I got in my car and traveled around Shawnee looking for a pet store that might sell dog boots (I had plenty of warm clothes for them, but no boots!). The store I found on Yelp had recently closed down. Disheartened I continued driving up Harrison and went past Best Friends Animal Clinic. Eureka! They will know where I can get dog boots! I went in and from the moment I walked in the door I felt taken care of. I could tell this was a really great clinic by the kinds of food, treats and products they had on display in the waiting room, and the front desk receptionist was just lovely. While we talked, people came and went with their cats and dogs - everybody was happy with how they were treated. While the receptionist was on the phone, the vet came out and asked if we were all taken care of. THE VET came and checked on people in the waiting room. Awesome. As we chatted, the receptionist told him why I was there and he hand wrote me a map of the pet supply places in Shawnee. Seriously, how sweet was that?! I think you'll like this place. Friendly, well kept and really nice staff and vet. Definitely was a place I would take my dogs if I lived there!

She came to me the first time. Sat in the middle of my living room and introduced herself to him and let him get comfortable. Within 5 minutes he let her trim his nails. He has every since. That was 6 yrs ago. Now he goes to her. As soon as we pull up he is wagging his tail ready to go inside. You wont regret picking them to love your fur babies like you do.

So here's the deal. If you're going to be out of town, they will go to your house, walk your dog, and throw in some play time. If you want to make sure your plants don't die, or if you don't feel like putting in a mail stop, that will be taken care of as well. The service is fantastic. I got updates on Facebook of my little ones. As I live far away, I dropped my dogs off at Kimmer's. Thank goodness there was room. The dogs were spoiled. How do I know you ask? Well, I have one dog that will be happy no matter what. The other dog is a rescue and has some personality issues, which is reflected in her being terrified of everything. This little doggie was very calm when I went to pick her up. She let herself be picked up (which is a HUGE deal), and she was happy to show emotion when she saw me (she generally does not do that around people). It's amazing. You can't go wrong with Kimmer's Kennel!

Then I get a message that they owe me a credit for that. The next week we bring our next dog and they refuse to give us the credit! They are all about the money, have bad service to owners as well as dogs! Sorry Alex, but since you've been at the other store this one has gone downhill.
