Burn holes in the Queen bed sheets .... Tear in cover sheet , bar code still on new tub , I removed wrapping from new toilet handle , toilet had been installed but NOT CLEANED ! Walked free m bathroom fresh out of showers,walked bare foot to front door and back to sit on bed , oh yea ... no chair to sit ... and reserved a KING.... Looked at bottom of my feet ..BLACK .... So after remolding... even thought it's all new but the BED and covers a full wipe down and sanitation SHOULD BE A NO BRAINER..... Did I say the pad on top of the sheet had a blood stain not our blood somebody else's blood stain gross REFUND WOULD BE GREAT !!!!! We had the most HORRIFIC experience at this hotel and I would NEVER EVER stay here especially if you are traveling with kids. Me and my family stayed here Friday- Sunday this weekend for a softball tournament. At first, everything appeared okay in the room. It wasn't the nicest room i'd ever stayed in but it looked clean for the most part so we were satisfied with it. I did notice little things here and there like stains on the walls and lamps. The bathroom door was broken and wouldn't close completely. The first night went okay. The neighbors kept us up pretty late by being loud and partying but we didn't complain. The staff is rude. Me and my daughter were getting some ice out of the ice machine and one of the staff members came around with a huge cart and almost ran over us with it and yelled, "EXCUSE ME!" We literally had to walk around a corner to get out the way from being hit by this cart. The second night was the same. Loud neighbors, bad location, very very sketchy location. There are homeless people walking around everywhere hanging out around the hotel. The next morning around 4:30/5:00am is when it all went to hell. I opened my hotel door to put my suitcase in the truck and a GIANT PIT BULLDOG comes running into my room pouncing at my daughter's feet like trying to bite her! The owner, some drunk barefooted man (the loud neighbors), was trying to enter my room with my kids in there and I kept asking him to please not enter my room and to please leave and i'm yelling at this dog to get out of my room before it bit my daughter. This whole situation had me in tears and I went to the front desk and nothing was done. The man there said he was sorry and that was it and now they are working AGAINST Priceline to come to a resolution. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and will NEVER stay at another Quality Inn. read more

This "Hotel" is really just a crummy Motel but with some aesthetic improvements. Enough to merit the Quality Inn Branding. Upon arrival you can clearly see that this truly is an "up-scaled" Motel and a dated one at that. There is rotten wood near the roof line, building damage all over the place and things falling off the walls in the room(s). The Framed "Artwork" over the bed was crooked so I attempted to level it up, and the screw and mount fell right out off the wall along with the picture! Better to happen then instead of it being on my head while I was sleeping on the bed below. The Linen rack was also falling off the wall and being propped up by the Ironing Board. The water pressure is enough to get you wet but could have used alot more pressure and consistent temperature. The bed sleeps decently well and the linens were clean and soft. Good Microwave and a mini-fridge with a separate freezer which was nice. The Breakfast bar was very small and didn't offer much. Overall, this "Hotel" gets the job done as far as providing a roof over your head and water to wash with BUT there are many other true Hotels in the area that will provide a much better experience and comfort. This Hotel is great for those traveling workers who need a bed to sleep in but as far as having your family stay here while on a trip/vacation, pass this place up and spend a tad bit more money. I will never choose to stay at a Choice hotel property again. I have tried for 2 days to cancel this reservation, that they billed me for. I can not come because of hurricane florence. In order to use the room they are charging me for I would literally have to defy the government, travel there, and risk my life. I know full well that while they bill me for the stay, they will increase their prices dramatically to take advantage of those fleeing the hurricane. All while billing me for the room as well. I would donate my room, that I am paying for to anyone fleeing the hurricane, but since I am not there to check in I am sure these greedy people will not allow for that. Shameful. read more

I gave a 2 stars only because of convenient location. Room is real old and smelly, not clean. Forget about the view (an abandon old gas station, several old raggedy beat up automobiles and trashes floating around and urine smell on premise). At night area is poorly lit. I was Wondering around down stair then upstairs looking for a working ice machine, and I could see and smell urine stains almost everywhere. Bathroom ceiling is low, looks like it will cave in or about to fall on your head. exhaust fan doesn't work. Noisy refrigerator.. unfriendly staff at check out . He was on his cell phone loudly communicating in language other than English, said nothing to me from the time I walked in and leave except for printed and put my checked out receipt on the counter. You know something? I will not return and do not recommend Quality inn at Gaffney. No offense but the name was not properly chosen and I don't think most of the reviews I read about this place is honest or even real. Please look elsewhere!!
