The front desk lady is extremely rude cussed literally at us who hold a permanent spot for the last 14 years told my father to F off and she doesn't give a f that we can't find parking. All other employees are pleasant but she was a miserable rat ma'am your whole job is about customer service. Absolute worst experience I've ever had at an RV park. ​Over a week prior to our arrival, I called to make a reservation and explicitly detailed our setup multiple times. The male employee who took my booking assured me everything was completely fine and confirmed the reservation (noting the call was recorded). ​When we arrived on the final leg of our trip, we were turned away. The same male staff member behind the counter claimed he couldn't remember the call from a week ago. To make matters worse, the female employee working the front desk alongside him was extremely dismissive, cut me off, and refused to check if I could speak with a manager. When I asked if the direct cell number on the manager's business card sitting right on the counter was correct, she literally laughed at us--and then denied doing so when confronted. ​I called and texted the direct number for the manager, but received zero response or follow-up. ​There was a complete lack of accountability, professional courtesy, or basic empathy--especially disappointing with my 12-year-old son standing right there watching the desk staff behave this way. Doing all the prep work ahead of time meant nothing here. Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else. read more

From a traveler's standpoint, arrival was quick and simple, though the entrance is narrow and really only accommodates about two RVs at a time. Inside, there are plenty of sites, but many of them are tight--managing a larger rig takes a little patience and precision. The staff, however, made everything smoother. They were genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful, and always ready to assist with whatever we needed. The park itself is very well maintained, and the facilities are cleaned regularly. Showers and restrooms were spotless with absolutely no odors--a huge plus when a park has heavy RV traffic. There's also a pleasant BBQ area with ample seating and an impressively large laundromat. We did run into a few challenges. Over the course of three days, I spent several hours troubleshooting WiFi issues with Spectrum. Their support team was great, but the connection problems appeared to be on the park's end--Holiday's modem or general connectivity seemed inconsistent, which led to too much time wasted. For pet owners, the designated dog area is quite small, so we opted to take our dog to a nearby park about five minutes away. The location, though, is fantastic. You can walk to town, local restaurants, and the beach is just across the street. The Monarch Butterfly Grove is only about 10 minutes away, making for a lovely outing. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, we had an enjoyable stay. read more

My husband and I have been members of this park for over 20 years. We have been happy here. We have a great office staff, great maintenance group of guys helping with customers every day, our Manager very caring and goes above and beyond trying to make park a great place to come. We have social activities, clean restrooms, a very nice clubhouse and pool and spa to be used by all. We have laundry on site clean as well. We have met many friends here called our Holiday family. Another great thing about our park is location location location. Walkable to town and beach! We love it here. Please try it! read more

This is an awesome RV park with full hook-ups, great customer service and happy neighbors. Jennifer is wonderful and so easy to work with! She was very communicative and straightforward, and all with a great attitude. And Kim is an awesome dude--keeps that pool running like a well oiled machine to the point that it feels like a saltwater pool. He was also so helpful during the back-in process with our trailer spot! I lived in Pismo for 21 years, worked my family's local business for most of my life and it makes me happy and proud to see local businesses operate in such a small-town, intimate fashion. What an amazing place to have an RV and enjoy the coast. The staff is amazing and has all of the answers to many questions. From the first interactions calling and speaking with Jessica and Sarah to the manager Aaron and the rest of the amazing staff that are always willing to help. The sites might be tight but do remember the park was built in the 70s and cars were not as big as now and all the pop outs were not around. We have a large trailer with pop outs and suv that fit perfect. It's a close walk to downtown. The clubhouse, fire pit, laundry room are all well maintained. If you haven't stayed here then you have missed out. We are so thankful that Jessica and Sarah made every interaction amazing and they are who sold us to be here. read more

Check-In was easy and quick. Jessica was amazing! I had a couple questions about family showing up and can we camp close to each other. She rearrange things and put us right next to each other? We had a couple minor issues with a rig and the maintenance guys. Kim and Luke got it all straightened out and showed me what I did wrong . All in all we had a great week. I'd skip it unless all you care about is having a place to sleep. It's essentially a glorified parking lot (the glorification is having a pool, etc). There is zero parking, can't even fit your trailer AND your truck without encroaching the next spot. It's very quiet over all, but any noise from your neighbors feels like it's in your trailer. Considering there are much nicer places nearby, this would be a last ditch effort only for us in the future read more

