RESPONSE TO BUSINESS: Let me get this straight, you are blaming me for your expired products and rude staff? Really? I was 100% given a hard time during the return process. The interaction was tense, dismissive, and uncomfortable, which is why I spoke up at the time. Whether that tone shows on "video" does not change how it was experienced in person. The facial also caused a major breakout. My skin is still healing! I've had plenty of facials before, and this is the first time I've ever had a reaction like this. I did not previously leave a positive review. This was my first visit and my only review. Instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the spa is pointing fingers at me, citing "footage" and a supposed positive review that doesn't exist. Their response is ridiculous and only reinforces how unprofessional this business is. My original review stands. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've never had such a hostile and weird experience at a spa. I spent over $125 on a facial and $100 for two products for my birthday, only to find it smelled disgusting and when I looked at it more closely it was expired. From the moment I walked in and tried to return them, the receptionist was aggressive, rude, and interrogating, as if I owed her an explanation. When I mentioned returning the second unopened item (that wasn't "expired"), she treated me even worse. I literally had to say, "There is no reason to be so nasty to me?" because her behavior was so unprofessional. She then called the owner in front of me, framing the situation to deny the return. I was told she would "make an exception," as if the return was some huge favor. FYI, I was never told products were nonrefundable, and selling expired ones should be corrected without argument. To top it off, the facial caused a horrific breakout. I won't be returning and would caution others before spending money here. read more

Nicely decorated, clean facility. Very professional staff from the front desk to the massage therapist Konstance. Konstance knows how to find the knots and sore spots. I strongly recommend her and the business. read more

We have been going to Freehold Body Care Spa for many years and always look forward to our services. This last visit we were charged a different price than what was booked online on top of only getting a 60 minute massage when a 80 minute massage was booked. Appointment also started 25 minutes late. Tried talking to the spa and customer service was non- existent- will take our money somewhere else in the future. Sad because we had a tradition to go there every year and this was definitely not the experience we always had. And we did try talking to the owner while onsite and followed up with an email to no avail. read more

Received the BEST massage and facial from Konstance- highly recommended! She went above and beyond to tailor both the massage and facial to my specific needs. I have seen other people at this location but she is by far the best in my opinion. Thank you, Konstance! read more

Great salon! Sterile cleanliness! Highly professional employees using the most advanced technologies and cosmetic equipment. I made a facial. My husband came to pick me up from the salon and you can imagine my surprise when he didn't recognize me! Indeed, after the procedure, I didn't recognize myself! I now look 10 years younger! My health and mood have improved! I am very grateful to the salon and Kali personally for her care and art! I recommend this salon to everyone and I am definitely becoming their regular customer. read more

I had a wonderful, relaxing facial with Yulia. She was kind, thoughtful, professional and the creams she used felt marvelous. My skin looks amazing!! I have had many facials and this was my favorite. I can't wait to go back!! read more

The best facial experience with Kali or Yulia both are knowledgeable and expert on what they do!

I Love this Spa. Yuli is excellent, and I will be going back!!

I suffer from horrible migraines so I googled scalp migraine massage in Freehold and found this Freehold body care. I immediately booked myself a scalp massage with Barbara. Freehold body care is in a great location with super easy parking in the back on court street which was convenient. The rooms were so clean and such lovely fragrances. Barbara suggested aromatherapy with the scalp massage and it was absolutely phenomenal! I will definitely come back again, Barbara is an incredible masseuse and the experience was exactly what I needed to get through this difficult week. Barbara was like an Angel for me The woman who worked the front desk was super helpful too and told me about all the amazing services offered here that I hadn't realized. She said they have offer eyelash extensions. I think I will like to try that too! Thank you so much for the fabulous experience read more

I had a waxing appointment with Nadia and she was so gentle and caring. I've never enjoyed waxing so much

Great little spot! I had a facial massage w/ Mila (so no extractions) and it was great. Price is good too. It's a low key spot but def nice enough. They have a pretty extensive menu...looking forward to trying additional treatments. read more

I went to Freehold body care for the first time yesterday and I'm glad I did! I was looking for someplace to get a facial last minute. They accommodated me right away. The receptionist was so sweet and I felt so welcomed. My facial was really relaxing and my skin felt so soft and smooth afterwards. I already booked my next appointment and I can't wait to go back and try out the other services they offer! I would 100% recommend. read more

Yes, yes, yes! Best massage I've had in a while! There is a groupon available so take advantage as a first time goer. I will definitely be back. A new location, Freehold body care is clean and bright. The receptionist was polite and informative and I was greeted with a smile. My masseuse, Mila, was so friendly and has hands of magic (lol) the right amount of pressure with the room full of tangerine aroma therapy. I opted for the hot stone massage rather than the cupping, which I loved! It was perfect and I can't wait to go back! read more

I went to Freehold Body Care for the first time today, and will definitely be going back! Mila was my therapist, and she knew exactly what she was doing. I recommend the Custom Massage, as you can get a combination of different types of treatments in one session - lymphatic drainage, swedish, therapeutic, etc. And you can choose from their long list of add ons as well. (I got the CBD and aromatherapy) It was extremely relaxing and the environment is very calming as well. Highly recommend!! read more

I absolutely loved my experience at Freehold Body Care. Kali was my aesthetician and she was a treat! I got a back facial for my congested skin, it was the first one I ever had and I am amazed at the results and how soft and clean my skin feels!!! I can feel each individual pore. Not only was it a back facial but I got a massage and while the mask was drying Kali also gave me a foot massage. It was overall and wonderful experience. The place was clean, smelled wonderful and in my opinion great prices. I will definitely be back! Thank you Kali! read more

Today I was lucky enough to visit Freehold body care a unique Therapist Kaleria! The first time I tried her signature face massage !!! It was amazing!!! She showed me my complexion in a mirror after she'd worked on one half of my face and the difference was seriously starling - the treated side was brighter, firmer and significantly more defined. Definitely coming back !love it! read more

Great atmosphere and really relaxing place. I was greeted by Mila. She explained everything in details. I had back, face and scalp massage. It was a great experience. I feel like a new person! All the tension in my back has disappeared! so many knots and stiff muscles released!!! Thoroughly relaxing. Mila focused on all the areas I needed! I would definitely recommend Mila! read more

My wife thoroughly enjoys this wonderful place. Owners are extremely professional and very nice.

