This is the second time we have stayed here and probably won't be the last. The check-in was smooth and easy. We had a downstairs room, which I thought would be loud, but surprisingly it wasn't! We were two doors in, so right by all the action. Only four stars because the beds were uncomfortable, and really, $13 for a continental breakfast that nearly every other HGI hotel has for free. No pancakes, no waffles, just fruit and warmed-up dishes. I'll save the money next time and go up the street for a real breakfast. read more

Great place to stay ! Rooms are beautifully spacious. Tasha the waitress was welcoming and positive energy vibes . She made delicious Bloody Mary's for breakfast. Dinner was delicious as well and bartender made a spicy margarita. Very well made. I Wanted more but the bar closed at 10pm. Heated indoor pool and spa as well. I have to admit this holiday Inn was a great place to stay. I was kinda hesitate but this place made me feel truly welcome. The front desk gentlemen in the evening was very nice and helpful. After a long day of travel finding a hotel with great prices was great but honestly, everything about our stay here was amazing. The rooms were well appointed, super clean and fresh. The linens were so comfy, I didn't want to get out of bed. Their breakfast was really good. The fruit was fresh and tasted ripe. Often hotel breakfasts are subpar. This Holiday Inn really excelled. And Nelson who over saw the diners was really attentive and helpful. He gets 5 stars!! Highly recommend if you need a place to stay in Lafayette. read more

Beds are horrible. Hard as a box spring, no USB wall charger and the Ac is on the window old school. Limited movie channels.

We travel often and have stayed at a variety of lodging. That being said, this is by far one of the best hotel experiences we have had. I only wish we had a longer stay, instead of passing through. Not only was this location very well maintained with clean rooms (and I am very particular with hotel cleanliness), but the staff was outstanding. From the gentleman who checked us in last night to the morning desk and restaurant staff, everyone has shown incredible service and makes you feel welcome. I would highly recommend anyone passing through stay here. I now understand why it's rating was so good. It completely lives up to 5 stars! One of the best visits I have ever had at a Holiday Inn. This hotel is four months old, spotlessly clean and extremely well appointed. The bed king-size bed was comfortable with high-quality bedding. Slept extremely well with zero noise from adjoining rooms. Would gladly stay here on my next visit, highly recommend to all. read more

This place is a palace and completely set back from the other hotels in the area. I put the wrong address in my GPS and ended up looking near another end of the Thruway. I thought there was no way I would stay here. Then I arrived at the right address and even at night, it looks clean and inviting. It's really lit up we'll, like a beacon. The hotel is clean and beautiful and THE BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE!!! The only drag is that the pool closes at 9pm. Boooo! They have a laundry facility so I don't have to go to the local ratty coin laundry down the street. And they have a restaurant/bar that I cannot comment on because I didn't use it. This place is just so comfortable with a big shower and wonderful toiletries. Thank you HI, because the airlines lost my bag. read more

This is a beautiful Hotel, with excellent accommodations and we just ate supper in their in house restaurant, which was fabulous. If you get a chance try their catfish Bites with homemade chips and their awesome Gumbo, they are just amazing dishes! read more

I stayed in this hotel just for one night and I really enjoyed it! The hotel is very pretty, clean, and quiet. My room was nice and big and the shower/bathroom was clean and spacious. The price was very reasonable and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was checked in very quickly. The only reason I didn't give it full stars was because the breakfast was an additional $9.95 for the buffet, and there are waiters who help serve you drinks and provide anything you need, which means of course they are working for tips, so it's $9.95 for breakfast plus whatever you tip. (Not that I have a problem with tipping, I just wasn't expecting it) I have stayed at other Holiday Inns and there was free, self-serve breakfast which is what I was expecting. Regardless, I enjoyed my time there and I recommend it. read more

Amazing service from the moment you step into the lobby. Everyone is very friendly and professional. After we checked in we went down to the bar for a Drink. It was nice and relaxing. Since this is a Holiday Inn full service hotel there is no free breakfast but no worries the full service restaurant was yummy! My hubby had the waffles they were very tasty and I had the breakfast sliders they were fresh and very tasty. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very easy access from I 10. In reality, I am loathe to leave a 5-star for any hotel, but we'll round this 4.5-star of to 5 to help with their ratings early on. We were on a drive from Montgomery AL to C-Springs CO and this was our first nightly stay. We are IHG Rewards Club Platinum, so similar experiences may vary. Location is obviously very new, and the presentation and cleanliness remain first rate. The staff is very friendly, went thru all the requisite Rewards Club greetings and upgraded us to a very big suite. Too bad we were only staying in transit. We asked the front desk about where some appropriate locations in town could be to eat supper. 2 of them went into great detail about a number of local spots that covered the gamut of possible types of food and atmospheres. After returning relatively early from eating we enjoyed our complimentary beers at the bar, which was empty except for the 3 staff who were eager to talk about themselves and the local area. The room was very comfortable with good noise insulation. Not something you can say about a lot of hotels. The HVAC was quieter than we have experienced at most other hotels along the way. If we are back in the area, we will be sure to stay here again. read more

