I have been trying to get in touch with someone for months regarding the travel trailer we purchased and all I get is blown off. It's extremely poor customer service. The entire time we went through the purchase process was horrible and the fixes that were supposed to be made on our RV by Mike were just glue and tape. Vicki was extremely rude when we voiced our all the issues on the day of pickup, the fixes made were half ass; I could have done a better job if i did them myself and that's saying a lot; and when I tried to get these issues fixed the service department stopped returning my calls. This needs to get figured out because I am tired of my calls and concerns being ignored. We paid a lot of money for a trailer from you guys and have had kindness and patience through this whole process but at this point (6 months of back and forth calling and being ignored) we are sick of being nice. I want a manager, or some kind of higher up to contact me so you can hear how we have been treated by a number of your employees and to workout how we are going to fix this situation. i tried leaving this same review on their website but the site blocked me from doing so. it only lets you leave a 4 or 5 star review, anything lower and the site doesn't let it go through. Very poor customer service. I'm aware that dealer service departments are very busy but that does not excuse lack of communication and response. Our new trailer (2021) has been in for weeks and it is near impossible to get a status update. Several calls over a couple weeks period with both service rep and management has yet to yield results. Being busy is no excuse for lack of communication. One of our major repairs to the trailer is damage that was to the body and frame that should have been discovered at the dealer before we took procession. I have had to contact the factory direct to encourage the dealer to move on the repair. No results so far. read more

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We had hoped to close a deal on a Class A that we were told about the Houston RV show.

I had my first service since purchasing my class B three months ago. The service department could not have been more accommodating and fixed the issues quickly. They allow you to bring your dog into the waiting area which is really helpful for us full timers. Though I made it clear that I was interested in upgrading to a class C but not at this time John Harris spent a couple of hours with me patiently assessing what I was looking for, showing me a couple units and answering my questions in a unhurried manner. I really appreciated his help and look forward to working with him when the time comes to upgrade. read more

This is literally the shadiest of the shady RV businesses out there! We bought a 2024 unit in Katy on Feb 3, 2024 and it was a crappy deal! They over charged us, then sold us this in & out warranty and I paid for that outside the loan. So then they add it to the top line (wrote it into the loan), even tho I paid cash for it that day. Then came back to us with BS about they really can't give us the $1000 off the sales price since we were refinancing because they sent us to a horrible lender with 13% interest rate and my bank did 7%. Then they tied up the loan docs for a week, AND NEVER would return emails or calls!!! To this day I was overcharged sales tax, TTL and the loan! I have asked for corporate information and NO ONE will give it! I will tell everyone who asks...DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them EVER!!!! And, the $2500 deposit that was supposed to be refundable when I told them I was not doing the deal because they kept changing EVERYTHING on us, then they refused to give the deposit back and forced my hand to continue with it! They got pissy because their hitch was $500 more expensive there and we refused to go through them then they didn't want to make sure the new unit hooked up to the truck...I was like WHAT?! So if I brought my old RV and traded it in and you would not check to make sure it was safe to pull? read more

This review is in regards to the Katy Service Department. I was traveling in our 2016 Airstream, which we purchased from our local dealer in New Mexico. The water pump went out. I called in the morning and was put in touch with Nacho, one of the service writers. He and Bob Hernandez squeezed me in and got me diagnosed and repaired, same day. Of course, this happened a month past warranty, but that's life... lol The waiting area was comfortable and the staff were friendly across the board. They even made sure my two Dachshunds had treats through out the day. Bottom line, they saved my trip and got me back on the road. Don't buy from this company. We travel full time in our RV. Our refrigerator quit working and Holiday is one of two places in Texas who fix our type of RV which is still under manufacturer warranty. They said it would take 3 months for appt..talked to Doug Cameron manager he wouldn't help us. They are all about selling you 100k RV but when you need help it takes 3 months. They offered me a phone number of someone who could "fix" it but they aren't qualified to fix the brand we own. read more