Mila was awesome as usual. She's excellent. Has done my lashes also massage and radio frequency. Beautiful place and great customer service Being going to them for several years read more

Katerina does amazing lashes. The spa is a boutique style spot that offers a cozy ambiance while getting your beauty service of choice. I prefer a more natural look but my real lashes are so tiny they can't be seen even with mascara. I no longer have to deal with strip lashes or mascara. Katerina provides top notch service and I definitely recommend. read more

My bf & I came here for the first time. The staff here are very friendly. We had the couples customized massage and it felt amazing. I would be coming back again. Highly recommend! read more

I came to Freehold Body Care a couple of months back to do eyebrow waxing, eyebrow tinting, lash tinting, and lash lifting. It's been awhile, so I forget the name of the technician who did everything, but she was great! I'm the type of person who gets super uncomfortable with anything touching my face (even glasses), but she was super patient and did a great job. My goal was to be able to wear less makeup while going on vacation and she made that possible. I will be returning soon! read more

Great place to get a massage and unwind Small facility but the women are great and have hands that relieve pain. I would def go there again and got a great groupon deal for Swedish massage read more

Received this massage as a gift. It included an add-on of which I selected the hot stones and I also upgraded to a deep tissue massage. Well, Mila was amazing! Pressure was just right! Because I had so much inflammation in my back, she suggested changing from hot stones to cupping. I am so glad she did. The results were amazing! I enjoyed this massage and give Mila 5 stars! I will definitely be back. Thank you! read more

Good service and friendly staff. The massage was just fine, not the best but fine for a relaxing time on a Saturday afternoon. I will try again. Location is good and plenty of parking if you come weekday or early Saturday, as the are can get very congested after 4:00 pm. read more

Needed to find a new local spa for waxing, checked yelp and saw the reviews from previous customers that convinced me to go. I definitely was not disappointed, small clean and comfortable place. Kali was amazing- very knowledgeable, made me feel completely comfortable and took her time. I have had previous estheticians who rush and miss a few spots leaving me frustrated. Kali cleaned the areas, took her time, went back over multiple times to make sure it was worth it for me. She truly cared about my experience rather than just the money. She also gave me great advice, definitely going back again! read more

Amazing massage. Marina knew exactly what my pain was from and worked on me for an hour. Hot stones were an add on. She also used one cup on me to show me what cupping is. One of the best massages I've ever had. Normal pricing for a more luxurious atmosphere. Will definitely be back read more

I love Freehold Body & Spa. The space itself is really pretty and it is super clean. I had a massage just the other day with Marina, who was friendly and a really really good masseuse. I highly recommend this spa for a relaxing and healing time. read more

Barbara was very sweet and gave a very relaxing massage

I had a wonderful relaxing massage by Mila. She is great. I felt energized after a head to toe Swedish massage. She got rid of my neck ache and honestly I have been to many massage places and her care is up there with the Four Season Spa treatment I had previously. read more

Very friendly staff, price was extremely reasonable for what I got (lash lift & tint). My boyfriend got a massage and said it was the best massage he's gotten in a long time. We both had Mila and she was a doll. I tend to not have cash on me and my bank is far away, so being able to tip on my credit card was also very convenient! No pressure sales like you get at some massage places. We will definitely be back. read more

let me start by saying the two stars is bc everyone was really nice & the manager didn't charge after my disastrous service with them. prior to booking, i asked if they had hard wax bc it's easier on my sensitive skin. they said yes. great - booked. upon arrival, the tech let me know she had no experience with hard wax but would try. one word for y'all. OOOWWWWWWCH. so i told her go back to what you know bc this is hurting me. fast forward. my skin is on fire! i noticed about halfway (was in too much pain to notice before) that they DOUBLE DIP into the wax. by double i mean many dips. this is DISGUSTING!!!! completely nasty, unprofessional, & dirty. never ever again. read more

I have been here before using a Groupon I purchased and it was a wonderful massage. I told everyone about it and was so happy to have received a Groupon as a gift for Christmas. I called to make an appointment and was told I could not use the Groupon since I had been there once before on a Groupon. Which I understand, however, it is not sold as a Groupon for new customers only which means it should have been accepted. Though I explained how I received it as a gift the owner would not accept my Groupon that I received. Unfortunately, due to this experience I will probably not return here. read more

Massage was pretty good, but the experience was off putting. The massage therapist was trying to sell to me for the entire massage. She kept pitching weight loss plans, cleanses, and various other treatments. At one point she let me know that men absolutely loved their male Brazilian waxing. It was so good, in fact, that her clients regularly let her know that their areas were much easier to clean now that they were hairless and that they praise her every time they go to the bathroom. She also ran her finger down my crack and tugged on some hairs to let me know I could benefit from the service. I just wanted a massage. I felt like I was in a timeshare meeting. read more

Mila did a great massage everyone there is very friendly looking forward to another appointment thanks Carl
