First, the location was easy to find, with free two-hour parking in front. Second, the office was very clean. Third, Ruthie was very friendly and nice. I filled out a short intake form describing my health habits and problem areas. I was pleased to discover that Ruthie actually has over 20 years of experience, and works part-time at a high-end sports club. The massage itself was great! Ruthie applied just the right amount of pressure - not too light and not too hard. I asked if she could use Lavender essential oil and she gladly obliged (without any extra charges). I think Ruthie must work with athletes because she was able to work out the tightness in my shoulders and applied the right amount of pressure to several points. In addition to traditional massage techniques it seemed like she did some light stretching as well. She used warm towels, lotions, and oil. There is a water fountain outside of the office so there is the calming sound of water to go with the relaxing music during your treatment. The only slight downside is that you can occasionally hear people talking outside as they walk by, but it's just for a few minutes because the small complex is generally quiet, especially on weekend afternoons. Overall, I was very pleased and felt amazing afterwards! See Ruthie in her office instead of paying twice as much at some foo-fooey sports club. She genuinely loves what she does and it shows. She offers Saturday and Sunday afternoon appointments as well as weekday appointments.