He spent a whole HOT summer day with us just walking around showing us all the different styles of RVs & 5th Wheels that were safe for my mother-in-law who just retired. He was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. She is a first time RV owners and he helped us make a priority/necessity list for what we wanted in a camper. We never once felt pressured or hurried into a sale. Even when we told him we were going to go home and think it over. He didn't harass us with phone calls. My buying experience at the location in Willis was great. My salesman, Arthur, and Terry in the the service department were great. However, when I needed extended warranty work and damage repaired after an accident, I took my RV to Holiday World in Katy. I have been waiting since November of 2019 for the repairs to be completed. Yes, that's 1 year and 2 months. Two service reps have left (I think fired) after tales of backorders, parts given to other RVs needing service accidently, and other stories. The insurance company paid them in December of 2019 and I paid them $2000 in October of 2020. I was able to go out for the weekend but soon realized the tanks had be installed wrong and in such a way that black water would drain into my understorage bin. Guess no ones heard of quality control? I had to provide a photo of what it should look like. I thought it was fixed a second time but found that water leaked from the gray tank when I tested it (they say it's a bad valve, but I'm now waiting another month for that to be repaired. I am working directly with the service manager and customer service manager and hoping that 2021 holds some hope that I'll be able to use an RV I've paid for for over a year including storage (which has never been used since I've owned the RV). I originally bought a Keystone Cougar half-ton 32ft bubumper pull camper after my 19 year relationship ended. when I got the camper to my spot I had gnats really bad in bathroom and could not figure it out. By the time I realized we had a major issue the second bedroom had a floor that was rotted and a sewage leak. I had to empty my stuff al back out after just moving in. I had to have a friend help me get it back to holiday work and they wanted to patch it. After all the hassle and living with a friend and commuting an hour to work for three weeks I get a new one after I get bought out of my loan. Well this time i went brand new and now I sit with only one ac unit working. Nobody at the dealership cares about your problems. Service sucks and for some reason can not for the life of them figure out how to take care of their customers. They will tell you to bring it in but it cost me 300.00 to have it hauled and they give zero craps about you. You bought it so figure it out. If you want to just buy something this is the place. If you want people who care about you and fix the things they should and make life easy on you. Shop elsewhere because service sucks ass here and they wash their hands of you. We bought out 2020 Alpine built by Keystone back in July of 2020, in Alvarado Tx. Our sales person was fantastic truly enjoyed our experience. We had some warranty work that needed done, but we live way closer to the Holiday World in Katy so we decided to bring it to there. Big Mistake! Met the folks at Holiday World - Katy at the Houston RV show in February where we spent three days deciding on our dream 5th wheel. Holiday World staff were considerate and patient with our questions as first time rv buyers. Our special order rig was delivered from the manufacturer (~2 months) as expected. As new buyers, we spent about 10 hours over 2 days going through the unit with a fine tooth comb. We found some issues, but the Holiday World staff (especially our salesman, Michael Grossen ) gave us specialized attention and immediately fixed all the items we identified. Long story short, the entire staff at HW - Katy were knowledgeable, considerate and patient throughout the process and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a recreational vehicle. read more

I wish I could rate this 0 stars. If you care about your TIME and MONEY read this and avoid this place. We stopped by 5/12 drove 3 hours to look at a toyhauler. Found a rig we loved. Here I am almost 2 weeks later writing this review. I am not one to write reviews, but I have been so frustrated during this entire time that I felt people should know our experience to avoid all the frustration we have endured and most importantly avoid wasting their time. On 5/12 we found a rig, filled/signed paperwork, we informed the finance person we were working with, Raul, that our situation was time sensitive and needed and answer by the end of the week, latest Saturday. Raul assured us he would have an answer for us and call in 2 days. 2 days passed and no call. I called, was transferred to his office only to leave a voicemail. He finally contacted me on Friday but with limited information. We had made it clear that we needed an answer by latest Saturday because we would be staying in town only until that day and wanted close on the rig that weekend. My husband and I both work in healthcare (he is a physician and I am a critical care RN) and could only take time off that week, due to COVID19. I have been dragged on for 10 days, and have not gotten concrete answer/offer. This morning Raul (the finance person) contacted me told me, " I will call you around 1130-1200, please by near your phone, set some time aside, I will have the information ready." I rearranged my entire morning to make sure I was near the phone, I should've known better. 3pm came around and still no call. I am irate. We informed them we did not want to proceed with this anymore. At the beginning we were charged a REFUNDABLE $1,000 deposit. During that time, prior to us agreeing to move forward with the process, multiple times I verified that it would be REFUNDABLE, and I was guaranteed it would be. Raul handwrote refundable $1000 on multiple documents. They are now refusing to refund me my guaranteed REFUNDABLE $1,000. I have contacted my credit card company regarding this charge and will be seeking legal counsel. DO NOT waste your time and money with them. They lied to us and wasted our time. Take your business somewhere else where your business will be valued. AVOID being LIED to and having your TIME and MONEY wasted. read more