The pros: This Park is near the beach, you basically have to walk across the street and down a few blocks and there you are. 7-11 is right across the street which is convenient but see the cons below. The park is clean. The pool is large and heated, also has a Jacuzzi. People seem very friendly here. The cost was around $70.00 per night full hookup, not tents are allowed . Pets are allowed and are an additional charge. The cons: The spaces are EXTREMELY close. You can literally hear your neighbors snoring. The spaces are all dirt . The ONLY dog area is at the farthest back of the park, very small, no grass and smells HORRID, and I mean vomit inducing HORRID. There are no type of views whatsoever, basically all you see are RV's and cars. After you enter the park and pass the pool area, it just looks like an RV storage lot to be honest. The park is right across the street from 7-11 so there are some shady people hanging around the proximity, there is even a sign on the parks entrance lawn that talks about drug use on the property. I think I'm the future this park will only be a last resort for me. read more

Oh my gosh if you like squeezing your rig into a spot and hear your neighbors sneeze this is your place. I know this area is a destination for the Central Valley and they need to accommodate as many as they can but, really? We were in a small no sleeping de trailer site but parking our truck in the spot put it at our front door. Bathrooms were clean, dog park clear at the back of the park so if they have to go better get them there in a hurry!! Staff was friendly and helpful it's just not a place I'd like to stay again if we had the same site. We were put in the back by all the full time people and it was a bit tight and just a dirt pad. Even the dump for your sewer needed a different fitting. Shared a electric box with the RV behind us and lucky we had a conversation cord to drop down to 30 amp from 50 amp because the guy behind us already hooked into to 30 amp. What the hell for the price it seems we'd have a little better accommodations for an off season site mid week. read more

Smallest, tightest RV spots we have ever seen. Slide out covered the entire bench of picnic table which was located next to sewer (not like we would have used the picnic table in that location anyway). They do have someone to guide you into spots. Great heated pool, laundry room. Great location as permament trailers are in the back if the park by the freeway. One block from the beach. If you gave a SMALL trailer and don't plan on hanging out (outside), BBQing, having a fire pit and doing most of the normal tnings you do while camping then its fine for a quick stop over but not to spend several days. read more

We were very fortunate to get a call couple days prior to New Years for a RV spot... first time staying here. Check in was easy and staff was pleasant and informative, the rv spot we stayed in was roomier than the trailer spots but was next to the maintenance shop. Which we didn't mind since it was a holiday and weekend, the resort was under pool and spa construction, but was walking distance to the beach , local restaurants and shops which was a plus !!! The permanent tenants we met were very nice and greeted us with New Years treats . I would stay again but in the big rv spots !! read more

This park was built in the 70s for much smaller units.it is only park you can stay longer than 2 wks it is a live savor for people who cant find a rv park in Pismo beach. Two stars for the front office and pretty clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. If you have dogs it's not many choices for a place to walk them. The dog areas are very small, there are two one is concrete which is fine, the other has Astroturf of some sort that is pretty gross. And smells awful in there. If you have kids I'd say go elsewhere. Clientele here is mostly seniors and Not too much for the kids to do. It's pretty much a very tight parking lot. Ok for a quick overnight In walking distance from eateries and such...but if you want a place to chill near the ocean and Let the kiddos ride their bikes and play this is not the best place for that. As a parent you would feel on edge constantly as to whether your kids were bothering the neighbors or vice versa. Next time I want to try Pismo Coast Village. read more

