Life gets no better than this! The grounds of Pembroke Lodge are a fabulous addition to the park, and there is also a memorial bench for Ian Dury at Poet's Corner. If you fancy a little cultured learning whilst sipping your coffee, the bench is solar powered and you can plug in your headphones to listen to a selection of his music and his Desert Island Discs interview. Both the upstairs and downstairs are is available for hire but you may sill have to share it by the other folk enjoying their coffee! Absolutely stunning venue which must be visited.

There's lots of seating inside, but i normally opt for outside because the views are just so darn stunning! If you head up to the highest point within the park you can see St Paul's Cathedral through a telescope (from King Henry VIII's Mound). I was impressed! There is also a thatched house within the grounds, which is home to Princess Alexandra, who is a member of the British Royal Family (the youngest granddaughter of King George V and Queen Mary). Richmond park is such a wonderful place, this just makes it even more great! And it's so colourful at this time of the year...

They will ruin your day. The security guard was the only helpful person on the day. In fact, he was the only one present on the day from morning to night. I was promised that haider, one of the staff members would be present to help, but he was not there and would not answer any phone calls. I had to go through the office entrance which according to security wasn't supposed to be open, as there was no one to let me in and there was no one answering the phone. My registrar had to get hold of a signing table as they had forgot to put one out for my civil ceremony. when confronted about this, I was told by haider that i didnt tell him I was having a civil, even though I have clear written and verbal proof that I did in fact tell him, I'm having a civil ceremony at 12pm and need a signing table. When confronted, bilal was rude and told me I am blackmailing him when I asked for a form of compensation. They are fraudsers and scammers. Do not go with this company for your wedding.

As far as airport hotels, crowne plaza is a good choice. Connected to terminal 4. Clean. Standard…read morerooms. More spacious than something you'd get in central London. The carpet and some furnishings can be dated, but the bathrooms are updated and everything looks clean. Bathrooms look updated, very meticulously clean. The food: the good news: we got in late, but luckily, they have a handful of dishes served 24/7. The food was decent, nothing special but nice. They deliver it to the room. Chicken club was good, and the chips were nice, though not super crispy. The bad news: I think the chicken wing portion was a bit small for $15. The bleu cheese wasn't great. I was charged 5 pounds for a "tray charge," which was confusing, because it's not listed on the menu and I certainly didn't need the tray. The spring rolls definitely have the frozen taste and just too sweet for me. They delivered two bottles of coke, but no bottle opener. We tried to open it ourselves on the side of the counter, and the glass broke, so just a bit frustrating. I called and they brought one right up, though, so lesson learned. (I just wish they'd been a bit kinder or even given an apology for the oversight as opposed to acting like we're asking for something extreme.) Overall, I'd recommend staying for sure.

The bedding was a duvet cover that I hope is laundered after each visit! The bathroom was very clean and I liked the walk in shower. The hotel provided complimentary bottle water. I arrived very late so I wasn't able to go to the main dining room which closes at 9:30 pm. The bar was pleasant, but I wouldn't recommend ordering the cheese platter since the cheeses IMO were not very tasty. I had to go to Terminal 2 for my flight to LAX, and the quickest way is the Tube. Just follow the signs to the train, and don't forget to tap your card when entering the tube or you will get charged about for the ride.

We had constant issues getting in-touch with the guy who we booked our engagement with at Ashiana however when we did get through, we were re-assured it would be fine. Deposit was already paid so no backing out. However on the day of the engagement, the place was shut and the person (Ravi) who was supposed to get the decor ready for 9:30 was flat out drunk on the seats in the front of the venue sleeping. Finally once in, the bride-2-be had to get involved in getting the decor up - not something you want after spending 5 hours getting ready and already stressed about the event itself. To make things worse, the food was then late over an hour. Glasses ran out so plastic ones had to be used and when the bride/groom to be were to sit and eat at the end, half the dishes were finished. Several people also tripped on the dancefloor area due to no markings, one of them being a very elderly stroke vicitm. We also insisted the bar be kept shut down to the ceremony being religious yet it was opened at lunchtime - thankfully unaware guests of the request did drink outside - shame Ashiana did not have the same respect. Finally, we were promised 1 staff to tend per two tables, this did NOT happen and instead, family members had to end up serving water an basics to other guests. Food was also self-serv and not served as promised. We were recommended this place however will not be recommending ANYONE this place and a few friends have now backed out while they could in using this venue. If anything positive has to be said, inside is actually not too bad and guests did enjoy - shame about the management and staff.

The food was cold, bad service, may look good but it doesn't mean service would be the same. Do not trust them. Awful food, terrible uncooked meat. Stingy people act like cheap business and its run by two brothers. My in-laws were not happy with food shortage. I paid Azazi for extra 18 people still food shortage. Shocking and horrific, I had to get off the stage and serve my guest. I do not recommend this place. :(

The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the airport which makes it an ideal location to use if your in a similar situation. The hotel is clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly I found. The room was good size with seperate toilet and bathroom, coffee available and comfortable bed. The shower was large and powerful and just what you need to wake you up before a flight. I opted to have dinner here as well and the food was quite good. I had fish and chips, sweet potato soup and ice cream to finish. The soup came out after the main which was a bit weird but oh well right. The soup was average while the fish and chips were very good. Representing the way the british serve them. The ice cream for dessert was so basic anyone could have served it. Was straight from the packet without much effort. The breakfast buffet was large and offered a grest array of hot foods, pastries, fruits, cereals among other things. Plenty of selection and you definitely wouldn't leave asking for more food. Our WIFI was better than any we had had in a public place in our 2 week vacation in England and Wales. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Parking is £10 a day, via a card just like the room key. We got them mixed up. Quick fix though. They provided two bottles of still and two bottles of fizzy mineral water, refrigerated in the Executive suite as well as a bath fizzy, a sugary body scrub, a body wash and a shampoo. Note though, they do not provide conditioner. Whatever we needed was only a phone call away. It was prompt service. They had a film and free popcorn for the kids as well as an Xbox in the lobby. The room also had a nice Bose Bluetooth speaker to play our own tunes! Great stay before the long journey back to the U.S. One thing I appreciated as well was the door that closed the toilet and door area from the sleeping area. It cut the noise.