I purchased a Class C RV from Holiday World of Katy. Everyone was so nice when I bought it and picked it up on the 17th. I bought the bumper to bumper repair policy. I was told if I had trouble and was within 100 miles of HW, to bring it to them to work on it. They have 40 bays and can fix anything. We stayed overnight in the parking lot to try everything out before we took it home. It was plugged into their power. Everything worked. My family took it on an overnight trip on Saturday and were powered off of the generator. The generator had trouble starting and then would not stay running. I took it to the dealership Monday morning. We got there at 8:30 when they opened. The lady in service said they could not help me because I did not have an appointment and they were taking appts for 2 weeks out. I explained that I had just purchased it and was never told about appointments. I tried my sales guy and a manager and they were all in a meeting. I went to the front desk and asked who I talked to about the return policy. I was nice, but I did not buy this for it to sit for 2 weeks or longer, then get in for repair. A tech was sent to the parking lot to check it. His opinion was a choke or linkage problem. I ended up with 2 managers and my salesman helping me. I was told they would check it out and get back to me that afternoon, Monday, or Tuesday morning. When I did not hear from them, I called on Tuesday afternoon. It took 4 transfers to get someone to talk to me and every person was very abrupt like I was really bothering them. I finally got the service manager. He was so rude. He said as I had just dropped it off on Monday they had not had time to look at it. He would try to get to it this afternoon, Tuesday. He was so rude. Not pleasant at all. When you spend that kind of money on an RV and are promised good service, I expect good service and nice people. Not at Holiday World. Once you sign on the dotted line, the true face comes out. Ok! If I would have read the reviews first, we would have purchased an RV at a whole different place! Problem #1..... We purchased a 2017 Montana High Country. Then had to travel to where work was. I started a load of laundry and all the water drained in the under belly, and in our closet and bedroom floor! I called the service department and explained the situation. Even sent pictures! ****The man in service "hired" someone to come fix it (since we were nowhere near Holiday World of Katy) ****he explained that we will have to pay for it, then just "bring in the receipts, and they will reimburse us." ****I brought in the receipts****, the guy behind the counter, Dave, said the guy I talked to over the phone had been fired, and I was told by the guy in the service that they would not reimburse us. That he would send the receipts in to Keystone but doubt they would pay either! We were out $800.00! What a way to start off with a brand new RV! **** This has become the Money Pit....shall I mention more? Lean too sags, floor rotten under couch, windows leak. I sure can go on and on. This is the cheapest poorly made RV! But boy, howdy...lets put a price on this baby and sell it to first times buyers! Next time we look into RV's......it will be with a company that is honest and hold true to their word! I wouldn't have a problem at all if they just kept to their word. BUYER BEWARE!!! Holiday World Katy has provided the utmost in terrible service we could ever have expected. Spent over $300,000 on a NEW 2021 Dynamax. At delivery, we find 9+ issues that should've been identified during make ready. Told all would be corrected in 2-3 days, so we decline delivery. Over a week in shop, Holiday World corrected only a few of the issues and advised necessary parts were ordered. Had also purchased tow vehicle breaking system and traveled over 5 hours to bring tow vehicle needed for install. Three days later, no return calls so I go to dealer and was told Holiday World did not have the necessary parts to complete install of the tow system and would be at least a week before available. Since remaining issues were minor, except for tow system, we take delivery anyway just to get some experience with the rig. Less than 120 miles, breaks locking up, smoking heavily from both rear axles and fault codes on dash. Called Holiday World and was told I will need to take rig to Freightliner for repair. Austin was closest Freightliner shop, so was taken there. One week in the shop, Freightliner repairs breaks and replaces bulkhead wiring harnesses. Meanwhile, Holiday World service department will not return calls on status of parts and most importantly, the breaking system components. We do however, gain update communications from sales person, Chris Allen, who is also at a loss in explaining why service department is non-respondent or helpful. Day 19 after purchasing the rig without a single day of pleasure yet, I returned the rig to Holiday World to complete the tow system and warranty issues, found upon delivery. Was told by Service Supervisor, all would be complete in 2-3 days. Day 3 attempts to call receives no answer or return call from service supervisor. Again, contacted Chris in sales and was told the rig should be complete the next day (Saturday) and should hear back from service. Again, service fails to make contact so Monday Chris explains rig will be ready that day. After 5 days, tow system install is complete and told the warranty issues, except for one replacement light, were also complete. This was not true, the on board Fire control panel/network was still not working correctly, cargo lighting system, etc. also outstanding. Even to this day, almost 3 months after purchase, no return calls or updates from Service Department. A few weeks following purchase, we receive a survey request from Holiday World. Respond to the survey, raising the issues and terrible experience. Sales person, Chris Allen, suggested management would certainly respond. Three months later, no response. Now contemplating direction forward in dealing with this pathetic company. read more