This park is probably the worst place you could visit in pismo beach. The staff is very unprofessional. The business manager states she is the park owner and can welcome and unwelcome anyone that stays in this park My father has been living in this park for the past year , loved his neighbors and met great friends. Decided to buy a share in here which is a complete hoaks. You purchase a share like many others in the park and they say that you are still not guaranteed a spot even tho there are 50 plus rv's that never move there space and are clearly full time residents. There is some kind of favoritism going on in this park with the staff. After buying the purchasing the share and upgrading his rv to a more full time rv with prior consultation with park the park , Julie the business mananger told him that his space would not fit his new purchase and that he would be forced to move until further notice. Upon asking questions in regards to this site and availability, fowl mouth who is the epitome of trailer trash told us we were not an owner there nor were we more then just a guest and that she can as us to leave at any point. With the delivery of the new rv and a crew of guys guiding us into our current spot she vetoed everything. And with complete hostile towards us as guests as well as paying customers. I strongly discourage you from visiting here as there are so many other beautiful places to rv in pismo beach. Holiday rv is only gravel ugly spots that have no character and are practically smashed in like sardines. Nothing to ride home about on just a visit to the area. It's basically a bunch of full timers that complain about barking dogs , etc . I will be taking further action as we were told to relocate during these uncertain times as well as being discriminated against under very unprofessional terms. read more

The staff was friendly and somewhat helpful. The guy that tried to help me park with his forklift put it in crooked. So I had to readjust after he left. The spots are the narrowest I have ever seen. I barely have enough room to park my truck next to my trailer. They mix the residence with the guests which can lead to issues. We were next to a resident that would park just over the line so we had trouble getting in and out of our vehicles. He had plenty of room but you could tell he was not a fan of guests. For the price they charge you would expect a better experience. We'll find a different place next time. read more

This park is not for the individual camper looking for a place to vacation. The only campers who could possibly prefer this park are the ones who are members and are ok being squeezed into their site like a sardine can. You get what you pay for and they are content with whatever deal they have with this park. We camped in a 32' motorhome towing a Honda CRV several years ago when we couldn't book our regular park and decided to chance this park so we could visit the area. We could not park the Honda on our site and still be able to use our awning or have any room to set up outdoor chairs and small table. We ended up using public parking on the street outside the park for the Honda and walking to our vehicle every time we wanted to use it. The sites are so narrow you are literally on your neighbors site just to access driver side storage or hook up utilities. Many users are there long enough that they have to exit the park for the state minimum time and then re-enter using a different site. The one bath house was so crowded each morning it reminded me of my army days in basic training. I would never ever subject myself to the humiliation of staying in this park again even if the other parks are full and it is the apparent only choice. There is another choice, go to another area and find a decent park to enjoy. read more

This is our first and last stay here at Holiday RV. It was a last resort, as barely anything is open due to Covid. You can see from the picture that the spots are tight. On the other side of the truck, the cab is literally inches from the neighbor's slide-out. Location is great in proximity to Pismo destinations, but this park is in serious need of reorganizing their spaces. Seems they are packing people in to make as much money as possible. But the main problem is the intermixing of residents with short-time campers. Our next door neighbor was super passive-aggressive, parking his car right on the line, with lots of room on the other side, to prove a point. May I suggest to anyone considering this place: go to Coastal Dunes (when it reopens). Double the space size, on grass, and 50% lower in price! read more

Desperation as a last resort. One step up from parking at Walmart. The staff is friendly and it does appear to have an ok pool, although we stayed away during most of the day due to activities elsewhere. Combining campers with full time residents is not a great idea. Although one gentleman was very nice, the one we stayed next to was rude and passive aggressive. He parked his car so close to ours my husband had to climb out the passenger side every time to get out of our car. And we had to put a towel on our car door so our RV door wouldn't hit our car, mind you, we couldn't open the RV door all the way and had to squeeze in. Meanwhile the neighbor had ample room for parking but was just .... the park should reconstruct sites and focus more on customer satisfaction than the number they can squeeze in. Using a forklift to position trailers might seem helpful, however it just means tighter squeezes and more cramming of space read more

