Their power sockets were falling out the walls. Their toilet paper holder was falling out the walls there was garbage in the trash cans and the whole room reeked of cigarettes. when we went to the front desk and asked them to fix it. They told us there was nothing they could do about it the next morning we asked to speak with the manager. She told us that the manager would not be until later when the manager manager arrived, she was screaming at my husband after staying there, laughing and smoking cigarettes and drinking coffee with her coworker, pointing at my husband, she proceeded to tell my husband see what happens now while my husband was on the phone with Customer Service making a report I would not recommend this hotel. Staff members are very rude and disrespectful and the rooms are disgusting and nasty and are not cleaned like they say they are rude , they use proper cleaning supplies disinfectants that is not the case I have gotten sick because of staying in that hotel room and they refused to do anything about it. We called the manager about it and he was also very rude and disrespectful and hung up on us and told us well we processed your refund .

Way better experience from my previous visit a few years ago. I Sure missed having my wife and kids there with me though. Being solo in a hotel isn't my thing. She was told they had none. I booked my room and was put in a first floor room, I guess because I had a dog? I found the service to be subpar and the lady was extremely slow... and charged me $129 for the stay! Along with a mandatory deposit of $40... although the signage clearly stated that the first pet stays for free. I was too tired to argue. I paid what she asked for with my credit card. The place is a complete DUMP. The environment was dirty and the odors in the lobby, hallways and our room were HORRIBLE. But, again, we were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. The room was barren of any kind of furniture, only a bed. There was a stand for the TV... no closet. The door was open when we got to the room. There was linoleum on the floor that was sticky and wet. It didn't feel clean at all. There was matter, like crumbs on the bathroom floor. It was pretty disgusting, even staining on the comforter on the bed, but we stayed and slept and left first thing in the morning. I would NEVER recommend this disgusting, nasty place to an enemy. We literally had to walk around a corner to get out the way from being hit by this cart. The second night was the same. Loud neighbors, bad location, very very sketchy location. There are homeless people walking around everywhere hanging out around the hotel. The next morning around 4:30/5:00am is when it all went to hell. I opened my hotel door to put my suitcase in the truck and a GIANT PIT BULLDOG comes running into my room pouncing at my daughter's feet like trying to bite her! The owner, some drunk barefooted man (the loud neighbors), was trying to enter my room with my kids in there and I kept asking him to please not enter my room and to please leave and i'm yelling at this dog to get out of my room before it bit my daughter. Since my stay was a late night check-in and I anticipated a break-of-dawn check-out, I asked for a discount, none given. So okay, full price for six hours in the room, whatever. The guy spoke to me from behind a bulletproof window, sliding things back and forth through a slot, which I gotta say doesn't bode well for the general sense of safety out here on the other side of that glass. Lol. Also a cash deposit was required (could not be added to card) fortunately I had it on me but that would have necessitated a run to the ATM, complete with surcharges, if I wasn't carrying cash. The room its self was certainly no frills (fine with me, all I needed was the basics). I was put in a wheelchair accessible room so it was likely more spacious than neighboring rooms, and I got to park in the handicap space. Clean, basic furnishings, good water pressure in shower. Bed was comfortable enough, nothing to write home about, but got the job done. Morning coffee was sufficient. The BEST part of this stay was waking up to find myself in the shadow of the famous Peachoid water tower. That was fun.

They had a laundry facility which we were able to do one load of clothes since we had just come from Charleston where the pollen had been all over everything. A few problems arose though. One, this is a no smoking facilty, or so they say. The room next to us was smoking weed in their bathroom and when we turned our exhaust on in there while showering the weed smell came billowing in. Not that I care that you smoke, but go do that stuff outside. Second, the bathroom pocket door didn't lock, the lock just spun around. The coffee pots had the wrong trays ordered for the prefilled inserts, so you could only get coffee in the lobby for the entire stay. Pool was also drained because of a crack in the foundation. Also, we were on the freeway side of the hotel and it was SO noisy. Lots of jake braking semis in the middle of the night, and one major crash right up the freeway so ambulances and sirens galore, not exactly how I enjoy being awoken, although I'm grateful to not have been in the accident. My in-laws live in Gaffney, so if we come back, I'd be ok staying here, but definitely will get a room facing the opposite side.
