I've been meaning to write a review for this place but I've never gotten the chance to.... Lisa is amazing. This whole process was awesome from the minute you walk in you feel relaxed. It's Moroccan/Arabian themed interior, to the relaxing music, to even the sound of her voice the overall experience was just so calming. I purchased a Groupon for the eyelash extensions and I first I was very much skeptical because I've done a lot of research and apparently if the person doesn't use the right glue or doesn't put them on correctly your $85-$100 will just go to waste so I put a lot of trust in Lisa and she definitely delivered. My lashes looked so full and natural and that's what I really wanted. I wanted my lashes to not look fake but to still look full and Lisa didn't try to upsell me on getting a more expensive cost package but instead she educated me and said that your lashes will look much fuller with the fill in after two weeks and she was definitely right. I didn't need mascara and she advised me not to use mascara but I love that mascara looks so I put on lights amount of mascara and my lashes never felI I never had to worry about them falling out I work out and I am very active and they lasted a full two weeks with very little pieces falling out overall I would do this Groupon deal again and again and again and again. Just seeing how many people purchased this Groupon from when I first bought it is speaks for itself it would actually be kind of cool if she just implicated these prices on a regular because she does such a great job. there's not that many people who actually know what they're doing. read more

Like so many of my misadventures, I found myself here via the groupon express. All around great experience. I could smell the essential oils from outside the salon, so before I even stepped through the door I was excited. My little hippie heart swelled with joy when I saw all the soaps, oils, and other holistic goodies. My cut was great, friendly staff, and they did a fantastic job on my eyebrows, (not an easy task since my one eyebrow has a bald spot). Just great everything! This is woohoo as good as it gets in yelp terms! This place is awesome, I go there probably about every three weeks to do the eyelash extensions. I've never been that into getting my nails done, but the extensions here are fantastic and make me feel so much better about myself. The process is very simple, and essentially with my lifestyle, i get there and get to take a nap while Lisa makes gives me my dream lashes. I am literally about to make another appt right now. I used the Groupon for my cut and wash which is why I went. Although the atmosphere is nice and my hairstylist was nice. This place is not organized. There were only two people cutting hair and running the front desk. I had an appointment but had to wait 50 minutes when I was told I would wait only 30 minutes. I probably won't ever go back. Thanks for the $25 cut though! My suggestion to this place is either get organized or call customers and let them know if you're running behind. read more

I have never had eyelash extensions before but the Groupon Holistic Fusion was offering made me decide to jump at their offer. What a great decision! I have had them on for 2 weeks and no worries - I've lost very few, and not having to use mascara is actually wonderful! I have to give credit to Lisa, the owner at Holistic fusion, for the fantastic job she did. The application was totally painless - in fact I fell asleep on the bed at least twice (embarrassing!) Lisa was very informative, but never pushed any products on me. She did tell me about making her own infused oils, and the shop certainly had a warm spicy aroma that I found relaxing. The shop is super clean and I am going back on Tueday to have my next fill and see how I feel after a full month of these. Best part? Waking up and looking gorgeous right out of the gate! read more

The staff here were very nice. Cute Place. However my review mainly concerns Ann-Marie and the Thai Herbal Ball Massage she did on me. I have had many massages in many places local and in other states. I have never had a more thorough massage that stretched and manipulated just about every bone and muscle in my body. Wow, this was a new technique to me but I would definitely do it again ! Ann Marie is a gem. Try it you will like it. A very good start for my bicycle season. read more