Although directly across the street, this RV park is NO Pismo Coast Village. If you're willing to overlook how small the sites are, and elderly frowning at you for being young in THEIR unkempt trailer park (trying to have a good time), while not making a peep, then this is the place for you! Our neighbor, who was in arms reach of our picnic table, resented us being at "his trailer park" during the Portuguese festival. Apparently he didn't care for Adele, or our low playing country music, how close our dog fence was to his RV, and adult humor (at 4:00 p.m). The following morning after being in bed by 9:00 p.m., Holiday Rv manager Julie Hill-Taylor, AKA-female Adolph Hitler accompanied by two storm troopers, ordered us from the property, giving our families and young children two hours to vacate the premises. While I calmly asked for an explanation, she screamed at me citing, "bad behavior." Additionally, she refused to refund our money, yelling that there were no refunds for early departures. (What about unwarranted evictions?!!) I have never met a more nasty, unprofessional manager, let alone human being in all of my forty-plus years! Julie Hill-Taylor is what gives trailer parks and bad name!! She is as offensive as the property she manages! After being evicted, we were welcomed into the Sands RV resort in Pismo for half the price, larger lots and ample grass for pets and children to enjoy. Most importantly, there was a nice diversity of ages! The pen is mightier than the sword!! NEVER STAY AT THE HOLIDAY RV RESORT IN PISMO, for all the reasons I have stated and more! read more

My husband and I went to Pismo Beach this past weekend for our anniversary. I called this place early Friday to see if they had any openings. They said definitely come. I called later in the afternoon, due to the fact we were running late and spoke with Krista or Kristina and she was AWFUL!!! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Hung up on me twice for no reason. I was trying to make sure there would be spot opened or was asking if I should make a reservation. Anyway, so glad we didn't make one. We did not like the looks of this place. Only one nice thing. The after hours guy on the golf cart was very helpful when we arrived. But, again, we left. Found a great RV spot up the street. read more

After reading some of the negative reviews on here it reminds me of why I mainly just use Yelp to find a address or telephone # of a place I need. People on here are talking about Holiday RV Park as if they were expecting it to be a five star resort off the coast of Pismo. For an RV park, it's one of the best I've ever stayed at. The pool is phenomenal (extremely large & heated), large jacuzzi, large & clean laundry room, a lot of clean restrooms & showers to the point that I felt I was only sharing it w/3-4 people instead of a large RV Park, multiple grills, & two fire pits & walking distance to the Pismo main strip & beach. The employees in the office were very nice & courteous. I needed to print out a 3 page work email @ around 9:30am & they gladly printed it for me. Great place. Enjoy! read more

This campground is not the most luxurious but it has clean facilities and everything you would need for a beach getaway in Pismo. I stayed with a friend who has a timeshare so I don't know the price. They have listings of time shares for sale in the office. They have a pool (which was closed for renovations during spring break - they lose one star for that fiasco), a game room, a laundry room, multiple bathrooms, a clean large shower area, and are close to a 7-11 and the ocean (about a 5 min walk). read more

Despite the small space sites, we enjoying coming here and there are two main reasons why. 1. The swimming pool, hot tub and clubhouse (to watch football games, etc) is very nice! The pool is heated and sparkling clean and there's plenty of lounging chairs and tables. 2. It is walking distance to downtown Pismo and the beach! Ps We got here tonight after the office was closed and was greeted by the friendly park manager who helped us back into our site. Our name and site # were posted at the office. They were the only RV park available for the weekend of October 9-11, and now I know why. The crew that escorts you to your site was very helpful, but the sites are so narrow that we had to disconnect from our truck and they had to forklift our trailer into the site. When I parked my truck in the space provided, I could barely get the driver door open enough to get out and the passenger side rear of my truck was just inches from the trailer next door making it impossible for the owner to get between my truck and his trailer. This was not even the worst part of the stay. On Saturday night the two trailers directly across from ours, they were a large group of friends or family, decided to have a fire pit party partially in front of their trailers and nearly halfway into the street, about 12 people in total. I have no problem with people having a good time, but when the loud amplified music and Karaoke singing was still going on well past the 10:00 pm quiet time I expected that the park staff would come around and shut them down. By 10:20 I went out asked them to stop, one obviously drunk man said, "what, are we bothering you?" Needless to say, I tried to call the park emergency number and got an answering machine, I reported the problem and no one ever responded. To make a point and maybe attract staff, I set off my car alarm. This caused the party goers to shut down the music, no staff ever came, no one ever called me back about my complaint. I will never return again. Worst RV Park EVER! read more