I am only selecting one star because there are no options for no stars. We bought our rather expensive coach a couple of months ago from Holiday World Katy and we have had issues from day one--issues that service has not fixed and new issues that have cropped up while we are out on the road. The sales manager there called us personally before we bought so that we could come to an agreement on price and when we conveyed to him our concerns about bad reviews we were reading about the dealership (particularly about the service department there), he assured us that if we had ANY issues, we could reach out to him or our sales person. That has been patently false and as we have had serious problems occur with our new coach while we are out here on the road--2k miles from home--the dealership has been essentially silent. The sales manager--Mike Apel--has not answered our calls or emails and the service manager--Doug Cameron--has called once weeks ago after we appealed to him for help and left a vague message pointing the finger at someone else in service, saying that he should have told us about some service possibilities while we were on the road. Doug seems to be more interested in how his service reps are performing than if we are getting the help we need. We called him back and he did not respond. That was weeks ago. The woman in service that was helping us (a woman named April) was "no longer there" the last time we picked up the coach from service. This would be before we took off on our summer trip and we were told that all issues had been fixed. We are now sitting thousands of miles away and have an appointment with a Mercedes dealership for this coming week to check the engine light out--an issue which we were assured was fixed when we picked up the coach from Holiday World last month before taking off for our summer trip. The issues with the coach itself--too numerous to mention--have not been addressed and new ones have cropped up. Several of them are safety issues, to boot. We have had it with these people! We have been professional and calm and thoughtful in our many complaints and concerns conveyed to them and are exhausted from trying to get them to take care of us. We have told them we must have these issues fixed before another trip we are taking in a couple of weeks and have been persistent in trying to get those issues dealt with for an entire month now. So far, there has been no help, other than getting us in to a Mercedes dealership 200 miles away from where we are staying for the summer. We sent numerous emails late last week, again pleading for help to remedy the problems with our coach, but to no avail. If you buy there, be aware that if serious problems arise, you are on your on after the deal is closed. There is a banner over the service area that says that the dealership treats all customers as if they are family at all times--no exceptions. Have been getting the runaround with the service department, and the service manager won't return my calls. When I first brought my barely one year old Springdale camper in because the A/C wasn't cooling, they said it had a two year warranty. Now they are saying it isn't covered. They don't seem to back the products they sell, but here's the kicker: I bought the camper because I was displaced from my home after Hurricane Laura damaged my home. The issue with the A/C started within a month or two after I bought the camper, and I called my service advisor at that time. She requested that I bring it 3 hours from my home and leave it in Katy to get checked out. Unfortunately, it was our home until just recently, and I couldn't just bring it in with no place to live, so I waited till my house was ready in December. Because there is a big sticker on the door of the camper that says 3 year warranty, I figured it was still good, but apparently it wasn't. However, they did say the A/C WAS still under warranty. Until now. Also they conveniently don't have a call log for when I called my service advisor when it first started acting up. I guess Holiday World can be added to the list of businesses that are taking advantage of Hurricane victims. read more

