Due to the pandemic, I did everything over the internet. The gentleman I dealt with was only concerned with helping me get exactly what I wanted. With incredible patience he provided me with specific information, checked inventories and made suggestions. After I made my final decisions, he explained all of the options available for assembly and delivery. The day after I made my decisions I physically went into the the store to pay for my selections. All of the paperwork needed was prepared and waiting at the front desk. This entire process was fast, easy and a perfect example of stellar customer service. Re-supply happens any day mail is delivered, with the exception of Monday. The prices were a little higher than others, but the quality was better too.

However I have found myself here twice in the past week. The first time was to try to find pruners that can be used standing. While we were not able to find those, sadly, the owner (I think) and his employee went out of their way to see how they could help me. Then, a few days later, I find myself on a mission to find a certain kind of plant food. I had already checked at Home Depot while buying bird seed, but they had not had it come in for over a year and were not sure when it was coming in. I called Walmart, Loews, and two garden stores in the area too. They did not have any in stock either. On a whim I stopped in here again, asked the employee if they had it, he took me to the aisle and there it was!! I scooped up the two boxes they had. This store looks small from the outside, but it is quite large once inside. It is next to and connected to the Schuele Paint Store, more or else on the corner of Summer and Main. Rather than travel to the suburbs, I will go here first now, they are helpful, pleasant, local and easy to get to.

I was told it would be in just after 4 July. They took my info and wrote it and the price on a piece of paper. My husband went in a couple weeks later and they said next week. I called about a week and a half ago and they said it was in but they couldn't call me because they "lost" the paper with my number on it. When my husband went to pick it up he was told the sale was over and it was now the regular price! I called and said I didn't understand why I didn't get the sale price since it was them and Toro that advertised without enough stock. He call me back and said he's give it to me for $600 something. Still more than $100 more than I was quoted. The lady that was there when I went in remembered me and the situation but referred me to the owner. I didn't buy it and as much as I prefer to support local , which was why I went there in the first place , I will never buy anything more than a can of bug spray from them. I have an ACE near my work. I'm not even sure I will buy a Toro, but, we had luck with an old gas mower but wanted to upgrade to a battery powered one. I don't believe they "lost" the paper, I'm just mad that I didn't screenshot it, but, I doubt it would have mattered.

The staff was very friendly and was able to give me exactly what I needed. The keys worked perfectly. I have had keys made here before and they were also perfect; I've had to take keys made at Home Depot back for not working properly on more than one occasion.