Would stay the night again if I remember where it is along the route. Several nearby hotels. We actually stopped by the Fairfield Marriott first but it was a little old and closer to the highway. So we checked this out and glad we did. A few bucks more for the room and breakfast is not included. But the AC is very quiet, only 15 months old and had a nice sleep. I liked all the colors, big shower, I felt it was great value for what I paid. Driving from Houston to Atlanta and didn't make it very far due to construction. read more

We stopped in tonight for dinner and an adult beverage. We were referred by a nearby hotel. The crawfish etouffe was excellent! Elijah was a superstar at incoming customer service via phone and was knowledgeable about the restaurant menu, then welcomed us warmly when we arrived. At the restaurant, Zachary was professional, sociable and welcoming, a real gem! Please add some pet friendly rooms! We would instantly choose Holiday Inn Express and Suites over the place we stayed (they are pretty good, too). read more

Spent a week at this hotel. Phil and Nelson in the breakfast area and Sandra at the front desk are awesome. People like them make any business better, and it always makes me hopeful that people like them are recognized by their coworkers and managers alike for how they make a place better. Hotel room was kept spotless (I think that was Belinda for most of my stay). This is one of the nicest and most presentable Holiday Inns in which I have stayed, and I've stayed in a few. I have been told that this location is in a bad part of town. Although it has a wired access, it is well lit, large parking, and felt safe. It is right off the interstate, and gave me quick access to where I was doing business. Fifteen minute drive to a multitude of good restaurants, which is also where many of the other hotels are located. Most of those hotels did not appear to be as nice (only went inside one), are subject to smaller roads, increased traffic, longer commutes during peak hours and limited parking. I almost gave this place a four star rating, and am still tempted to do so due to the laundry service availability. I just think it's CHEAP when a hotel has coin operated laundry machines. This hotel has one coin operated washer and dryer. $2.50 per cycle on each, and you guessed it... The dryer does not get a pair of jeans dry. The hotel does offer a by pound laundry service ($3.90) for things that do not need dry cleaning. This is the only reason I did not let this influence the rating. read more

Seriously one of the best travel hotels I've ever stayed in. Brand new, extremely friendly staff, customer service over the top, amenities galore. Beautiful entrance, full bar (in a holiday inn????!!!!!) and breakfast buffet was amazing. Staff offered to go coffee and kids under 12 ate free! Five stars is for the hotel itself and almost all of the staff. With the exception of Pam at the front desk, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Maybe Pam was having a bad day, but her customer service was terrible and very unwelcoming. She let us know how big of an inconvenience we were because we booked through Snap Travel (which we often use with no issues). Her condescending tone was very uncalled for. Other than that, the hotel was very clean, updated, comfortable, convenient, wait staff etc. were all so kind. Highly recommend! read more

We stayed at this Holiday Inn in September of 2018. The staff is amazing! Friendly service, good restaurant (kids under 12 eat free) and clean, comfortable rooms. I loved all of the staff with whom I came in contact but I have to give a shout out to Zachary. He made us feel welcome and we all enjoyed talking with him. My partner and I were on a cross country trip from New Orleans to Spokane Washington when the brakes went out on our 5th wheel. We were able to get off the interstate and found this Holiday Inn 2 miles from us. We called to see if they could accommodate our 5th in their parking lot, as well as our 3 service dogs. We spoke with a gentleman named Eric and he was incredible. Told us not to worry about parking and no issues with the dogs. He even knew he could not ask for proof for our service dogs despite me offering to provide proof. I am a platinum member of the IHG chain, but this has been the best Holiday Inn I have stayed in. Everyone has been incredibly friendly and sympathetic to our situation. We were upgraded to a suite and each day been given late check-out (which I know are often given to platinum members, but still). Not knowing how long the fix will take, they have held our room until the late check-out time to give us the ability to continue our stay. Thank-you IHG for your unparalleled customer service! Ms Linda and Mr Nelson in the restaurant have also been wonderful. I can not thank this hotel and its staff enough for making this terrible situation we have been in a little more bearable. read more
