The receptionist asked if I was okay with a male massage therapist and added how great he was. Sure, I'm okay with him, esp since I had some areas that needed some extra concern. We arrived, about 10 mins early. We were greeted by the receptionist, with a nice welcome, and instructed us to choose our aromatherapy. I was torn between the relaxation and energizing but due to some muscle tension I went with the energizing. My friend went with a blend of the two. After filling out new patient forms, we were shortly greeted by our therapist. I had Cesar and OMG he was amazing and the massage did not disappoint. He kept periodically checking to make sure the pressure was okay. I opted for a medium firm and it was heaven. Just enough to workout my tense muscle but still relaxing. I had a pain in my neck that I could literally feel Cesar massage out and I left pain free. I didn't get the young lady's name that serviced my friend but she raved about her as well. The receptionist new my name as soon as I walked in. Very attentive. I didn't have to wait long for my massage therapist. My massage therapist, Anita, was knowledgeable and listened to my concerns. I have a problem with my sinuses acting up when I'm prone (on my stomach for those non medical. Lol) for a while on the table. She offered to do my massage in side lying next time. I've never had a massage therapist suggest that or even notice that it happens to some people. At the end of the massage, she gave me a cup of cold water and a shower bomb for respiratory and sinus. She also massaged the triangular area of the sacrum that often causes lower back pain, which other places ignore. I'm not sure if it's because this is a sports recovery place, but wow. The pressure she used was excellent. I'm more light to medium. If it was too firm, she told me to let her know cause a massage should be enjoyable and not painful. I also liked the fact that she didn't talk much unless I had something to say. I could close my eyes and enjoy the quiet moment, aside from the usual massage music. The table has a warmer, so you don't get cold. They have great monthly membership pricing and also honor the Groupon price and massage time if you book another appointment.
