next morning around 4:30/5:00am is when it all went to hell. I opened my hotel door to put my suitcase in the truck and a GIANT PIT BULLDOG comes running into my room pouncing at my daughter's feet like trying to bite her! The owner, some drunk barefooted man (the loud neighbors), was trying to enter my room with my kids in there and I kept asking him to please not enter my room and to please leave and i'm yelling at this dog to get out of my room before it bit my daughter. This whole situation had me in tears and I went to the front desk and nothing was done. The man there said he was sorry and that was it and now they are working AGAINST Priceline to come to a resolution. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and will NEVER stay at another Quality Inn.

Since my stay was a late night check-in and I anticipated a break-of-dawn check-out, I asked for a discount, none given. So okay, full price for six hours in the room, whatever. The guy spoke to me from behind a bulletproof window, sliding things back and forth through a slot, which I gotta say doesn't bode well for the general sense of safety out here on the other side of that glass. Lol. Also a cash deposit was required (could not be added to card) fortunately I had it on me but that would have necessitated a run to the ATM, complete with surcharges, if I wasn't carrying cash. The room its self was certainly no frills (fine with me, all I needed was the basics). I was put in a wheelchair accessible room so it was likely more spacious than neighboring rooms, and I got to park in the handicap space. Clean, basic furnishings, good water pressure in shower. Bed was comfortable enough, nothing to write home about, but got the job done. Morning coffee was sufficient. The BEST part of this stay was waking up to find myself in the shadow of the famous Peachoid water tower. That was fun.