Since moving to Jersey finding beauty places that I love has proved to be not so easy. This was a referral from a friend for which I will be forever grateful. I have been going here for over a year and I have been consistently happy. I have my eyelashes done religiously by Lisa or Rachel every 2-3 weeks and recently had the pleasure of a facial with Rachel who also did my eyelashes that day. I had my lashes done here and although the lashes looked nice, the process took two hours which is extensive based on past experience and I had chemical burns in my eyes for the next week, requiring a doctor visit. I was a mess. I wanted to love this place as the prices are very reasonable and the location is extremely convenient for me. They did call me to discuss the problem but I didn't bother calling back because there is no way I would go again. Ok, so this place is extremely unorganized to say the least. I drove there twice for what i thought were confirmed appointments to get my eyelash extension with the owner Lisa. The first time that I went there was the day after last snowstorm in March 2017. When I reached the parking lot, there was no where to park due to snow and ice. I looked around and couldn't figure out where the actual salon was. I called for directions, and the loopy receptionist could not explain to me how I should walk to the salon. In hind sight, all she had to say was walk onto main street from the parking lot and walk left, but she just couldn't figure out a way to say that. Therefore, she offered to come out and get me so I told her what type of car that I had. I waited and waited and she never came OR called me back. I called back and she answered the phone as if it was my first time calling the place. I asked her where she was and she seemed very confused. She responded, oh, I didn't see you. But she didn't try to call me back to inform me that she went back inside? Dah!! Well, I ran out of time and needed to reschedule. Appointment 2: I rescheduled my appointment WITH Lisa who was standing there assisting me with rescheduling the appointment. I show up a week later for my SECOND scheduled (rescheduled) appointment only to find out that the receptionist booked it with someone other than Lisa who I specifically requested from the first phone call. Lisa apologized and asked if we could reschedule again. She said, "I'm so sorry, please reschedule and I will take care of you". I went for it and made that THIRD appointment. Surprise, surprise, ONE HOUR before this third attempt to get lash extensions with the owner Lisa, she left me a VOICE MAIL canceling our appointment. She apologized saying that she was sick but that she was going to call me to Reschedule. I still have not heard back and it's been a week. Three Strikes. I discovered Holistic Fusion through a Groupon but unfortunately the one I wanted was sold out(not to worry because the salon was running a special)After reading the reviews and emailing the salon, I decided to make an appointment. Upon calling I was greeted by the friendly Alexandria who was not only friendly but was very accommodating to make an appointment based on my work schedule. This is not your typical salon, where you walk in and feel intimated. You walk in and want to explore all the wonderful baubles and soaps that are lining the salons space. The slight smell of intense is burning and right off the bat calms you. I met Alexandria and we sat down to discuss my hair needs. She was pleasant to talk to and totally understood what I wanted. She nailed it and transformed my hair. It's a week later and I love my new look. Also, I Love the soaps I purchased as well. Will definitely be going back. read more

I don't understand how this place stays in business. No one answers the phone, it tooks over 10 attempts to reach someone when I called to make an appointment. I had a problem with the girl who answered the phone and wanted to speak to the owner regarding my issues. I was told that the owner was too busy to respond to me. Obviously customer care is not a priority. read more

I have been getting eyelash extensions for years, but this was my first time at Holistic Fusion. I was visiting from out of town and bought a Groupon the same day (I should have known I was in for trouble when they had a same day appointment available). I hated every minute of the experience. 1. I was taken 20 minutes later than my scheduled appointment. 2. I was taken into a room and the door was left open. So what is usually a relaxing experience was awkward with people (noisily) walking by me for over an hour and a half 3. I asked the technician, Tara, for a specific size / shape and did not receive either. What I ended up with are short lashes that are not even full. 4. Hated that they pushed products on me! Told me I NEEDED a lash cleaner and conditioner, which is ridiculous. I have been getting lash extensions for years. As long as you don't rub your eyes or put on mascara the lashes stay put just fine. 5. When she gave me a mirror to look at finished product I could not believe what I saw. They were short and there was a huge glob of glue on my left eye. The technician attempted to fix, but did not. 6. It took nearly 2 hours, which is an insane amount of time. My lashes have never taken longer than 60-75 minutes in the past. Also, the technician kept leaning on my hair and continuously pulled it throughout the session. To add insult to injury when i came out to pay 3 employees oooh'd and ahhh'd like it we the best job they had ever seen. And when one of them found out that I normally only get my lashes done once a month (vs every 2 wks as they recommend) she said I should have my thyroid checked because my lashes weren't growing at a normal speed. Ma'am please stick to what you know. I do not need unsolicited medical advice. It would have been more appreciated if you had paid closer attention to customer service and gave your clients what they paid good money for. Never will I return to your establishment. There are many places to get lash extensions. Take my advice, avoid this one. read more

False advertisement with Groupon, I purchased a Groupon specifically for Glamour Lashes and when I got to Holistic Fusion I was told that Groupon had made a mistake and misadvertised the Groupon, if Holistic Fusion was aware of error they should have had it fixed. I was told that the Groupon was good for Flirty lashes instead which is a much lower quality amount of lashes and that If I wanted the Glamour lashes it would be an additional Charge of $115. which is ridiculous. If Holistic Fusion was aware of the error that Groupon had made they should have honored the coupons that were sold or had groupon fix the error that was made. Getting these eye lashes is a monthly maintenance procedure and I will never go back they lost me as a customer because their customer service skills were way off. If it weren't for the that I drove over a half hour to get their and I needed them for that evening I would have walk out and asked Groupon for a refund. Eye lashes are falling off three days after I got them, I could have gone to a nail place and paid thirty five dollars for the eye lashes that I got put on. Would not recommend!!!! read more