Emails are ignored and each step of your purchase is a long drawn out wait with no explanation. A small few of their employees care about their job. The primary reason I took my airstream here was for a known leak in the roof that I could personally find and replicate. I also wanted them to repair a drawer and some popped rivets. After 1 week there they could not find the leak. I was denied the opportunity to discuss directly to the service technician to try and cut out any communication issues that could be occurring. I went to pick my airstream up and they wanted to charge me over $80 since there were no leaks found and the time they spent looking for it wouldn't be covered under warranty since no issues were found. I was then able to speak with a service technician while I was there after some pleading and expressing that I was upset about everything. I showed him actual video footage of the leak and they took it back immediately to fix a leak that is common according to the service technician. They failed to repair all of the rivets. The fix for the drawer was subpar and I could have done it better myself. I shouldn't have to though because it is a brand-new airstream. They didn't do a walk through with me after the service was done. They also caused damage in the bathroom where a tool they left fell and dented the aluminum guide for the cubby door next to the toilet. This was all back in late August and early September. It is now OCTOBER 21st and nothing has even been done to replace the dented aluminum they caused. All I want now is for that part to be replaced. I posted photos of the leak, tools left, dent they made, numerous emails I have sent (all of which have been unanswered) and a screen shot of messages from the airstream service advisor there. I also took screen shots of a lengthy word document I typed up describing everything in detail. Another update: Here we are 1 year into our non"service contract" we were forced to buy. Our ABS issues continue. We've spent close to $5k to fix our A/C....we know we'll never get this back. Our refrigerator has been out of service since March. We spent several hundred to rig it so that we could use it for one week. During this trip, the windshield was cracked. Researching, we found that the best way to remove and install a full sized refrigerator was to go through the windshield. That way we don't have to worry about any idiot removing an entire wall and jacking up any other equipment. We opted for this as we thought it'd be a way to actually be able to use our RV in...I don't know...less than a year. WRONG again! Windshield ordered. Filed claim with our insurance company...side note....they recommended this State Farm location and as Usaa (our preferred ins co) doesn't do RVs we went with them. Windshield replacement is between $4k-$5k...so we filed, ordered new windshield. 3 months later Holiday World receives windshield but still no replacement refrigerator. Mind you, we visit every couple of weeks, because no one answers the phone, returns calls or gives any type of update. So we visit the locations, watch them roll their eyes and prepare for the battle. Legit...they accept the tongue lashing like a whipped puppy. They just take it. Then they lie and tell you they'll get right on it. So we do this every couple of weeks. August they received our windshield. Our refrigerator was scheduled to be in today. Windshield is broken (from sitting in the original packing for 2+ months??) Yep. Still no idea if the fridge is in. Or if it was ever ordered. Steven & Andy have consistently lied to our face. Now Steven has quit or been fired. Andy, service manager, won't even respond or reply. The last we've heard from anyone is that the windshield is broken and they aren't responsible. Even the insurance company says that we just need to file another claim, because they are a big client & it's easier. Another $1k deductible. And I'm up to pay the insurance premium today. AND I can't get inspection done and legal tags until windshield is replaced. I'm just absolutely lost. It sits, for months with gas in the generator we just tuned, water in tanks (likely mildew forming in various parts), tires dry rotting and no accountability for anyone. If any of you reading this happen to see this place on the news. It'll be me. If any of you are lawyers and want to take this on...let's go. I just want my money back. They can have the RV. JUST my deposit. That's all I'm asking. read more
