She knows exactly how to maneuver around the contours of the body and she goes at the perfect pace and perfect amount of pressure. 2) Facials She is so careful with her facials. I have gotten a facial once before from somebody else and they left me with scars I still have to this day...but Cynthia is so careful I would trust her with anything! Btw, you'll get an awesome mini shoulder/head and foot massage too! 3) Gift Certificate A gift certificate to Cynthia is also my go-to gift for others! Even though her services and establishment is already perfect as-is, I notice she is always improving her business. I feel like every time I go there is a new tool, addition, or something different she adds to her services which just makes the experience all that much better. I always walk into her spa a frazzled, stressed out brick of tension and leave as a blissful puddle of tranquility each and every time. Her space is so inviting (picture a dark room with candlelight and pleasant aromatherapy scents). The massage table feels like a cotton cloud with heat underneath. So incredibly comfortable. Her hands work absolute magic. She is a tiny person, but her hands are strong and she knows exactly where to work out all the kinks. I am here to say, after a year of searching, no one has come within striking distance of April. As corporate girlie and reluctant driver I spend a lot of time in the same position. Bra straps are not padded for some reason. Additionally, I am one of those people who enjoys being tenderized. I know that is not for everyone but I have never requested light pressure. April is intuitive, her strategy is flawless and restorative. I would float back to work from our sessions, glowing brighter than the sun in OB. I visited other therapists there, April is worth shifting your schedule. My biggest regret is not having at least one 90 minute session but she was easily my favorite biweekly self care appointment. I would teeter on the edge of awareness and sleep with her ability to release the tension from my neck, shoulders and hands. I'm sure I did sleep a few times because I was finally able to relax. Thai Health Massage Salon is located on the third floor of a professional building in the same strip mall as Sushi Ota in PB. Panida, the owner, provides a massage using a modality of your choice (e.g. Thai, shiatsu, Swedish, sports, hot stone, etc) or a mix of any of these. Sessions are booked by appointment only. You can do that online using the website or by calling the phone number and leaving a voicemail if she doesn't answer. Park in one of the two hour spaces in the front or back of the building. The suite has a private room where the massage can be performed on a table (my preference) or a mattress on the floor. The setting is very comfortable with dim lighting and soft instrumental music. Panida asks you which area(s) you want to have worked on. She also frequently checks to make sure you are comfortable. The amount of pressure she can apply with her hands or feet can be significant if you can tolerate the discomfort. As a bonus, Panida can add cupping or hot stones to your massage if you ask. There is no surcharge for these extra components. Some stretching exercises are usually incorporated near the end of a session. The price for a 60 or 90 minute massage is very comparable to those offered in the nearby area. You may even get a discount and/or extra minutes from Panida if you become a regular customer. A little while back, she added a salon setup to the suite if you are seeking that type of service. This place is really a hidden gem. I would highly recommend Panida's capabilities to anyone looking for a massage.
